                                                          Democracy has FAILED and brought down with it an entire Nation, America is a FAILED State mainly because Democracy's Prime Power resides in  MAJORITY RULE .   America is now being ruled by a KING/DICTATOR who CANNOT BE STOPPED primarily because conge$$ is also a FAILED {Political} Body .   Democracy, as it happens, could NOT prevent its own demise, indeed, Democracy was the SOURCE of the Republican Power that has transmogrified the Union into garrulous Factions, either unwilling or incapable of PRACTICAL co-operation with the Goal of GENERAL PUBLIC WELFARE .   The Few that Rule HAVE NO INTEREST IN DEMOCRACY and it is DEMOCRACY that GUARANTEES this TREASONOUS Mindset .

Miss Adventure

                                                           I am a Utopian-ist .   I Believe that the >Best Ruler< is, according to Machiavelli, an "Enlightened Despot", of which Ashoka is an example .  SOME of the tenets of Utopianism can be found in the Tao Te Ching, and from there I steal, "The Government is Best when it governs not at all" .   We could spend YEARS analyzing the Tao Te Ching, so even to invest in one semester would NOT garner us a complete Understanding, no matter, the MEANING of the above quote is quite simple, the government that is Best FEELS as if it does NOT exist, that things "happen naturally" : so much so, that "IT", the Gov,,  can't be detected .  I LOVE that .

                          But I digress, forgive an old man .   I introduce Utopianism because recently democrats {aka dumb-o-crats, democ-RATS} have somewhat embraced --->Socialism, to the extent that so-called "Democratic Socialists" have been elected abjectly REMOVING "Old Guard" incumbents from positions previously revered as "Sacrosanct" .   Here it is where the Gravity of the Status Quo HAS-BEEN neutralized if not flat-out OVERCOME , launching these Socialists, into civic Prominence .  Believe me when I write >>>  I am inwardly EXALTING .  It appears that Young Folk have had enough with a Status Quo that continues to Power Political Rigor-mortis .   It's been a long time coming .

                                                          The time approaches where we will need to re-build all that trump and his have destroyed, he question is, What will that look like ?  There has been a general 'Call' to abandon the Status Quo and  re-introduce Democracy once again, but this time with "Socialism" as a physical "Influencer" .  My Gentle Readers know that I am no fan of Democracy, I mean, seriously, "IT"  "looked good on paper", shit, it looked fucking TERRIFIC , the Constitution that is, but it did NOT "Withstand the Test of Time" indeed, it has failed miserably .  We must not ignore the FACT that Democracy elected trump , and it was [is] Democracy that supplied ALL the Power that trump so mercilessly wields .   A simple "Re-Build" would indicate that the Society and Culture that has been RAVAGED by trump and trumpism, STILL has NOT "Learned its lessons" ,   that the Gravity of the Status Quo could NOT be overcome, and Folks, despite trump's Political Cruelty, continues on unabated and un-contested .   To -re-build America WITHOUT "Change" is not just stupid, it is EINSTEIN Stupid .  No,,, a Re-build in the same Likeness and Image of the Ancients would NOT alter American Reality, it would simply invite yet another COLOSSOL FAILURE, Mass SUFFERING resulting .

                                                           I have a Love Hate relationship with America and Americans .   I LOVE America, at least the utopic Vision presented by the earnest Ancients who devoted themselves to "building" a government that could re-define Government, a One that not only refuted the policies and postulates of Kingship and Dictatorships in general, but a government that could repel anti-Democracy 'sentiments' .    Ya gotta give it to them ---- they TRIED , but now after 250 years we have experienced CATASTROPHIC FAILURE , the Gov they Intended has fallen victim TO ITS OWN CONSTITUTION, we can say that Democracy has EATEN itself, Democracy--- has been CONSUMMED by Corruption and a MASSIVE Mental Disease that has acted like Cancer but with the touchable ubiquity of Covid .   Congress people have been infected with a Disease, the infection spreading from trump to his with RAPACIOUS Velocity.   The Disease is COWARDICE , but it AIN'T "just that", no and FUCK NO, I Believe Human Nature itself has been effected, folks are UNWILLING to sacrifice their COMFORT to oppose a "man" who is CLEARLY >>>>>>>>>>>>INSANE<<<<<<<<<<<<< .   They have EMBRACED that Insanity and made it their own ---- they have forsaken their Duties and Obligation and ABANDONED all that once made America the Paradigm for World Excellence .  Selfishness, Greed and GLUTONY for Power now are the "Trademarks" of loyal sycophants beholden to trump .   Here it is where "I don't care" is the BRAND that is displayed with both ardor and vigor ------ on the Street it has this appearance "FUCK YOU" "I got mine and I don't care if You have  NOTHING" .   

                          Thing is, the REASON we don't got nothin' is because  RICH  ASSHOLES TOOK IT ALL !  And 'took' is generous since IT WAS STOLEN !!!

The End is Fear

                                                           The scotus upheld 'Citizen Birth', meaning, if you are born on U.S. Soil you have 'Citizenship' .   You'd think and even wanna Believe that "thing are still working as they should", 2words : HORSESHIT .    The scotus is "bought and paid for" in the exact same way as trump and his administration .  Here it is where BIG and SPECIAL Interests are the "Influencers", where MONEY buys Policy, where PROFIT Rules with a "heavy hand" and steel-toed boots .   

                          Year and YEARS ago I warned All that trump wuz-gonna re-make the gov in HIS Image and Likeness, and he has done so with BRILLIANT Exaction .   The U.S. government is unrecognizable both at home, among its own Citizens, and abroad among those that use to be our Friends and ALLIES .  Broken-heart Sickness, that WAS confined to events occurring in what use to be America, has 'presented' with new a form of Mental Depression because of the War and the Corruption it has begotten [generated] .   America is SICK and Tried, where Sick and Tired is perhaps better represented as Diseased and Exhausted .   We are NOT "Holding our own", indeed, what belongs to US has been ripped from our clutches with incredible MAGNITUDE and Cruelty ,, and worse, {I Believe} there is no END in sight .

                       

Heat

                                                          There is a heat wave forecasted for this week, temperatures that will approach 100 degrees, which will render out-door work seriously unhealthy, and for an old man in his early 70's,,  prohibitive .   The time for out-door activity will be in the very early morning from around 5 to 7 o'clock ,  the time I usually write blogs .  I still may write if conditions around the Globe demand attention, but otherwise, I will be on a mini-hiatus .

                            The Heat drives grass and turf into a sort of dormancy where growth is interrupted, grasses are generally NOT Heat Loving but WEEDS and the like know no such restriction, indeed, some  FLOURISH .  

                             I LOVE the Heat because of its INTENSITY .   Few of Us have seen gasoline BOIL when poured into the cell of a chainsaw because of the Heat, I have, many times, "IT" is the Nature of the Business , ya still gotta eat, so you still gotta work, "That's just the way it is" ,   but I was younger then, I'm so much older now .  

                             I have rock moving work to perform, here, I can sit on my old-man's-flat-ass and go SLOWLY .   I love going slooooooooooooooowly .   Fortunately the rock and stone that must be moved rest in the shade, once the Sun swings around, so,,, there's THAT .

                            This morning I have concrete work to execute, I love concrete work, there's NOTHING like it as far as Satisfaction is concerned........... .

"Stillness is Bliss"

                                                           We needn't speculate on the possibility of a place or structure that does NOT 'have" Consequences, you-wanna think  that a Utopia would NOT have consequences, that in a Utopia there is NO SUCH THING AS CONSEQUENCE .   I ain't buyin' "IT" .   For a Utopia to be free of consequences it must somehow exist in a NON-PHYSICAL Dimension, a one that does NOT and CANNOT be 'effected' by ---> Actions .  Here it is where Newton's Laws could not exist .

                        I have long since charged that my Guy and HERO/NERD Einstein never finished his Theory of Relativity because IF he had we would have been given the Math for LOVE and other Emotions that PLAGUE Humankind.  For example, what is the Equation for Love ?   What is the Equation for Peace-----------for Prosperity-------------------for HARMONY ???????????  

                      I have confessed {poor choice} that one of my Life's Goals is to introduce a nu Branch of Zen, and its name is QUANTUM Zen .   Initially I sought to give Mahayana Buddhism an affirmation based on Quantum Mechanics, but not just ANY Quantum Mechanics but the Quantum Mechanics that "holds" that Two OPPOSITES can be True at the exact same time .   I love this  because "IT" affords the possibility and PROBABILITY that Cosmic MYSTERIES are ACTUALLY a FOUNDATION of Science--- a Science that Acknowledges MYSTICISM as a Component of Reality --- that's me. I LIVE there .

                    Note this Buddhist DOGMA {from the Mahayana}=  "Stillness is Bliss"  [where there is no movement {ACTIONS} there are no Consequences {RE-Actions} ] .

The CON in Consequence

                                                          I seek to focus the Attention of my Gentle Readers on the word and concept of >consequences< ..  We hear that trump does shit without consequences, and that he is ABLE to do shit because there ARE no consequences .   More fucking horseshit I CANNOT swallow .    The Freedom callously described as LIBERATION, was felt to be 'Consequence Free" meaning sexual activity could be experienced as "TRUE Freedom", the Pill was POWER, but "IT" could only SUSPEND Consequence NOT eliminate it .   The American Society and Culture continued to REJECT the Hedonist Mindset that characterized Hippies of sub-moral attenuation which was utterly fucked up but produced this repulsion "If a guy fucks a hundred chicks he's a STUD, but if a GIRL fucks a hundred guys, she's a SLUT."   

                            Folks who think that >consequences< do not or CANNOT exist are in abject DEFIANCE of Newton's Law of  Motion which is "For every Action there is an equal and opposite RE-Action" .   In the same way that NO ONE can >Defy< Gravity, so it is that NO ONE can Defy Newton and his Law of  Motion, the Physics just doesn't support such fantastical Defiance .

"The Good, the Bad, and the fucking UGLY"

                                                           It is IMPERATIVE to try and Understand that the Hippie Movement had, as its Foundation, the Use AND Abuse of Drugs and Chemicals and the Use of These afforded a brand-new FREEDOM from (get this)  CONSEQUENCES .    Chicks, Girls, Broads, Dames and Women could fuck whomever they desired WITHOUT CONSEQUENCE due to "The Pill".  During these Times Abortions were EASILY Accessible, further deepening the Freedom I have just cited .    Feminism was now CARRYING a NU FORM of Singular INDEPENDENCE ,  an Independence that itself  signaled the advent of not only PERSONAL Power, but Power that could be harnessed by ALL WOMEN .   There was a CHANGE that reverberated throughout Society and Culture , and which drove the Right fucking NUTS !    Females who wanted to lead a somewhat HEDONIST Life had little desire to be child-bearers, and indeed, children {as Robert Pirsig intensely noted} were NOT considered VALUABLE ;   marriage and children were viewed as something OUTSIDE personal responsibility, where 'personal' also means Societal and Cultural as well .   Strong and SUPER-STRONG Women were Ascending much to the discomfort and dismay of Conservatives who were reluctant to advance Women in he first place .   Where there  had been POLITICAL Fissures within Society NU Fissures, due to GENDER, were now being experienced in that same Society .   Things were getting "Out Of Hand" ,   which caused yet another Conservative >>>"White-Lash" .

                                                           Hippie-ism de-evolved into "Grunge", check that, those Hippies that did  NOT "Join the System" were left scattered about without tether, lifeline or umbilicus, and History has recorded that there was an "outbreak" of tattered Hippie-ism that found its way to Seattle to be re-named and re-calibrated as "Grunge" .   These were the very "DIRTY HIPPIES" that Conservatives and some of the rest of us found blatantly DISGUSTING .   They produced >>>PUNK<<< Rock, of which I am certainly no Fan  and an 'appearance' that 'reflected' a >>>care-less<<< attitude for even normal physical and mental Hygiene .   Where clothing-as-Attire was identified as Uniform for Hippies, that is, beat Levi jeans, tie-die T-shirts, hiking boots and Pro Keds ,,, the Grunge wore filthy tatters, as if to proclaim some sort of  Asceticism, a vomitous REBUKE of Hippies and their Attire-as-Uniform .   {Uni = One,,, Form}.  'Grunge' didn't last---how could it ?

                             Enter Madonna and her Generation of "Wanna-be's" ---  a Generation that declared "I'm a 'MATERIAL GIRL' and my insular favorite, "Girl's Just Wanna Have FUN" .

Make MONEY not Love

                                                          Ya gotta figure that after the Fall of Saigon in 1975, Hippies claimed victory, {I don't remember Hippies claiming victory} and that the Hippie sub-culture was exhausted AND that their own Efforts to establish some sort of Utopia or even Sanctuary in Haight-Ashbury, was a drug-induced crime-ridden DISASTER .   Not only couldn't Hippies Farm, they didn't know how and had never been ON a Farm, they steadfastly REFUSED to enter ANY "Political Arena" within which they could advance the more digestible aspects of Hippiedom, those of ULNIVERSAL Love and PLANETARY Peace .   Not only didn't they maintain allegiance to their own Values they de-evolved to the nearly BLIND Acceptance of Conservative Values evidenced by this >>>  "I HAD to cut my hair, I NEEDED a job !"   Although    not coerced, they "came to their senses" , meaning, they HAD-TO >>>Conform<<< if they were to advance into Life with a paying job, a job that could support (get this) THEIR VERSION of the >>>>>> American Dream .  Here it is where Hippies "became" Yuppies signaling the dissolution of Altruistic Values and the riSE of Conservativism , the same STATUS QUO Conservatism that was the Cause of the Hippie  Movement in the First Place .   I think THIS is why I think so poorly of the Hippie Movement, they CAVED .

                                                           Ya gotta figure 'something' went rwong* .   From the inception of the League of Nations in 1920 after the First World War, which was based upon Immanuel Kant's "Perpetual Peace ;  A Philosophical Sketch" which he penned in >>>>1795<<<< to the abject FAILURE of the United Nations which was origined* in 1945 , there MUST have been certain 'Conditions' that brought about hitler and Nazi-ism and then, within 70 or so years, saw the entry of trump, whom vance tagged as "America's HITLER", the SUPER Decline of Universal POSITIVE Values , that resulted in a resurgence of Nazi-ism cloaked as Anti-Migration-ism .   

                             My Gentle Readers recall that recently I sought to locate >Blame< for trump and his almost Sociopathic Politics of Cruelty --- I feared that it was MY Generation that somehow 'developed' those same Conditions that promoted {tough word} trump to advance politically to the point of "No Return";  the point where Conservatives could USE trump to RE-Establish THEIR Version of Political "Law and Order" , the one of the Antebellum South, that of most VILE HATRED toward HUMAN BEINGS .   

                             I have recently learned (Lucas Bean et al) that it WAS My Generation that is responsible for trump and the now Ancient Confederacy that has presently achieved Ascendency .  As I just mentioned, I sought to Blame Hippies for this, "Tune in, Turn On--Drop out"-- a singular expression of "Fuck You, we want NO part of the System"--- that cleared the Way for Anti-Hippie-ism, and also for the latent Conservatives to gain a 'foothold' in Politics, a foothold that ultimately led to the MARCH of Reagan and Conservative ..."White-lash" .  

                           I can't tell you how much THAT  Hurts .

The Ideology of Cartoon

                                                          Some of us are completely familiar with "The Politics Girl" one Leigh McGowan, who resembles one of my fav all-time actresses Kristen Johnston [of] whom  we know from watching "3rd Rock From The Sun" .   Recently Leigh {who is also an Author > A Return To Common Sense} , posted that we, as a Nation, are living in a CARTOON Reality, and she cited the "Green-Water guy as PROOF .   I love this  since living in a Cartoon is kinda pre-school for living in a Myth, which is what we are doing, at least as far as I 'go' .   Cartoons are barely one step away from "Kiddie Lit" -- indeed, some cartoons are dependent upon the Kiddie Lit Genre, and I MUST include the various Myths, Stories and Fables that are a TREASURE to the Nations of the Planet .   Just to be CLEAR =  the guys with whom trump has surrounded himself are NOT "True Men" in ANY Sense of "True Men", since they do not ACT "like" True Men, in ANY Way, Shape or Form .  They DO "Act" like Cartoon Characters the likes of "Snidely Whiplash" and "Cruella de Vil" to  note {randomly} .    Look at trump, listen to trump .  All the garish and garrulous 'discharge' of "Foghorn Leghorn" and the dim-witted stubborn-ness of Elmer Fudd .   

                           I NEED to showcase the CONDITION of TV Commercials, that many of them are CARTOONS , and Cartoons are a VEHICLE OF COMMUNICATION for Capitalists who NEED to make things appear EZ, because of the True Nature of the American Collective Conscious .   I inject this,  "They Became What They Beheld ".

                                                          Bacchus wanted to reward Midas for his kindness and generosity toward Bacchus' foster-father and so told Midas that he would grant whatever  Midas wished, and WITHOUT THINKING Midas said, "Whatever I touch will be turned into GOLD".   You can read the Problem, IT'S IN BOLDFACE .   

                          You'd think and even want to Believe that Midas' Kingship would have (somehow) GUARANTEED at least a MINIMAL amount of Consideration, that he would have consulted his advisors or whomever else was available so that some COLLECTIVE BENEFIT could be derived from Bacchus' Generosity .   2 words :  NOPE .   Midas thought only of himself   and IGNORED the Needs of his Subjects .   

                          Midas did NOT "Think things through" to their Logical Outcome, and he was forced, due to starvation, to recant his wish .   He could have saved himself some misery if he had simply taken his time to consider the ramifications of his Desire .

"The Golden Ass"

                                                          Within the first few paragraphs of Midas's 'predicament' we find the Midas went from a a joy "that knew  no bounds" to a profound HATRED of the Gift given to him by (get this) BACCHUS !    Weirdly, there is a story within a story, where we learn that Midas was PUNISHED by Apollo, and that this punishment was that Midas would 'turn into' an ASS .   Oh how we of the Present Day would just LOVE to see trump similarly transformed !!!  Alas, it is not to be .   

                         I've waited for the media nit wits to highlight trump's OBSESSION with gold by referring to Midas, and indirectly the Mythology surrounding Midas .   I don't know what I was thinking, they did NOT, and I find that, {as a make-believe Scholar}, not only Disappointing, but malfeasant as well .   I WANT to ask, How could they be so "out-of-touch" (?) but perhaps it's NOT them but I !!!   It sucks to get old and then you find that Bulfinch's Mythology has NOT been Read well enough to provide Mythological Context to trump and his "schemes' .   It is I who is "out of touch" ???

                                                           I don't want anybody to miss that Venezuela has suffered catastrophic damage from the Earthquakes that have been visited upon it .   I argue that the Event is NOT a Coincidence, that, the Universal Energy, the Divine Intelligence, the Infinite ALL, (whatever we wish to tag "IT") is "at work" here .   Only a few weeks have elapsed since trump "took over", since then, millions upon MILLIONS of oil gallons have been extracted and sold, but the whereabouts of the profits remain hidden .   Some have said that the monies are located in some sort of Trust that only trump and his can access .  Ohers say that the funds ARE accessible by the U.S. and Venezuela --- either way, the monies and/or funds have NOT seen the Light of Venezuela's Common Folk, its own Peoples .   they continue to Suffer and Suffer GREATLY .

                             The Teaching is that "The Lord works in Mysterious Ways",  that for the Finite Mind to Understand the Infinite Mind is >IMPOSSIBLE< ,,,  for the most part, I would agree .   But I must insist that there ARE 'Times' when we must NOT ignore what is directly in front of us ~~~~~~  we DON'T want to "Step over a dollar to pick up a dime" .   Trump got control of Venezuela, within days Earthquakes RAVAGED that Nation's Land and Peoples .   We must not "miss the point' of  Synchronicity, that is, "Meaningful Coincidence" .   

                            There's this :  "Whatever trump touches turns to shit" --->  Global Agreement for sure .

Small victories that are COLOSSAL

                                                           Technically, the only Folks actually combatting putin are the Ukrainians, so we CAN declare that THEY are "Winning" but [somehow] trump is LOSING and losing "BIGLY" .    Trump has SURRENDERED to Iran, meaning AMERICA HAS SURRENDERED .   No one saw "IT" coming, least of all trump .   What HAS occurred is that American WILL has [somehow] been imposed onto trump and his, in such a way as to DIRECTLY Influence trump to ABANDON the Conquest of Iran .    I would LOVE for America to take ALL the "Credit" but no, of course not .   I insist there was a "Weight of the 'World' "  on trump's shoulders, a Weight clearly UNBEARABLE for him and his , so now we see feel and hear him BETRAY his own in order to maintain the Power that he usurped in the first place .   I will use World Mind Energy to describe and define Weight (of the World) .    Good, Honest and Decent Folks around the World focused their Mind Energies onto trump and he felt that POWER .   "IT" is happening in Russia and Israel .    [Somehow] Goodness is advancing .

"500 Hundred Miles High"

                                                            It's completely Understandable that We as in "We the People" are focused on trump's newest Debacle, the Reflecting Pool, that "IT" has become a NATIONAL Embarrassment where 'embarrassment' is code for JOKE .   Even those of us who are challenged by 'symbolism' and the like, are SEEING that the Debacle is yet another MANIFESTATION of trump's MIND and, for all intents and purposes, its Machinations .   Trump and We are experiencing the CONSEQUENCES of trump's decisions, the decisions that have now cost America BILLIONS UPON BILLIONS of American HARD-EARNED Tax dollars.   We are PISSED where 'pissed' is code for FURIOUS !!!   

                            Still ~~~ there remains a Sense of Helplessness that pervades the already Exhausted Psyche of the American Mental Politic , a Sense that trump is out of control and can't be stopped .   

                            BUT ...

                            There is Reporting that Ukraine is attacking once inviolable military bases, and sensitive infrastructures not only in Russia but Crimea as well .  Indeed, attacking the Russian supply lines that lead into Crimea has cause MASS Concern in Moscow, since Crimea is considered THE 'land base' for Russian Operations in Ukraine .  We MUST consider that Ukraine has gained some sort of "Upper Hand" in the War, that putin is STRUGGLING to maintain ORDER in Russia in the EXACT Same Way that trump is STRUGGLING in America AND Netanyahu in Israel .

                           We can only "SEE" this from a vantage point well above the teeny tiny reflecting pool in D.C. hence the title of this blog .

Humpty Trumpty had a great fall ....

                                                           Wars expose Flaws, Flaws in the Civilization, Flaws in the Society and Flaws in the Culture but not just these, but Flaws in Individuals as well .   Elsewhere I have proffered that the turning away from Reason and toward Instinct is DE-Evolutionary .  To be driven by Instinct is to be Animalistic, that is, to Deny one's HUMANITY .   This is where trump is, his Actions are those of a 'something' that denies Humanity and favors Animalism*, the so-called "dog-eat-dog" mental complex that PUNISHES Humanity for being, in its eyes, weak .  We speak of "Top Dog" because it supplies an understanding that on an elementary level we are all animals and that Ferocity is the Highest "Value" .

                                                           WE are the Peoples that History will record, our INACTIONS* and our ACTIONS have ---> Consequences, the so-called "End-Result(s)" that Determine  Civilizational Trajectory , both "for Better and for Worse" .   It is heartening for me to see that Folks have taken to the Facebook to voice their Concerns which in brutal and savage Truth, are OUR Concerns .   They want to make certain we are getting the Truth .   They speak with Passion, where Passion is a Form of Love, a Love for their Homeland, a Love for Peace and a Love for JUSTICE .  I LOVE their LOVES .  I must insist that Patriotism is also a Form of Love, despite its 'Abstract' Nature .  We and They BELIEVE in America, that IT is at its core ---> Good .   Can America's Goodness be PROVEN ?   It has been so in the Past ,,,, America has been not only Kind but GENEROUS, as the 60's and 70's TRIED to Prove with all Its "Gifts" to 3rd World Countries and the like .   America WANTED to >Share< its Largess and did so with UNIVERSAL American Sanction .   That "IT" is referred to as "Soft" Power. We were SOFT ---luxuriously so .

The Earth Mental Dynamic

                                                           I am inclined to Believe that We are in a Time Zone where History is being made on a Cataclysmal Level, meaning, the Surrender of the Germans, Italians, and Japanese was the Origin of a New World Order, the OLD was Defeated by the Violent Goodness of Unified Effort to stop a MADMAN from literally trying to Exterminate an entire People, HIS OWN COUNTRYMEN, from Existence here on Earth .   Goodness "Won" -----but Sorrowfully,,,, "IT" didn't end There .   Nazi-ism survived, Fascism survived, Dictator-ism* survived .   There's this :  "You can't kill Ideas, you can't kill Ideologies" for the very Reason that they {somehow} exist as part of the Earth Collective, meaning, just by their very Nature as Mental Fabrications, Abstracts, as it were,,  they are Part of the Mind of Earth .  Recall the Taxonomic Hierarchy that places Humans as ANIMALS --->  FIRST .   It's UGLY but the Mind of Earth has Combat as an Instinct, an ANIMAL Instinct, which binds us to the Law of the Jungle, which is perhaps the First Law of Earth Mental Dynamics .  If we don't kill, we don't eat .  

                               There's a School of Thought that insists that the consumption of animal flesh was NECESSARY for our brains to grOW, had we not become carnivores we couldn't have become what we are today, "Self-Aware" Intelligents* .  "That's just the way it is", as Bruce Hornsby and the Range have identified .

                                                          One of my neighbors said this :  "2nd Graders have a built-in bullshit detector";  another neighbor resigned, "Our society does not do well with Honesty" .    The first statement stopped me 'dead in my tracks', while the second "floored" me .   

                              I walked away from both,,, shaking my head in uncertainty .   I wasn't buying the first, I mean, I WANTED to Believe but there wasn't enough Evidence to satisfy my Mind, the second just HURT .   I argue that we must be TAUGHT what is Good, and what is Bad, as well as the DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO .   "IT" doesn't end with that, we must be Taught HOW to differentiate between the two, to Learn WHY one is 'better' than the other and then we must be TRAINED to adhere to the GOOD, REGARDLESS of Personal Consequences, as long as our Sacrifice buoys the Health and Welfare of our Society and Culture .   We Must learn that to Benefit the Common Good SHOULD BE the Ultimate Goal of Individual Attainment {Achievement} .   I BELIEVE Kennedy had it Right "Ask NOT what your country can do for you,,,,,,, ask what can I do for my Country" .   Idealism at its raw Best .

                                They KILLED Kennedy for his Words, the Right wanted NO PART of Political Commiseration, NO PART of COLLECTIVE Benefit .   His EXECUTION altered the Trajectory of a once Promising Union .  

What does Step One Look Like ?

                                                           Yesterday I heard one of the most punishing statements since trump got elected, it is this : "There are kids out there who know only trump."  .   We're talkin' school children, those of the "impressionable age", kids, that because of their age, do NOT have the experience nor knowledge to defend their own minds, and therefore are susceptible to ALL the bullshit, piss and corruption that is w-i-d-e-band broadcast throughout the day .   We want to believe they were born into Innocence but that Innocence was short lived .   To them Corruption IS --->  NORMAL .   The Present Day Status Quo is all they know, such is the Foundation of their Adult Life .

                           There are Questions .   We can't arrest folks because of their religious convictions, should we then attempt to arrest those of POLITICAL >Convictions< ?   We DEFINITELY can't arrest folks for being dumb or Stupid, for that matter, but if they steadfastly refuse to Believe what is TRUE and that Truth SHOULD be the Bedrock for the Foundations and Institutions of Society, Culture and Civilization itself, what can be done to Change their Minds that they may receive and ACCEPT the Truth ???

                                                           In the 'Cosmic Scheme of Things' I want to blame TV for the present condition of what use to be America .   However, to scrutinize that 'blame' would take some time, and I don't have the time to defend my assertion, at least today {this week, this month or this year] .   Instead, I want to get something "off my chest" .   Here it is :   Trump is UGLY, and if you voted for trump, YOU are UGLY as well .   That's it ... .

                             Elsewhere I have contended that each and every one of Us contain "The All of Everything", meaning, within our Minds and Bodies are ALL the Elements necessary to Create Life, Mother Nature has GUARANTEED our Continuation by encoding each cell with the Universe's "Blue-print" .   In this, we are both Infinitely Beautiful AND Infinitely Ugly, "you can't have one without the other" .    I remind my Gentle Readers, trump and all his bullshit is within each and every one of us as is Jesus, Buddha and Mohammed, as well as GOD, ESPECIALLY the "Spirit of God".   We are Blessed and Cursed at the exact same Time .   This is the Human Lot .

                            We must make a Determination ;  are we to reside in our Beauty and the Beauty of the Universe or are we to  reside in Ugliness, the Filth and Squalor of >Self-Imposed< Corruption ?

                                                           I need to devise a NEW WORD =  it is "Dysconcertion" which I derived from the transitive verb 'disconcert' .  I took the d-y-s from dystopic so I could add a sense of "fucked-uP" but on a Utopic Level .   Here we go...   As far as dysconcertion* goes,,, I remember learning that SOME children crave >Attention< so much so, that they will do anything to get said attention even if that  Attention is NEGATIVE .   I offer trump as grotesque example .    We KNOW trump NEEDS Attention, he FEASTS on "IT" and "IT" defines his existence --- 2 words =  IT AIN'T NORMAL ESPECIALLY for an old man .   We are so removed from 'Normal' we can barely remember what Normal is suppose to look like , much less how Normal is suppose to be REALITY .    One Post Producer described it fully, "Trump is a two year old sitting on a GUILDED  High Chair {which he mistakes for a THRONE} .   It ain't JUST that "The emperor has no clothes" it's "THE EMPEROR SHITS HIS BRITCHES" .   Untrained Toddler gets us to THERE .

Ducks Blind

                                                          What is modestly disconcerting are the DUCKS that are "happy as clams" paddling about "without a care in the world" .   (Just now I scolded myself for using clams to describe ducks, it may be one of those moments mornings where my 'sense of direction' is skewed /////// but shit, I can't help myself.)   I wanted to believe that the Pool had becomes trump's TOILET and that Good Ducks could not and WOULD not even consider dwelling in his toilet for even ONE second .   From the Doobie Brothers =  "I was wrong, oh so wrong" ... .   Brave  Ducks  being  Protected  by  the  National Guard .   2 words :  Wow .

                            Trump is now at his BEST --- he has accused Others of (get this) VANDALISM ---  claiming it was these Vandals who poured a paint-stripper into the Pool and THAT was and is the Cause of severe degradation, patches of the sealant becoming unglued and floating within the Liquid that use-ta-be* water .   To further reinforce this >totally trumpian< >Mind-set< , he's deployed police and national guard to "protect" the pool from future  "Domestic Terrorism" "Attacks" .   How great is trump "  I mean HOW FUCKING GREAT IS THIS ASSHOLE ??? 

                            I can hear trump ask :  Mirror Mirror on the MALL who's the Bad Ass of them all ?   The Reflecting Pool hears this :  ...who's the Bad EST of them all, and so responds with Algae Blooms --> the TRUTH of Contamination, the Corruption of Purity .

                                                           Remember that WW II was "The War to end all Wars" and there must have been a corollary :  `There will never be another Hitler` .   Here's another of my pet expressions ;  "How did things get so fucking fucked-up ?"   Good question .

                            My Generation protested Viet Nam .   The Protesting was national, meaning EVERY College and University Protested and the FEELING that the War was UN-JUSTIFIED was ubiquitous .   Ya-wanna believe that the FEELING produced by War is Universal, and should be Condemned BY EVERYONE  including  those  Students of Academia .    So what happened ?     Why haven't they Protested ?  

                           In the previous blog I mentioned My Generation and the uneasy sensation I experienced because of a Thought that MY Generation was "at fault" for what appears as 'Academic Apathy' .   These Students, these kids, ARE the offspring of one-time hippies gone the way of Yuppification ---  OF COURSE MY Generation is at Fault, who else COULD IT BE ???  

Molt or Mutation ?

                                                           I had no plans to write this morning -- I'm going through some sort of 'molt' , the kind where the old is no longer serviceable but the new has undergone what I think is a mutation .   There's a GREAT 'line' ;  "Some people change, some people mutate."   I love that .  I am a mutation .

                           Yesterday while I was trying to raise a 500 rock into place on top of a much larger boulder, I had a sickening sensation that it was MY Generation that is responsible for the Present Day American Crisis of Truth Evaporation .    Keep in Mind I AM a "Child of the 70's" the EARLY 70's to be specific ---  I was at U.Conn. from 1970 to 1974 and was subject to the Hippie >Movement< which is code for a Drug Using Sub-Culture , and of course the Anti- War Movement, a response to Viet Nam .   Normally I would shrug off such a consideration because of Because .   I'm no fan of Hippies, I'm like "Cartman" of "South Park" notoriety whose distaste for all things Hippie defines his Existence .   In my Mind, the Hippie Movement FAILED except for one HUGE component =  The War Protest , and THAT may be the "Saving Grace" of Hippiedom, and then again, it may NOT .

                                                           Elsewhere I have contended that if Obama HADN'T been elected there would be no trump .   I and Others, insist that the election of trump wasn't just a "backlash" it was a WHITE-LASH, meaning, at least HALF THE NATION went clinically BERSERK, when Obama was Elected---folks were INCENSED that a "nigger" `got into` Office and when trump "entered the scene"  they found their man--   >A< "man" who would serve their purposes, quite nicely .   Many DO NOT WANT ANY  connection between Obama's Election and that of trump ---I reject their rejection .

                           FROM OUT OF NOWHERE {it seemed} folks were "showing their TRUE colors", the colors of RAW HATRED and FURY .   They "came out of the woodwork" to vote for their man, a RASCIST, a White Supremacist, a Bigot, and a "man" whose HATRED of Women, especially STRONG Woman, {Strong BLACK Women} resonated with an entire generation of misfits and ne'er-do-wells, whose own weaknesses found mirror and echo in trump's .  Some say it was THIS hideous "Band of Indigents" who "turned" the Election over to trump and his .  It's tough to deny this 'charge' .

                                                           Let's not go too crazy over Obama, what he did, and didn't do, and his legacy .   Don't get me rwong* -----yet .   I like the guy. I like what he tried to do but I want to make sure "both sides" get 'heard' .   

                              He ran on ending the War in Afghanistan but the Mil told him there would be DISASTROUS Consequences, so he didn't .   As I just wrote, he focused on the ACA and to his credit, it 'went through' .  However the War `raged` and BILLIONS were spent in Afghanistan to build a society and culture that could be recognized as something of an American colony .   We know how THAT ended .

                              I need to remind my Gentle Readers that when putin INVADED Crimea Obama and his World Friends DID NOTHING but condemn putin in "the strongest terms" .   They handed Crimea 'over-to' putin ...no questions asked .   Within months putin marshalled troops along the Ukraine border, and STILL Obama and his World Friends stood by and did NOTHING .  We know how THAT ended .

                             As far as Obama's Nobel Peace Prize 'went', Obama had his finger on the "Kill" button and he pushed that Button HUNDREDS of times, KILLING 'perceived' Enemies , WITHOUT any Declaration of War, at least Any I can recall .   He was a Killer, albeit LEGALLY (and some would argue ILL -LEGALLY) which is NOT "a bad thing" {that's bullshit it IS a bad thing}, since we paid him for such hideously ugly "Wet Works" as the CIA is fond of using to describe "Black Ops" those where DEATH is the chosen form of action .

                                                           Yesterday there was an 'image' of trump wandering about the Group of G7 presidents .  The  image  was  broadcasted  at  least  once  an  hour  and  was  cause  of  poignant >Concern< .   Trump looked terrible .  He appeared  bloATED , he appeared to be shuffling about completely disoriented, and it appeared that ON ONE, >>>NOT ONE<<< was willing to offer even the slightest of conversation, NOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PRESENCE .  He was left to LITERALLY "Stand Alone" .   My Mind could see only one thing, The >>>SHUN<<< .   

                         Some of  my Gentle Readers are sure to know The Shun, that the Shun is a Passive Aggression on Amish STEROIDS , and that the SHUN is the Amish form of Catholic >Excommunication< , a disbarment from Religious Practice, and the abject REFUSAL to acknowledge the presence of those who have Violated Status Quo Orthodoxy .  Those that have been SHUNNED, tell of the HURT they experienced, they speak of a savage Isolation that must be endured, and the HORROR of being >Expelled< from the >Collective< .

                                                           Folks may remember the 1987 Flick, MAD MAX :  BEYOND THUNDERDOME .   Recall the "Master Blaster" a two entity MONSTER of whom the Master "RUNS" "Barter-town" and his Enforcer, Blaster, a GIANT .  Here we have a Biblical Story reworked to suit Futuristic Times .   The Blaster is Goliath and Max is a David who has a whistle that symbolizes David's sling and rock .  Remember that Barter-town FELL, and there was an Exodus type of Migration that had intentions of creating a NEW "Town" of Fairness and Equity, the complete OPPOSITE of Barter-town .

                      I suggest that trump is the Blaster, as trump with HIS mil seek to defend the Status Quo, while Max, now the WORLD seeks his Defeat .  Max LITERLLY becomes  WHISTLE BLOWER, {I mean TOOOO fucking GOOD} and that Whistle Blower, CHANGES the Status Quo for that most singular For-Ever .    

                     The "Whistle" has been blown, trump's GIGANTIA* has been BLOWN-UP and a NEW World Order MAY be the Result .   I insist, IT MUST BE A NEW WORLD ORDER and that NWO MUST be designed by US the REAL WORKERS of the Planet .

                                                           I refer my Gentle Readers to the term "latent rationality".  I LOVE this Concept, it (somehow) guarantees a Condition of Laws and Orders upon which the Universe is Structured .   One of these Laws is full of Fraught , it is ,  Nature's Essence is ALWAYS toward Mass Entropy, where Entropy is Chaos .   In a Universe of LAWS you'd wanna think that Entropy has NO >Place<  RWONG !!!   Here it is where "Life" seeks Life WHEREVER "IT" is available .   Mother Nature will FUCK any and EVERYTHING if She can, and does so with DIVINE Indiscrimination .   Does Mother Nature VIOLATE her own Laws of Nature, the Universe's Physics ?   Hardly, it just APPEARS that way .  Recall the Indian Monk Nagarjuna and his "We can know a thing by its opposite" . 

                         Clearly, when Laws are bro ken Chaos results .   We are living trump's >Breakage< and certainly CHAOS has resulted .   We can hear Mother Nature, "Behold my son trump, with whom I am well pleased" .   I insist, and MUST Insist, that the Voice of Kali, the Destructress, has been heard and her Actions experienced .   "IT" seems that the Odds against us are Insurmountable, 2 words :   they are NOT .

                                                           We can tag Events with "Hubris" and Nemesis" and observe the "Workings" of the gods and even appreciate the Concept of Synchronicity but what do we >>>DO<<< with all of that ????   What is the MEANING of "Meaningful Coincidence" .   I argue that there is a "Message" within those >constructs<,,, that the Universe is Calling us TO SEE SOMETHING OF GREAT IMPORTANCE .   In this Case, it is the True Nature of trump's MIND --- To SEE the trump's Open Cesspool as his MIND ,  a bit better to frame algae as SHIT, which we can then qualify as "trump's Mind is full of SHIT " .  But we AREADY knew that --- the Open Cesspool is a GIGANTIC Indicator FOR ALL TO SEE , not just an isolated few that has had contact with Dr. Jung .  The Open Cesspool is a "FUCK-UP" to which we can extrapolate =  trump is a FUCK-UP .   Alas, we knew THAT as well... so what ???

                          Safe to say that Understanding begets Peace of Mind --- we don't know and then we DO know .   Receiving answers to questions provides a form of Satisfaction, albeit momentarily,,, we still must devise a Strategy and Execute it, if Order is to Prevail, Peace resulting .   

                          Many have asked repeatedly, "WHY does trump do what he does?" in concert with "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HIM ?"   We can Know the answers but THAT still doesn't end him or his Reign of Terror .   

                           I must argue that Peace of Mind    May or MAY NOT   lead to "Contentment" .   Peace of Mind provides a Calm within which to 'operate' .   Indeed, in the execution of even the smallest tasks, the first 'thing' required is "Peace of Mind" .   Anger blinds, Fury injures .

Synchronicity

                                                            Is it a "coincidence" that the Reflecting Cesspool has "arrived" at this Time ?   The Great Dr. Carl Jung would insist, "No {fucking} Way" and he would refer us to his concept of "MEANINGFUL COINCIDENCE" which he tagged with "Synchronicity" .   Dr. Jung quotes Richard Wilhelm :

                                        "Reality, (...) is CONCEPTUALLY knowable because, according to the Chinese view, there is in all things a latent RATIONALITY .   This is the basic idea underlying  > meaningful coincidence <  :   it is possible because both sides have the same meaning .   Where meaning prevails, order results."

                       Then there's this supplement :

                            I want to believe that trump angered the Olympic Gods AND the Resident Gods that guard the Sanctity of the Lincoln Memorial .   Clearly, trump does NOT know the Word or concept of >>>Sacred<<< .   He's proven >that< over and over, again and again, time after time  ... .   

                            Can we now apply trump's SUPERIOR Ability to "fuck things uP" to Iran ????   How can we NOT ??????????    The Peoples of Iran were in an ACTIVE Revolt, they DID want to FIX `something` that was CLEARLY BROKEN , and trump argues that he Initiated the War to AID and ASSIST those very Peoples .   He was Lying, ain't nothin' new there but Now Iran is WORSE NOW MORE THAN EVER --- and by "Worse" I mean STRONGER and SMARTER .   Thanks donny boy, ya done good .

                                                           Presently, Iran maintains that the Strait of Hormuz IS "Open" but open only to traffic IT sanctions .   Ships HAVE passed through and I wonder why the American Blockade  did not stop these ships .

                               Trump wanted the Strait to be opened on his birthday  and an Agreement signed as well, Iran must have laffed* .   

                                Iran has demanded BILLIONS from trump, otherwise NO DEAL .   The word is "reparations" but for most of Knowing Onlookers, Iran is demanding SURRENDER .

                                                           There's NOTHING >Cave-Manish< about the Ancient Greeks valuing Boxing as a Discipline , but Hand-to-Hand Combat DOES have origin in Pre-History .  We can assume that there were roving bands of cave-dwellers that sought food and other "stuffs" and were inclined to "gather" these stuffs from cave-dwelling Others who sought to Protect what they had "worked" to accumulate .   Here it is where violence ensued, and "to the victor went the spoils".  It's Ugly, always is, always will be ,   but    eventually Civilization made its way to the Human Psyche bringing LANGUAGE with it and Language was then used as a Weapon AND a "Defense Mechanism" .   Humans Evolved .

                            I must argue that Boxing is a Discipline of WAR   AND    that "Self-Protection" is INSTINCTUAL {{{as it MUST BE}}} .   Now did Civilization and all its "Refinements" remove  HTH Combat from its Collective Psyche ?   I don't know how it could, and By Definition, because Self-Protection is INSTINCTUAL,  there was NO WAY to rid itself of this Instinct .

                                                           Whatever I write is-gonna 'sound' as if I am defending MMA and Boxing and all other Forms of Hand-to-Hand Combat, I'm not and I am at the exact same time .   In ALL the Martial Art Disciplines there is the REQUIREMENT to learn HOW to Fight, the Practice of the Forms (Kata in Japanese) is NOT enough to Advance in the Study, to gain --->Rank <--- and Rank here means Understanding,  {{{where  'Understanding'  leads to Wisdom}}} .   Why ???

                             There's "Theory" and then there's "Practice" .   What the Student has learned as Techniques MUST be "APPLIED" in Practice, which is the TEST of one's newly acquired Skills .   There MUST-BE these Tests, to see if the Techniques have been properly learned and retained, and therefore become INSTANTLY AVAILABLE should a Confrontation   arise .   I digress, please forgive an old man .

                          Where was I ?????

                           Most Folks don't have the "stomach" to watch either MMA fights nor Boxing matches---they can't bear watching men hit one another with concussive force, or strangle one another to the point of near asphyxiation --- to those without 'stomach' combat appears as VIOLENT, CRASS, BASE and  LOW, and of course SICKENINGLY SAVAGE .   THAT'S where trump "comes in" ---> SICKENINGLY SAVAGE .   I mean, I COULD use BARBARIC but that AIN'T enough, it's too `cultured` and trump "ain't got him no `Culture` " .

                                                           Anywhere from 1.7% to 25% of Americans know what the UFC is and watch its matches .    Trump is one of them as am I .    Keep in Mind that trump's desire to have MMA as part of his birthday IS a manifestation of his Psyche, as it is for ALL our Psyches .   Remember, he is us,,, we are him, it sucks, but it's unavoidable, and there is no escape .   

                            MMA is suppose to be Mixed Martial ---> Arts , but it is hardly an "Art" "Form" .   It's far more accurate to describe the hand-to-hand combat as Martial SPORT---although many consider Boxing as "The Sweet SCIENCE"---now THERE'S a 'tough one' .    Recall that Boxing was among the first Olympic `Events`, ---  it's been around as long as farming .   

                            Trump has been accused of desiring this MMA event because it reflects his Personality, to a degree, and Psychologically that is True .   It's simply BIZARRE that someone like trump BELIEVES that hand-to-hand combat is within his "Skill Set" --  that "IT" depicts his >toughness<  when we KNOW trump is as tough as a "wet paper bag" .   He's never fought, never been in a skirmish, never been in the Ring nor NEAR a Martial Arts Temple ----  he don't know SHIT about hand-to-hand combat except what he watches .   THAT only qualifies him as NORMAL .   

                           Is there a 'something else' that's "goin' on" ?   2 words :   maybe.

                                                           I have to execute several details this morning, so I am not going to continue save for providing a the title of a book  that will introduce my Gentle Readers to Islam :  it is Mohammedanism by H. A. R. Gibb .   It contains the relevant ESSENCES of Islam and it is written with BEAUTY .

                              Fear is combatted by Familiarity ,  I don't like it, but there it is .   We FEAR Something until we don't...  also  "The Human Condition" .   Obviously,  if we Confront Fear we also Confront Hatred .   "IT" takes Courage, and we KNOW how difficult it is to summon Courage ,  but Summon we must, if We are to advance toward Peace and weirdly Justice .

                                                          Yesterday I read a post on the made "Sense" .   A very enthusiastic American claimed that it was ISRAEL that 'downed' a U.S. helicopter, or "heelo" as Navy Seals have tagged it .   I sat back and thought, wow ... .    Trump and his NEVER supplied the Reasoning for attacking Iran, and that Reasoning remains a mystery, but that post {I gotta tell ya} it allowed for an Understanding that is, even at its most base, alluring, if not flat-out Seductive .   

                          It  ain't  "TRUMP'S WAR" at all----> it's NETANYAHU'S .   

                          There have been reports that netanyahu convinced trump to launch a half-scale Attack on Iran, "half-scale" because no Ground Troops were deployed .   Netanyahu saw an opportunity to "bomb the fuck out of Iran" with the goal to eliminate Iranian Threat, i.e., their Missile Capability, specifically .   But yesterday I was gripped by the feeling tat there HAD-TA-BE  something more, something ELSE and when the Epstein Files Debacle surfaced in American Broadcasting yet again, the Cosmic >"IT"< 'arrived'.   

                          I am a fan of "Conspiracy Theories" mainly because so much IMAGINATION is utilized, and I'm an "Imagination" kinda* guy .   I'm figurin' that netanyahu pressured trump into attacking Iran because netanyahu threatened trump with releasing all the SHIT the Israeli Intelligence "had" 'about trump and epstein .

                                                           I'm a 'word guy' and therefore a 'BOOK Guy'  but I KNOW reading books is not as "IT" once was ---  We, as in our Society, has now leaned toward a return to {believe it or not} the "ORAL TRADITION", meaning many of Us would rather LISTEN to readers than actually BEING a >Reader< --- "so it goes' .   I am reluctant to use my personal Library to influence my Gentle Readers ---it may be too self-indulgent .   I CAN "resort to" films, however, since they represent the "sugar" in "A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down" .   We can observe HOW and WHY individuals are the way they are in Hollywood Glamor that reeks of 'blue collar'  'empiricism' by viewing perhaps the Greatest Film of its Time, "Good Will Hunting"--- an Academy Award Winner of "Best Original Screenplay" by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon .   It's like the Bible, it has EVERYTHING inside .

                          Here we have Matt as "Will" ,  Ben as "Chuckie" and Minnie [Driver] as "Skylar' .   Matt is the one with the "Gift", Ben is strictly "Blue Collar" and Minnie is a "trust fund" rich-kid .    It's a small range of characters but they are all we need to inspect the Conditions of their Past as they relate to their Future .
