Thou SHALL Steal

                                                           There isn't even ONE PERSON who would disagree with the statement =  "It's easier to STEAL than to WORK" .  I mean, ya-gotta wonder :  HOW THE FUCK DID THAT    "GET THERE" ????    Here's the Answer straight up :   PRIMORDIAL INSTINCT .   I know, rite ?   Mithen insists that "Tactical Deception" is a part of the {Modern} Human Psyche, that it has survived Evolution, rather, it has advanced WITH Evolution and has never left Human Consciousness .  

                     Here's my favorite example of Tactical Deception =  I am a Cave Man hungry for food.  As I wander in my search I come upon a stash of let's say fruits and berries .  I gather them and return to my cave.   Next time I hunger I return to that location but instead of the pile of goodies I see a fellow Cave Man with his arms loaded with that Same .  I dare not advance upon him, that's too DANGEROUS, so I WAIT IN HIDING [Deception] while he drops his work and leaves to gather more .   Deception IS THE TACTIC to garner foodstuffs WITHOUT PERSOANL THREAT OF BODILY HARM NOR INJURY .   At this point that "IT" ain't Stealing AT ALL .   It's being EFFICIENT, TIME SAVING AND LABOR SAVING .   Saving one's Energy is VITAL to Evolution since when one does NOT have to "Hunt and Gather" one then becomes free to do other things, say 'work' a pelt or skin for clothing .   You can't miss this .  STEALING becomes a sort of "Prime Directive" {dare I posit PRIMAL Directive} .   

                   Mother Nature has a bit of WIT .

                                                           It is heartening to see that my Gentle Readers took the time to invest in yesterday's Example of the  I Ching  (pronounced YEE JING  where jing is sounded as the jing in jingle) .   For years I have struggled to find an appropriate Time and Place to introduce the I Ching or Book of Changes, but that has escaped actualization because the I Ching is MONSTROUSLY Esoteric --  ALMOST unavailable to us jus' reg'lar Folk .   

                        Still, I must leave said Introduction down,,,,,, something 'arrived' this morning during my prolonged "Mull Period" and I feel it Relevant to our ongoing Investigation of  Social Norms and the Individual Traits and Characteristics that define Modern Man = US .   What 'arrived' was "Tactical Deception" and its Source was `out of`  Steven Mithen's --- THE PREHISTORY OF THE MIND ----THE COGNITIVE ORIGINS OF ART, RELIGION AND SCIENCE .   His VOLUME  is a Classic Textbook and is written for a purely ACADEMIC "audience" ,  so SUPER-Technical shit is the "Fore" of each and every page, meaning, he acknowledges the foundational works of SUPER-BRAINED Others as he provides HIS explanations, descriptions and theories .   I KNOW Others will consider such Science dreadfully boring, flat, dry and an Intellectual TRUDGE .   I am  NOT "one of those" but I DO caution my Gentle Readers and for that matter EVERYONE who "picks up" this Work, to be PATIENT ,   take his work in "small bites" so it can be chewed properly and swallowed without choking .   This Text ain't for 'sissies' .

                         Can you see IT ?   "By their Creator"...  so what if you DO NOT BELIEVE IN ANY 'CREATOR', you DON'T BELIEVE in God or ANY God ?    Does that then NULLIFY those "Unalienable Rights" ???    Logic dictates YES .   Hello conservatives .

                         What about the so-called "Right to Life" ?   Conservative argue that even Life on the CELLULAR LEVEL is also within the "Right to Life" .    Pragmatically, there is the question of "Does that Right to Live involve the Right to PLUNDER (as conservatives view it)  the wealth of a fellow Citizen ?   

                        Here it is were Democracy is none-other than THE WILL OF THE CREATOR .   No Creator, No Democracy .  {The Truth of} Logic can be abusively PUNISHING .

                                                           Democracy has "Genetic Flaws" {Flaws is gentler than DEFECTS} that, despite their presence, still regulate Growth and Development .   One of the Responsibilities of Democracy is the "Redistribution of Wealth", the MANDATE to >use< Taxes TO BENEFIT the Society and Culture of ALL Americans .   But there are PROBLEMS, are there not ALWAYS Problems ???    Taxes are Collected NOT from "All Men are created EQUAL" but from the POOREST and the Modest, >>>ONLY<<< providing an un-needed reprieve to the filthy rich, and squalor wealthy as well as corporations (Romney :  "Corporations are PEOPLE")   and industries whose profits are extended to that same caste of Filth and Squalor .    Here it is where EXISTING TRUTH is summarily DISMISSED, and "the Rich get Richer" is the Result of both BLATANT and EGREGIOUS Political and GOVERNMENTAL Malfeasance .   

                             When conservatives enflame,  "The Government should stay out of OUR [personal] Wealth", what they MEAN is this ;   Redistribution of Wealth should NOT include >>>MY <<< wealth .   Here it is where Taxation is considered THEFT .   That "IT" looks like this .   A man acquires wealth and another POOR man MUST HAVE ACCESS to that Wealth AS THE LAW DEMANDS .   Conservatives are "beside themselves in Rage and Fury"  they bellow IT'S NOT FAIR, and on an INSTINCTUAL LEVEL that "IT" is, IN FACT, Un-Fair .   But here's the Deal, Taxes MUST BE PAID BECAUSE >THAT< IS THE "AMERICAN WAY" .   Democracy CANNOT EXIST without Taxation .   When you are Born in America YOU ARE BORN INTO TAXATION .   You wanna Believe that "WHEN EVERYBODY PAYS, EVERYBODY >>>WINS<<<" .   I mean, you'd think .

Cost for Living

                                                           Most of Us reside in the "Lower Realm" ---> "paycheck to paycheck" Existence of >>>>>SUBSISTENCE ["the act of providing sustenance,,  often the BAREST means in terms of food, clothing and shelter needed to sustain life"] .    We sometimes hear of Good, Honest and DECENT Folks who are, literally, "just getting by"  --->  those of 'Us' Folk who, when "On Vacation", look for another source of work to ACTUALLY Supplement an Income that MUST BE Considered both Scant and PALTRY .   I contend that it is THESE FOLKS who have MORE-THAN a "Vested Interest" in removing trump from Office, since for Them and others like Them , Every Single Day is "Life and Death", meaning, the Struggle that appears as BATTLE for Life requires, nay DEMANDS,  >>>UNEMITTING SACRIFICE<<< just to "Stay Alive" .   I depict this Condition as a "tight-rope walker" who must Balance the purchase of Life's Necessities with the "kitchen-table" and "pocketbook" finances that CANNOT POSSIBLY accommodate even a 'subsistence' level of   'Expenditure' .

                                                           You have these mornings where thoughts are like a tangled mess of wet tinder, damp kindling, a pile of seemingly saturated sticks and branches that are too soaked to be burned and the only thing you can do is wait for the whole mess to dry .    Even then, you're  still gonna need that 'spark' to ignite everything, the so-called "first sentence".   

                                  Last night it 'surfaced' that I should "Call Out" the American Psychiatric Association (APA) for their Political (get this) Dis-Association from the Reality of trump's MENTAL ILLNESS, Dotardary* [Dotard-ism],  Addlepated Brain, and CHRONIC Megalomania (the Result of "Malignant Narcissism") .   I envisioned a 'something' along the order of a "Papal BULL",  a unified Statement of the Present Condition of the P.O.T.U.S. that categorizes his "Illnesses" that would prevent and/or disqualify ANY OTHER HUMAN BEING from 'holding' such a 'Position' of GLOBAL SUPERIORITY .    

                                 We can conclude that they are as the Others, safe and secure WAAAAAY Beyond even the threat of Trumpism and its ongoing Demolition of what was once American Democracy .   Like EVERBODY ELSE--they must consider themselves "Above the Fray" , and are {Tragically} UN-WILLING to enter the War Theater as Warrior Activists .   Just like Pro-Athletes, they don't-wanna "Rock the boat", that is, Interrupt the Political Machinations of the Status Quo with Effort that STATES THE TRUTH OF TRUMP'S MONUMENTAL {MON-U- MENTAL} >>>FAILURE<<< to comply with the Constitution and Its Amendments .

                                                           The French Revolution 'lasted' some TEN YEARS, the American Revolution did only slightly better, with a duration of  EIGHT YEARS (from 1775 to 1783) .    For commentary purposes I think we can safely determine that the start of the NU American Revolution began with trump's first Inauguration .  Currently, we exist in "ITS" nascence .   I consider the Revolution CHRONICALLY under-developed with SPECTACULAR Evidence that it is not only De-formed but egregiously DEFECTIVE .   What the Revolution needs MOST is an infusion of COURAGE !!   Question is, from where is this much needed Courage to come ??????

                               Perhaps the Better Question is "How are Folks to overcome their Fears ?"   How is Fear overcome in general ???   Yup, that's certainly Better .   

                                Sage Counsel insists that Fear can be combatted by first Recognition, second by Identification which then leads to (third) Familiarity, and ultimately (fourth) Confrontation .   Here it is where Fear CAN BE NEUTRALIZED .   Familiarity begets Strength,  You know what something IS, and become Aware OF ITS LIMITITAIONS, where Limitations introduce WEAKNESSES  that can be Exploited for GAIN .

                                                            Yesterday I was 'on' a Fury "Bender", which most definitely resembles a "Dry Drunk" .   Today may be no different .   I Rage against American Institutions, Academia among them, that steadfastly REFUSE to "Join the Fight" against trump's Pro-Fascism Agenda, a something that 'troubles' me to the point where I am verklempt .   (Verklempt is a Yiddish word 'for'  overcome with emotion, depressed, grieving, and choked-up) .  I use verklempt because it's fucking CIVILIZED, meaning it is camouflage for INSANE,  CRAZY, MENTALLY ILL, and OUT OF MIND .  I hazard to add OUT OF CONTROL .    I'm a Sick old man .

                           I have asked, WHERE IS THE STUDENT REVOLT ?   WHY AREN'T THEY PROTESTING EVERY FU7CKING DAY as my Generation Protested ?   I have been gently admonished with, "the World is a different place now" -- entirely UN-ACCEPTABLE .

                                                           I feel compelled to apologize to the World for American FAILURE .   Yesterday Americans were informed that its Highest Court, the Supreme Court, sided with the MOST CORRUPT GOVERNMENT AMERICA HAS EVER KNOWN, to allow the confiscation of Election Ballots and Records, as well as the names of those who volunteered and managed those Elections .   Make no mistake here, the scotus decision "broke the back" of the Effort to maintain singular [State] control over the election mechanics .    "IT" was an ENORMOUS SET-BACK for what use-to-be American Democracy .    Not only was it "back breaking' it was, for many of "me's" bone CRUSHING .   

                           I awoke this morning dreading today's 'Delivery' .   Most mornings I awaken "with the Blues" as the "Allman Brothers" lyric,  the sensation of doldrums beating on my Heart, an overarching Sadness that clouds my Mind, obscures the Intellect, and stymies Creativity ~~~~~~~~~~ .

                                                           I wish I could use "Constant Craving" as a term and apply it to the filthy rich and squalor wealthy, I cannot .  We use >craving< to describe a physical sensation that DEMANDS attention .   Examples abound .   Generally it is the BODY that "Craves", meaning, there is probably some nutrient that the Body NEEDS for either repair or proper maintenance and this Craving CAN BE  Neutralized by whatever foodstuffs the Craving has identified .   Here it is were Craving must be (wait for it)  INSTINCTUAL and NOT derived from Emotion or Spirituality .   Thus, we CANNOT apply Constant Craving to describe the Excesses of the filthy rich and squalor wealthy .  It's-gotta be something else .   

                         Children of "Para-Parents" only Know "Caring" in all its material forms and formulations, here it is where their Identity IS the DIRECT Result of the Acquisition of Material Things .   Indeed,,, The Acquisition of Things is HOW their Ego's DEFINE THEIR EXISTENCE .   "IT" looks like this :  "We ARE  what we own" .    Trump points to a fucking BUILDING and boasts "That's ME" .   His DELUSION is OUR -----> Suffering .   It's a direct translation .  So it is with the filthy rich and squalor wealthy .

Para Parenting

                                                           Super-rich parents DO NOT "Raise" their children in ways that  WE consider "normal" [NATURAL] .   Rich kids have nannies and nurses and the like, SERVANTS for the  most part, so there is a GULF between the adults and their offspring .   When they are old enough, at around the age for 6th Grade,  they are sent to boarding school and then to Prep Schools to be Educated AWAY FROM US COMMON AND DECENT FOLK  to live among their filthy rich and squalor wealthy peers .   I contend, that TRUE "Parental Love" is denied them .   They aren't "given" the NATURAL LOVE that is pre-requisite for a HEALTHY and BALANCED Individual, and instead merely SUPPLIED with a "Caring" that manifests as, "Whatever you want you get BECAUSE MONEY IS NO OBJECT", it doesn't matter what the cost of an item is,  because money is LIMITLESS .

                            I am NOT 'defending' the rich, I mean, shit, there IS no defense .   I  mean to offer a perspective based on COMMON SENSE--- the Common Sense that views Natural parenting as producing NATURAL Children .   We LIVE the results of ARTIFICIAL parenting, look at what America has become RITE NOW .    The filthy rich and squalor wealthy OWN THE COUNTRY and treat the rest of Us as SLAVES and SERVANTS .   They do so because their parents did so .   The Cycle is endless and self-perpetuating .   Referring to the Cycle as Un-Natural is to be Kind and GENEROUS .    The Cycle produces a Form of  Autism but this Autism manifests as Greed, Contempt, Scorn and Revulsion for Us, the General Populace, who they view as pests, diseases, and PARASITES .   I mean WTF, WHY ON EARTH SHOLD THEY PAY TAXES  TO KEEP >>>>>>>>PARASITES<<<<<<< ALIVE  ?    

Un-Natural Thing

                                                          For years I have been trying to figure-out why {"filthy"} rich people are so fucking fucked-up .   Why do they HATE paying Taxes ?  Why can't they SHARE ?     Why are their 'needs' never met ?  Why is their Greed and Avarice SOOOOO >>> Insatiable<<< ?   

                              I've figured it out .

                              Last night I got onto my downstairs bed to do my stretches and relax my spinal column .   I had loaded the Doobie Brothers'  "The Captain and Me" and the first tract of "Natural Thing" opened with the words' "We all need to be loved"... .    Now I've listened to this Album some 167,478 times, and it has NEVER disappointed ,  it is CLASSIC California Rhythm that rivals the Beach Boys at certain points .   Just as there is "Comfort Food",, there is Comfort Music as well, and I can NEVER "over-indulge" consuming this Comfort .   Then,,,,,,,,,,, "IT" 'arrived'. It being the Answer to the questions I listed above .

                             "We all need to be Loved"... there it was right in front of me for so many years                --->Love<--- .   And now here we go =  I contend that rich people don't know what Love is---so they don't know HOW to Love .  Indeed, they think that their 'Love for MONEY' is GREATER THAN Our Love for one another .    "IT" made Sense .   

                             Here's one :   I'm figurin' they don't share their wealth BECAUSE IT LITERALLY HURTS them to do so .  Same with paying Taxes---   Same with SHARING --- they can't do it, {among other things} "IT" is just too PAINFUL .

                                                          There's a terrific passage in The Autobiography of Malcolm X in which Malcolm describes sitting around with his buddies, smoking Weed, and "Solving the World's Problems" which was SOOO GODDAMN INTERESTING" they decided to STOP SMOKING POT .   Gaud* I FUCKING LOVE THIS !!!    In one class Mrs. Cowden described the "Founding Fathers" as WORKERS who, after a day "in the fields" got to the local "Watering Hole" [tavern by any other name] and sat around swilling beer, and discussing the "What If's" of a new form of government .   You can see it rite ?

                            Believe me when I tell you I had only DISGUST for these "founding fathers" who I perceived as "Boston Fancies", ne'er-do-wells dressed in Shakespearean costumes, "Making Believe" they were Farmers .   Mrs. Cowden assured Us >>  'NO AND FUCK NO' ,  these guys actually WORKED and WORKED HARD at Existence, WITHOUT Abandoning their Educational Background .   Because of her Insistence, I came to see >myself< as, (get this) one of Them .   My parents were both "Blue Collar", my father got to 11th grade, my mother was taken out after 6th .   They also WORKED INSANELY HARD but had NO Education .   Now here I was, intimate with Hard Work, but residing in Academia .

                                                           I contend that a 'Return to Truth' is necessary for a Return to Virtue and  other  Noble Attributes---the question arises, 'HOW are we to Return to Truth, where >How< is 'by what means' ? .   

                               I confess, I had   NO LOVE for "American History", not in Grade School, not in Junior High, nor High School , but I was FORCED to take American History in college , and fortunately, I took Mrs. Cowden's American History Class, a Class I never "cut" .

                              She was Beautiful .   She was a glasses wearing Brunette, ALWAYS attired in the most recent PROFESSIONAL Fashion, and she ALWAYS wore high heels .   She was statuesque and COMMANDING .  Thing is, she had a GREAT    >Voice<,    easy to listen to ---MELLIFLUOUS as they say---plus, she'd just had a Text published and it was part of our Instruction .  She was "ALL THAT" and then some .   Somehow, she "made" American History >>>>>>>>not just Interesting but INTENSELY Interesting,  a SOMETHING only GREAT TEACHERS can accomplish .    Every Class was FILLED,  every desk/chair always occupied .    We LOVED her .

                               I supply her "Reading List" because it expresses "bona fides" ;   The Structure of American History,  The Huron--Farmers of the North,   The Era of Reconstruction--1865 to 1877,  The Birth of the Republic 1763 to 1789,  Myths and Realities - Societies of the Colonial South, The Jacksonian Persuasion,  and her {Magnificent Beauty} Slavery In America which was co-authored by Richard O.                           Although Confucius is NOT "Bill Nye the Science Guy" and it is unlikely that Confucius had an interest in natural Electricity, he remains the preeminent Authority of the Social Graces, Traditions and Customs of a SUPER-GREAT Empire .   Ben IS,,  on the other hand,,,,  a Pre "Bill Nye the Science Guy" and CIVILIZATION IS THE GREATER FOR IT .  But what makes Ben so HUMANLY MONUMENTAL is his Writings, the pith and stark of NATURAL WISDOM that results from the Observation of Social & Cultural Conditions , and his Ability to set them forth, as though releasing an apiary of bees to fertilize the flora of an Intellectual Landscape .

The Coping Cop

                                                          I have devoted This Week to Kiddie Lit, Wisdom of the Ages, American Mythologies and America Folk Lore because of  "In times of War, Prepare for Peace", and the role of Education in determining American Intellection*, a disguise for the American Mind [of the American Body Politic] .   I am concerned  that Writing about War and its GROTESQUE Negativity each and every day is, literally, >grating< :   it 'grates' Our nerves until they are raw, torn and bleeding .    We must never try and escape the Reality of War but a 24-7 unremitting display of "Horror upon Horror" is MONSTROUSLY DISASTROUS because it is SOOOO SICKENING .    I find it NECESSARY to advance Forms of Coping, and to uncover Coping Mechanisms be they Ancient or Modern .   A HEALTHY Warrior is BALANCED, and thus is able to maintain a Correct Mind which then Directs CORRECT ACTION .   "Clear Mind --  Clear Action" .

                                                           I am FREAKING OUT .   I just finished my Recitations and was trying to decide a topic that was suitable for today's Effort ... I sat in "Chairy-Chair" at Mull .   Some days there are lags of Time where my Mind has "stalled" but in a GOOD way .   Today, out of nowhere, a thought arrived that surprised me =  I thought that if I had Poor Richard's Almanac I could quote from it to express American Wisdom,  that of my Guy Benjamin Franklin .   "Just like the Gypsy Queen" my Mind began to "roam".   Where the fuck was I gonna get hold of Poor Richard and his Words of Wisdom ?    I wandered and wondered ...................... .

                               I recalled I had procured {{GOD I LOVE THAT WORD}} a VOLUME simply titled FRANKLIN    Writings .    I removed it from the shelf and  `took a look` .   The Book is a True VOLUME, it contains 1,470 pages of Text and 135 pages of  Notes, the Index and a detailed Chronology ,,, but did it contain the complete "Almanac" ?    I sifted the pages -got to near the end and I saw a page header , "Poor Richard" ,  I splayed the book and found a "title page" -- there it was  "POOR RICHARD'S ALMANAC" 1733 - 1758  !!!!   Holy Kite Flying Cow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I inwardly EXALTED !!!!!!!!!!!!

                            I perused a few pages and DISCOVERED that I write "just like" Ben .   My use of CAPITAL LETTERS, I know to be "against the grain" of Punctuation & Grammar, is to enhance and focus my Gentle Readers attention to specific words or wordings .   I determined long ago that I would make my pages "look like" pages from 16th and 17th scripts, what with all that flowery calligraphy and CAPITAL LETTERS that seem "out of place" and even incongruent .   I just loved "the look" .  Now guess who indiscriminately uses CAPITAL LETTERS as a "Style Preference".   Yup  ---> Ben .

Miss Understand

                                                           I have two shelves, some FIVE FEET of Children's Literature I once believed I would analyze and >amend< in my Retirement Years .   At one point I wanted to "Retire in Teaching" but THAT "didn't work out"--- my Jeep "shit the bed" and Finances forced me to take a "Different Path" .  There was no way for me to "see the Future" and for sure WAR and trump did not 'occur' in ANY Thinking--- I TRUSTED "America" and OBVIOUSLY this Trust was SEVERELY and SAVAGELY Violated .   I mean "That's Life" ----------rite ?

                       Speaking of "Severe" -- I am deeply and SEVERELY Interested in Quantum Mechanics and although I SUCK at IT. I LOVE IT INTO INFINITY AND BEYOND .   I have taken it upon myself to "Science-ize" Mahayana Buddhism in such a way as to reveal the Parallels that {I Think} exist between the Two .   I want to "make" Mahayana Buddhism to be a Science of SPIRITUAL Physics, thereby registering IT as WHOLEY ACCEPTBLE to both the Scientific Community and the General Public .   

                       I contend that Kiddie Lit is Quantum Mechanical, meaning, the Stories, Fables and Tales "ACT" as do Infinitesimal Particles that exist and DO NOT EXIST at the exact same Time, but are registered as REAL because MATHEMATICS is "Applied" .   I contend that these Stories, Fables and Tales are embedded in in Our Unconscious and that they are the Promptings that regulate our Consciousness in day-to-day Activities .   They are the Foundations of Decisions, meaning, when we are forced to decide ANY 'something' these "Agents" are what we experience BEFORE we make a Decision.

                                                          There's the Story of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears", a Traditional CLASSIC .   The ENORIMITY and MAGNITUDE of the Story reached INTERSTELLAR Intensity, as other planets were considered to be in "The Goldilocks Zone", the Zone of "Just Right-ness" .   I mean I get that, WE ALL >GET< THAT but I struggle with Goldilocks {{{FOOLS'GOLDILOCKS}}} because she broke so many "common laws" two of which were BREAKING & ENTERING and STEALING PORRIDGE .   Goldilocks aint lookn' too GOOD here .   Shouldn't she have been ARRESTED for "B & E" and "Commodities THEFT" ?    

                          This THIS is the COLLOSAL POWER of "Children's Literature' {fondly nicknamed 'Kiddie Lit'} .   Here it is where I argue that the FIRST >Step< in "the Right Direction" is for a "Reformation" in Children's Literature where Reformation is Re-Form-ation .   Kiddie Lit must be RE-FORMED to establish and maintain Correct Ideation, where 'Correct' has COMMON SENSE as its Foundation .    Here it is where Goldilocks SHOULD HAVE KNOCKED FIRST and when there was NO Reply, simply gone about her business without further insistence .   Here it is where "All's Well that BEGINS Well" and NOT "All's well that ENDS well" should be the [ Aesop]  "Moral of the Story".

                                                          My GREATEST CONCERN is Present Day Education, which is the Result of the Status Quo's GRAVITY  and the American Educational PAST, that is its Foundation .    America in the Educational Sense, has manufactured both GOOD and  BAD "individuals" who have contributed to the General Well-Being and UNIVERSAL Suffering that have been both Blessing and CURSE to the American Public and dare I say THE WORLD .    The Education SYSTEM has been modestly SUCCESSFUL and punishingly Destructive AT THE SAME TIME .   "IT" is as if "the Wheat" was NEVER "Separated from the Chaff " .   And quite honestly, THAT WAS NEVER THE GOAL OF EDUCATION IN THE FIRST PLACE .   Education, itself, has stock Allegiance to Democracy from which it has evolved ; and this Democracy issued a Prime Directive that "All men are created EQUAL" an IDEAL that ABJECTLY DEFIES >>>THE REALITY OF HUMAN EXISTENCE<<< the one where COMMON SENSE >>>>>>>>>>IMPLORES<<<<<<<<<< that "We are NOT Equal" .  

                      You can see it rite ?   "Out of the gate" we are told a LIE .   Here it is where an UN-TRUTH is registered as TRUTH ,  a Truth, we  NOW  KNOW is UNSUSTAINABLE, and worse, CATACLYSMAL --- to the Point where Truth has become NEARLY EXTINCT .

                                                           With Regard to 'Preparing for Peace'  no one can deny the ABJECT NECESSITY for the Scrutiny of 'what is broken', and the Abject NECESSITY to Question what can be Salvaged from the Broken and what must be discarded .   The Scrutiny and Questioning MUST BE EXHAUSTIVE, meaning, Studies of existing problems AND THEIR SOLUTIONS must be UNREMITTING , until the Questions are Reasonable if not flat-out LOGICAL and the Answers- the Solutions- are supplied as VIABLE and SUSTAINABLE .   Here it is where We must avoid "Putting a 'Band-Aid' on a bleeding artery", and mistaking "Fools' Gold" for the "Real Thing" .  

                             Recall that the "Protestant Reformation" 'lasted' some ONE HUNDRED THIRTY YEARS !   Here it is where the True Nature of the "Status Quo" exerts a GRAVITY-LIKE "Hold" on Mind Consciousness, which then manifests as both Spiritual and Political TURMOIL , where Turmoil includes Emotional CHAOS , and Nationalist FERVOR .

                                                           Yesterday, I used a colloquialism that I tagged as 'ancient Wisdom' .   Today's topic, employs that same discretion .   I insist, "There's GOLD in them-there hills", where Gold is Ancient Wisdom, and the 'hills' are the Ancients themselves .   HOWEVER,,  in the same way that there is Gold in those hills, so it is that FOOL'S GOLD is also ever-present .   I mean, they call it FOOL'S GOLD for a Reason, it looks like Gold, and FEELS like Gold but it is NOT,  [and] as such, it is MONSTERLY* Deceptive, and the source of GREAT Suffering and Despair .

                          "ANYbody can be President of the United States" is the example, that for me, is the QUINTESSENTIAL Essence of >>>FOOL'S GOLD<<< and I argue that >IT< must be stricken from the Annals of American Folk Lore {{{Folk LAW}}} FOR ALL TIME .  Look at what trump has done, and remember what Bush-the -Stupid did to American Manufacturing, the INESTIMABLE LOSS of MILLIONS OF JOBS which will NEVER Return !!!!   Bush the Stupid once boasted, that he was PROOF that a "C-" student could become President of the United States .

                                                           We have heard, [been taught] that "In times of Peace" we should "Prepare for War", but rarely have we heard that statement in its entirety =  "In times of War, Prepare for Peace " .    It MAY be stated that the Planet, OUR Planet, is experiencing Changes, that are both Physical and Political .   Unfortunately these Changes are  NOT "for the Better", indeed, quite the opposite .   America and Iran have a 'Strangle-hold' on NEEDED, 'High Value' Commodities that are ESSENTIAL for MANY Nations, of the First, Second and Third World .   Political pundits, BIG Brains, SUPER-Brains and SUPER-BIG Brains have warned us that this "Mexican Stand-Off" ,  Stalemate, to be polite, will have --->  Duration, meaning, there is NO END in sight, and ANY "Vision" to "Break" the "Hold" of War "Siege" remains in some seemingly Distant Future .   What are we to "DO" during this near CATASTOPHIC "Phase" of Present Day Geo-Political Paralysis ???   Good question .  Indeed what CAN we do ???  Here it is where we turn to the first sentence of this blog =  ..."In times of War, Prepare for Peace",  what does THAT "look like" ???

                                                          For weeks now I have been struggling to make a decision about whether or not to write a blog about an ANCIENT Farmer's WISDOM which is

                         I and mine 'grew-up' with this  cynical quip, which never made any sense until we got older and had some familiarity ---> which then led to Experience .   It SEEMS like "Common  Sense", and worse 'it' was taken for granted as being "Self-Evident" ---which doesn't make any Sense either .   

                        Ya see something that's running just fine, but instead of leaving it alone, you have an eye to make it better, to IMPROVE it, so you marshal whatever and whichever tools you may need and with enthusiasm begin to "tinker around" until you are satisfied your effort will prove productive .    BUT  once you test what you have "improved" you kwikly* learn that your "effort" has RUINED what was running PERFECTLY  AND NOW YOU ARE FUCKED SIDEWAYS TO SUNDAY .    REGRET overwhelms you and you WAIL  WHY THE FUCK DID I TOUCH THIS TO BEGIN WITH ????????????  It doesn't matter that you had "Good Intentions".   Good Intentions led to DISASTROUS  RESULTS .   We can conclude only that "Good Intentions" are NOT ---> Good,  they are QUESTIONABLE .   This THIS indicates that WE SHOULD HAVE 'THOUGHT THROUGH'  THOSE INTENTIONS    FIRST .

The Dark Rages

                                                           Some Time Ago I insinuated that trump's "Move" to Mar-a-Lago was similar to Constantine's move to Byzantium in 330 A.D., where the Byzantine Byzantine Empire began .   I may have been a little too Academically aggressive, it was a s-t--r---e----c-----h, like 'for sure', but I wanted to impress upon my Gentle Readers that there was Historical Evidence that was REGISTER for trump's "Move" .    Barbarians had "Overcome" Roman Supremacy and Constantine wanted none of it.  Constantine abandoned Rome like a Neandertal abandoning a shit-filled cave .   

                         Constantine did manage to retain a few 'semblances' of Roman Civilization, and sought to establish an Empire, of his own making, WHICH HE DID .   But what did he leave in his wake ????   He 'left' Rome in 330 and the Beginning of the Dark Ages was said to have begun in 500 and last for FIVE CENTURIES .   Trump is no Constantine , but we are LIVING his Revilement for Modernity .   Can we now assign to trump the 'tag'  `INITIATOR of the American Dark Age`  ????    I Believe  We MUST !  

                         It is safe to say that Byzantium did NOT Suffer what was to be Europe's Dark Ages,  but the Suffering of Western Civilization was UNTOLD .   NO 'Advancements' were Recorded, indeed, the Peoples Suffered, and SUFFERED GREATLY .  

                         What was to become "Asia Minor" flourished, meaning, Trade and Commerce and FOREIGN IDEAS became "everyday shit" , which is to say that Good Folks EVERYWHERE "enjoyed" products and items whose origin could be as far away as Middle and Lower AFRICA .   

                         We have observed trump's Empiric Ambitions -- Greenland, Panama, Venezuela, and now Iran .   As I just mentioned above  HE AINT NO FUCKING CONSTANTINE ---> BUT <---  Just as the World "moved on" without Rome as Center of the Universe, so it must be for OUR "Present Day World" .   

                           It was THE WORLD that stopped Hitler, so it must be for trump .

                                                           It's been observed and reported that the opening of the Strait of Hormuz is dependent upon >how much Suffering< ,   the Peoples of Iran and American can endure .   We have been told that the IRGC [Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps] does NOT "Give a SHIT" about the Suffering of Iranians,,  and to this we MUST add IT IS THE SAME FOR TRUMP .   From this we are FORCED TO CONCLUDE that the War ---> WILL GO ON INDEFINITELY unless and until THE WORLD "Steps In" to NEUTRALIZE both the IRGC, and TRUMP .   Now, EXACTLY  HOW THE FUCK IS THAT GONNA HAPPEN ??????? .    "Surrender" has been the ONLY --->Solution proffered by the BIG and SUPER-BIG Brains, who appear just as flummoxed as the Rest of Us 'mere' Mortals .   But which nation is likely to Surrender ?    It's "Out Of The Question" for the IRGC , and, based on trump's Past, it is utterly RIDICULOUS to think he will "ADMIT FAILURE" and withdraw American Forces .

Hungary

                                                           Nicole Wallace asked directed this question to one of her guests :  "Should we look to Hungary for guidance ?"    Keep in Mind that Orban was in Power for SIXTEEN FUCKING YEARS ---------------- THAT'S how long the Hungarians Protested -----------how long as trump been in Power ???   Ya-gotta ask, `Do Americans have that kind of "Staying Power" `  ???

                          The 'deal' with Hungarians is this :   They Protested EVERY WEEKEND WITHOUT FAIL .   They were "In it" "Long Term" ---> LITERALLY until they Defeated him .   Are Americans that "Long Term" Invested ?    

                           My Generation Protested against the War in Vietnam, and did so ON A DAILY BASIS , but the Protests themselves were partially confined to College and University campuses and Student Unions, but, at least on the U.Conn. Campus, it was, in fact, EVERY WEEKEND .   

                            When this 'duration' is examined we find that Protesting became (get this) A WAY OF LIFE, meaning, it was as NATURAL to Protest as it was to brush one's teeth, IT WAS DONE WITHOUT THINKING, in other words, It was done as "2nd Nature" .   

                             Does the American General Public have such a Commitment ?   Ya-gotta wonder .

                                                          I must save the discussion of "Mysticism" for a later date .   There's the term "Mystical Experience" which can be ANYTHING from a "sex act" to moving a 2 ton boulder a quarter of an inch .   Personally I find the Practice of Zen a ~Mystical Experience~ ... how is it that "Dried Shit on a Shovel" can BE a manifestation of Mysticism is a question for QUANTUM Zen where Quantum Zen is the Quantum Mechanical Aspect of the Physics of Buddhism, a book still in the Planning Stages .   

                         At some point I MUST include >Truth< in the Global Code .   To date I have been somewhat satisfied with referring to Ancient Kung Fu Masters as "Defenders of the Truth" , but that is problematical in that Truth, like Beauty, is "in the eye of the beholder", and besides THAT, Truth, itself, is RELATIVE .   

                        I've gone to the Extreme :   Where most folks want to   "Live the Truth" I want to BE the Truth .   You can see the Problem ... .

                         'Recognize'  looks like this :    "Something is up" or, "Something doesn't look or FEEL Right" .    This This is vital to our GENERAL Development since Social Interaction appears as INSTINCTUAL NECESSITY  --- we have been taught that Humankind is a "Herd"--- that we have what is known as a "Herd Mentality", in other words, we do WELL in groups,  it is NATURAL to seek out Others either formally or informally .   It's INSTINCTUAL  to "Live together" .   Indeed, "Together Action" DEFINES Civilization .   It may be said that Evolution DEMANDS >Co-Operation< in order for Civilization to "Advance" {toward Perfection} .  

                      Here it is where 'Instinctual Behavior' carries with it "The Law(s) of the Jungle" --  to adhere to these Laws is to define one's self as Barbaric, i.e., Crude, Lewd and Rude .   To be "Civilized" is to have "Refinement" and "Sophistication" in both physical conduct and mental faculty .   It's difficult to tag one as "ugly" and the other as 'beautiful' , BUT ..........  .

                         We speak of "The MIRACLE of Birth" but rarely is that followed by >The MIRACLE of Life< .   To Live the Miracle of Life is to be ever-Mindful that Life has been "Given" to us and that this Life is SACRED and by being SACRED the UTMOST Respect for Life and for those Others that Live among Us is absolutely ESSENTIAL for one's Spiritual Development .   Remember, the Evolutionary Trajectory of EVERY HUMAN BEING is ALWAYS toward "Perfection" .  Here it is where Buddhists and Zen Buddhists alike identify 'Perfection' as Enlightenment .   Does this THIS mean I WANT the entire Planet to be Buddhist ????   Another "Good one" .   2 words :  Unrealistic .

                         I have queried my Gentle Readers, Would you rather Live in Beauty or reside in Ugliness [?] .    It looks like a "no brainer" but I KNOW good folk struggle with this because who's to say what is Beautiful and what is Ugly ???    We are handcuffed and shackled by "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and that is adequate to establish Reality as far as it goes .    I will contend that the Miracle itself IS >Ultimate Beauty< .   Keep in Mind that, Beauty in Humans is reflective of HEALTH .    A beautiful woman and a beautiful man are perceived as INTENSELY  Healthy and as such, are GREATLY DESIRABLE, indeed, we sometimes find ourselves WORSHIPPING those who are BEAUTIFUL, to a FAULT, I must add .

                         The Nature of this Devotion must be given Attention .  This Devotion is NOT to a Belief, but rather to the Beings and Entities that inhabit the Earth .   The Miracle of Life for THEM is the same as the Miracle of Life for US --- in this,,, WE ARE EQUALS.  

Miss Conduct

                                                           An example of a "Code of Conduct" comes from the First Five Precepts that Buddhists and Zen Buddhists employ to aid in navigating Public and PRIVATE exposure to the General Public and one's own Mind .  Here they are :

                           There is a Ceremony for those that wish to Accept these Precepts as Core Components of an Individual's Spiritual Refinement .    Chants are recited followed by the Zen Master's 'burning' of a small point on the Student's forearm, this is done by touching a lit incense stick to the area, which produces a noticeable scar/dot, identifying the Student as a "Devout" .  

                           Kwik* aside :    If you want to declare yourself a Buddhist you simply recite, "I take Refuge in the Buddha, I take Refuge in the Dharma, I take Refuge in the Sangha" ...  this is repeated 3 times and VOILA !!!  You are now a Buddhist .  I cant help but chuckle at this (I'm NOT a well man) .

The Global Code

                                                           Last night I had a something 'arrive' that caught my attention :    it was this ;  ---> Global Code<---  .    It's 'arrival' was mildly THRILLING since, for some time, I've been wondering what, exactly, the 'Global Citizen' should have as a Core of Beliefs, meaning, what would the be the "Guidelines" that would Aid the Citizen in navigating the Ocean of Suffering that is the Planet's Karma .   Throughout the Ages Humankind has Valued various 'Codes' --- from The Code of Hammurabi, to The Ten Commandments,  Codes that Define Civilization and its resultant Societies and Cultures .

                           Generally, it is safe to say that 'Code' is part of    >Code of Conduct<   where 'Conduct' is the Way we "act" around Others, specifically PUBLIC Others, Humans whose names we do NOT know but who share our "Space and Time" .   I should have used General Public , that's makes it clearer .   

                           The First Global Code maxim is this Beauty 

                                                                    ALL LIFE IS SACRED .

                           The Second is this exhortation

                                                                    LIVE THE MIRACLE .

                           I questioned whether or not to change Miracle to Mystical ,  but the employment of Mystical is my own bias .  I mean, straight out, I Believe Zen is Mystical in Outer Form and Invisible Substance .   Shit we can't see  nor explain, that enters our Domain of Reality , has been characterized by the Ancient Chinese as originating in the "Invisible Realm" .   I LOVE that .   

                          

"The Break-up"

                                                           As far as "Break-ups" 'go' there was that time when we, us guys, who worked at R.I. Import, were gathered at a local 'watering hole' and Steve Jezerney  arrived with with his girl, a fucking Cosmic "NO-NO" .   We stood AGHAST as she was introduced to all of us .   She had coal-black hair, cut short, but not a "bob" and she was ENDOWED, meaning, she was as VOLUPTUOUS as any "Earth Mother" figurine ever hand-crafted by a DEVOUT .   "IT" didn't stop there, during the evening she USED OUR NAMES as though she had already memorized them ---AND SHE BOUGHT US A COUPLE OF PITCHERS OF BEER .  I mean, HOLY FUCKING GAWD .  ALL of us were IN LOVE .

                         Next time we saw Steve we asked about Kate, he looked away and saddened, "I broke up with her" .    WE BEGAN TO WAIL NO NO  NO NO SHE IS BEAUTIFUL AND WE LOVE HER .  It was to no avail, their relationship had been dissolved and with it our Hearts.  

                         In those days Relationships were Extravaganzas of Lust, and Sex --- we were ever mindful of ,   "There are PLENTY of other fish in the sea", so, I mean, there's THAT .   Did THAT justify the Divorce ?????????    Uhhhhhh ... .

                          

"ONCE IS NOT ENOUGH"

                                                          Last night as I was rifling through my CD's a wave of >Ache< swept over me .   I sat back to catch my breath and to FEEL its MAGNITUDE .    I recovered to wonder its MEANING .   My Mind went blank {which is a GOOD thing} .   After a few moments Zen Master Seung Sahn came to Mind with this :   "Perceive World Sound" which I saw and felt as Perceive World ACHE.

THAT'S the Essence of King Charles's ................Plea .   It was the Delivery of Heart-ACHE, the Sadness that approaches SORROW .   2 words.....fuck .

                       Back in Ancient Times there was a Film titled "Once Is Not Enough" starring Kirk Douglas and Alexis Smith .  It's mostly a romantic Tragedy, of the Shakespearean Mold ,   but the title is Significant for us .   There is no Plot to "thicken", it is rather straight forward =   Guy breaks up with girl for questionable reasons and the girl is beyond Distraught so much so that she confronts Kirk "as a woman scorned" .   Kirk tries to defend his decision by saying, "I loved you once" to which she fires back "ONCE IS NOT ENOUGH ".   "We seen this flick, it don't end well" is enough for a summary .

                    That 's how I view Great Britain and America and I presume "it's" the same for GB .   You can see it rite ?

Reciprocity

                                                           King Charles delivered a beautiful speech that, at times, waxed poetic about the Relationship of Great Britain [to] and America .   He spoke with the Calm that TRUE POWER >has< in certain Sensitive {tender} Moments where abject INTENSITY is manifested as Whisper ,  as though one is close enough to one's "Significant Other" and "I Love YOU" is at the edge of hearing, so close that warm breath can be felt on one's ear .   It was like that ~~~~~~~~sorta .

                           King Charles spoke of "Shared Commonalities"-- something of which my Gentle Readers are well aware -- that these Shared Commonalities include remembrances of Times-Long-Passed which serve as Reminder of   L-----o-----n-----g Standing Commitments and DEVOTIONS to Higher Order Ideals ,  and Human NOBILITY,  that of Kindness, Compassion, Caring, and, of course, DEMOCRACY , which at one Time characterized the "Greater Whole" .   He cautioned about "Nostalgia", that it causes a certain paralysis, a paralysis which prevents True recognition of REALITY --- a paralysis that stymies Positive Movement toward first, Repair, and second Regeneration .   He gently chided that we cannot "Live in the past", that it is Necessary to constantly monitor the Prevailing Conditions with an Eye toward HEALTHY Maintenance ,  and the Muscle to execute those changes that are of the UTMOST Benefit .

                           King Charles was unafraid to intimate that the Relationship was of a "Love" Order, meaning, that of Two who have been Lovers in the Past, where Marriage was totally and completely NATURAL .   In this, he thanked America for "Rescuing" Britain in WWI and WWII -------BUT, "Times have Changed" and the World has Evolved AND SO SHOULD THE RELATIONSHIP EVOLVE AS WELL .

                           The King reinforced Britain's Commitment to America by saying "We have your Back" and "WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE YOUR BACK" ,   all Britain 'wanted in return' was Reciprocity >>>LOVING<<< Reciprocity .  

                           As I wrote above, "IT" was Beautiful .

                           Do I now claim that the American Public is "TOO STUPID TO KNOW BETTER"  ??   Tough one .... .  They are BARELY 'Informed' and when they ARE 'Informed' at least SOME of that Information is Propaganda the Government presents as Truth .    The Governmental Sanhedrin expects to be Believed because, after all, IT IS THE GOVERNMENT .   This same Dynamic is expressed by the Bible, after all, isn't the WORD of the Bible THE WORD OF GOD ?
