Courage

                                                           I have to execute several details this morning, so I am not going to continue save for providing a the title of a book  that will introduce my Gentle Readers to Islam :  it is Mohammedanism by H. A. R. Gibb .   It contains the relevant ESSENCES of Islam and it is written with BEAUTY .   

                             Elsewhere I have argued that it is FEAR that breeds Hatred .  Fear will always exist because Fear is an Instinct.  Like Fear, WAR will ALWAYS exist .   This is "The Human Condition" .    

                              Fear is combatted by Familiarity ,  I don't like it, but there it is .   We FEAR Something until we don't...  also  "The Human Condition" .   Obviously,  if we Confront Fear we also Confront Hatred .   "IT" takes Courage, and we KNOW how difficult it is to summon Courage ,  but Summon we must, if We are to advance toward Peace and weirdly Justice .

                                                           I see NO DIFFERENCE between "All Jews must be annihilated" and "All Israelis must be annihilated."  I mean IS there a difference between Nazi Forces and those of the IRGC ???   History  has recorded that "There can be no peace until Israel, as a Nation, is OBLITERATED" .   THAT'S what netanyahu and his have confronted .  They face the THREAT OF EXTINCTION --- so when Epstein 'surfaced' and trump's nuts were in a vise, netanyahu Responded .

                               I contend that trump is capable of ANYTHING, including STARTING A WAR TO DEFLECT ATTENTION AWAY FROM HIM, {hopefully} FOREVER .   

                               Trump was 'ripe' "for the picking" and netanyahu was "BB on the spot" .   He got in the Oval Office and "laid out" his Plan which convinced trump while his staff went "AGHAST" .    Trump may never have considered War with Iran as VIABLE , but netanyahu's Plan suited his needs perfectly .  "Two birds, one stone" .

                                                          Yesterday I read a post on the made "Sense" .   A very enthusiastic American claimed that it was ISRAEL that 'downed' a U.S. helicopter, or "heelo" as Navy Seals have tagged it .   I sat back and thought, wow ... .    Trump and his NEVER supplied the Reasoning for attacking Iran, and that Reasoning remains a mystery, but that post {I gotta tell ya} it allowed for an Understanding that is, even at its most base, alluring, if not flat-out Seductive .   

                          It  ain't  "TRUMP'S WAR" at all----> it's NETANYAHU'S .   

                          There have been reports that netanyahu convinced trump to launch a half-scale Attack on Iran, "half-scale" because no Ground Troops were deployed .   Netanyahu saw an opportunity to "bomb the fuck out of Iran" with the goal to eliminate Iranian Threat, i.e., their Missile Capability, specifically .   But yesterday I was gripped by the feeling tat there HAD-TA-BE  something more, something ELSE and when the Epstein Files Debacle surfaced in American Broadcasting yet again, the Cosmic >"IT"< 'arrived'.   

                          I am a fan of "Conspiracy Theories" mainly because so much IMAGINATION is utilized, and I'm an "Imagination" kinda* guy .   I'm figurin' that netanyahu pressured trump into attacking Iran because netanyahu threatened trump with releasing all the SHIT the Israeli Intelligence "had" 'about trump and epstein .

Good Will Hunter

                                                           I'm a 'word guy' and therefore a 'BOOK Guy'  but I KNOW reading books is not as "IT" once was ---  We, as in our Society, has now leaned toward a return to {believe it or not} the "ORAL TRADITION", meaning many of Us would rather LISTEN to readers than actually BEING a >Reader< --- "so it goes' .   I am reluctant to use my personal Library to influence my Gentle Readers ---it may be too self-indulgent .   I CAN "resort to" films, however, since they represent the "sugar" in "A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down" .   We can observe HOW and WHY individuals are the way they are in Hollywood Glamor that reeks of 'blue collar'  'empiricism' by viewing perhaps the Greatest Film of its Time, "Good Will Hunting"--- an Academy Award Winner of "Best Original Screenplay" by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon .   It's like the Bible, it has EVERYTHING inside .

                          Here we have Matt as "Will" ,  Ben as "Chuckie" and Minnie [Driver] as "Skylar' .   Matt is the one with the "Gift", Ben is strictly "Blue Collar" and Minnie is a "trust fund" rich-kid .    It's a small range of characters but they are all we need to inspect the Conditions of their Past as they relate to their Future .    

                          I urge my Gentle Readers to view "Stigmata" as well .   My FAVORITE Actress, Ms. Patricia Arquette, portrays a POSSESSED Hairdresser, whose line, "I LOVE being who I am" DEFINES a level of Existence most common and UN-COMMON in the Realm of Ordinary Work-a-Day .   As a kwik* aside, Gabriel Byrne is MAGNIFICENT as Father Andrew Kiernan .

"All things from Karma"

                                                           I was not one who was attracted to "The American Dream", which included, wife, kids, house and a job that paid for "a good living" .   I mean, it was 'out there' but not for me .   The American Dream was a manifestation of "The Declaration of Independence" which seems like a s--t--r--e--t--c--h , {it is} .    My Guy Ben Franklin used it as did "Mark Twain" .   The American Dream appeared to some of us as nothing more than the Status Quo, a Status Quo that registered as "The Natural Order" of Society and Civilization .   Like the V---A---S---T majority of some of us, I didn't know what I wanted, but a wife and kids was NOT among my Future Desires .    BUT    WHERE did that leave me ?  What ELSE was "Out there" ???   Good Question .

                            I may or may not be "different", but there was something INSIDE me that did NOT "like" the Status Quo , and I can only attribute    this   to Karma .    In Buddhist Dogma  this :   "All things from Karma" .    I was born with >somethings< and these somethings influenced my Life, THAT'S what 'somethings' DO .   It is being aware of these Somethings that will aid in the attainment of "One's Own" .

What's inside and What "out there"

                                                           We must establish a few 'things' before we get "underway" .    To have "One's Own" isn't just about receiving a "Gift" from the Realm of the Super-Natural, although that DOES figure prominently in the Over-All Plan {Process} .   Elsewhere I have championed Dr. William Jame's Cosmic Assertion that "Life is what you MAKE it" .   We can extrapolate that 'Life' is [therefore] constructed :  we say that we build a Life , and we must build Life from what already exists within our "Realm" ;   in the 70's >that< was 'heard' as "Ya-gotta go with what ya got" .   When we graduated High School we have a diploma, but not much else .   SOME of us DID enter the "Job Market" early on, and that is most definitely commendable, but some of us 'did' sports, which, precluded outside activities especially Work .   I didn't want to work, I wanted to play ----------and I did .   My goal at that Time was to get into a college, somehow,,, NOT to suit MY "Ambition" {I had none} but to satisfy my Parents .   2 words :  weird .

                               We must correctly identify those 'things' with which to build a Life , these >things< include an Existential Understanding of What Life IS .   What is the Nature of Life (?) is intimately connected to What is the Nature of BEING .   I hazard that most High School Grads don't have a fucking CLUE about the True Nature of Existence, shit, did ANYBODY our age "have a clue" ?   Doubtful, but there were Those that knew EXACTLY what they wanted to do {become}, and got on a Path whose goal was that "End" .  I'm thinking of Teachers, and the so-called High School "Future Teachers of America" .   Many of us Others did NOT, as I mentioned above, and Life was a {fucking} Mystery .   Question is , How do we find [locate] those 'things' and then, How do we use them ?   

"No Beginning --- No End"

                                                          I'm not going to write extensively this morning --- I have a cement/concrete project to execute and I'm brimming with enthusiasm to begin .   

                             I give my Gentle Readers a "Heads uP" that in the upcoming days I plan to explore the Nature and VALUE of "Having One's Own" , and also the Commitment REQUIRED .   Also, I intend to alter my own Writing so as to include the >>>WAY<<< in which I Think --- an Effort to provide example of "Critical Thinking" as it relates to >>>Problem Solving<<< , not just in GRANDIOSE EXTRAVAGANZAS , but in every-day situations, the littlest shit that most of us find either troubling or bothersome .  Note that even severe trivialities  are a form of Suffering, and that to find methods to alleviate the slightest Suffering can and SHOULD lead to the alleviation of BIG-TIME Suffering---which is the Goal of the Noble 8 Fold Noble Path .   

                           We're gonna start with this ;   "Looking into One's Self---{and the Attainment of Buddhahood"}  the third definition of Zen .   

"WHOA NELLIE " !!!

                                                          I had a rough plan to write about Nellie Korda, the Winner of the Women's U.S. Open Golf Tournament, so that I could feature a lyric from an old song, {Ancient, really} which is "God Bless the child that's got his own" .   Korda "comes from" a rather wealthy family of Champions, her father (Petr Korda) the most notable, who achieved MAJOR Success as a Tennis Pro as well as her Mom (Regina Rajchrtova) .   Apparently, Nellie had little interest in Tennis and chose Golf as her "OWN" .   THAT'S the Point rite there, to Have "One's Own" .    Question :  What is 'One's Own'  ?

                               Based on all of Dr. Carl Jung's Teachings, I am firmly convinced that EVERY ONE can and SHOULD "Have his/her Own" .   One's Own is best described as a "Gift"---we speak of those that have been "given" "Gifts", we assume from Heaven .   Nellie Korda has the "Gift" of "DOING" Golf at the highest level, indeed, she is presently # 1 in all the Rankings .   Are we to expect that each of US can be a # 1 ?    I suppose, but THAT isn't the Point of "One's Own" .   Some Folks are simply FABULOUS at what they "DO" ,  they make super-difficult actions appear as EFFORTLESS because they are so in tune with said activity, and that it 'appears' as "Second Nature" .   Their "expressions" ARE them, their Expressions >DEFINE< WHO they ARE, and of What they are made .   We can look at any TOP PRO to record affirmation .    

                              The "Job-of-Life" is to FIND "One's Own" .   It ain't EZ, nor should it be .

"The Heart of Rock and Get ROLLED "

                                                           Certainly the report of Ukrainian Success is >heartening< { GOD I love that word, heartening} .   I wish that we could receive a report of american success, a report that would indicate that america is actually doing SOMETHING to neutralize trump and in so doing CHANGE the so-called "Course of History" .  Sadly ---> NOPE .   

                            American B-R-O-A-D-casters and media in general, is preparing for the upcoming anniversary by labeling it with >>>CELEBRATION<<<  .   I mean, HOW THE FUCK CAN THAT BE ???

                             We are in the midst of WAR ,  trump and his have draaaaaaged us into a NO WIN CONDITION , a "condition" that has effected the entire WORLD .   Trump has DESTROYED AMERICAN DEMOCRACY, almost SINGLE-HANDEDLY, and is "On course" to PLUNDER american taxpayer wealth, and disperse it among HIS family members, and loyalists in a STAGGERING Display of UNRESTRICTED CORRUPTION .

"I Want To Believe"

                                                           Reports that "Ukraine is WINNING " have surfaced evidenced by the drone strikes in St. Petersburg, putin's HOME-TOWN .   The Strikes occurred during putin's "Davos" a russian economic forum where several nations attended .   Further, Outside Monitors of putin's War have reported that Ukraine is killing russian soldiers faster than putin can recruit.  86,000 dead but only 80,000 recruited, so they say .   I Believe them because "I want to believe" .   

                         Somehow Ukrainians have developed a Drone Attack System that not only neutralized that of putin, but in many instances, exceeded expectations .    Ukraine has  manufacturing that builds these drones for around a "grand" , whereas russia spends at least THREE Times THAT .    Putin is losing soldiers, and going broke in the process .   2 words :  WOW .

                         I mean ya jus'-gotta shake your head in overwhelming APPRECIATION for Ukrainian TENACITY and Forbearance .    We must also FULLY Appreciate the EU and their commitment to Ukraine, to the tune of some ONE HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS in Aid and all its manifestations .   

                         ...And what about those MAGNIFICENT Albanians who FROZE  kushner's assets in PROTEST of his attempt to SEIZE Albanian Property and  make it his own ???

                                                           If you were to call me a "Drunk and Loser" I'd respond with only 2 words :  YUP,    thing is, I had to kill the Stephen that was a Drunk, and rite now, at this particular moment, I AM a Drunk and I am NOT a Drunk at the exact same time .   That's just the way it is .   My "Track Record" has been cleaned-up, meaning I got Sober with the Cosmic Aid of a Someone-Who-Saw-In-Me-Goodness , and the Massachusetts State Government who funded the "Spin-Dry" where I began Recovery .    I WAS GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE to become a functioning member of Society and a CONTRIBUTOR to the "Common Welfare" .   

                             I am OBLIGED to "Stand With" platner --- WE NEED HIS VOTES TO STOP TRUMP AND TRUMPISM  .   He may be hideously ugly, but his votes are Heavenly Beautiful .

                                                          Platner reminds me of that character "Kurt Weller" [portrayed by Sullivan Stapleton] in the TV Series "Blindspot", platner looks like "Weller" "for better and for worse" .   It's that same unshaven-face GRUFFNESS that reeks of Neandertal Savagery BUT Weller has the HEART and SPIRIT of a fucking WARRIOR who's "in it" to " PROTECT AMERICA FROM ALL THREATS BOTH DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN " .    His ALLEGIANCE to America is UNQUESTIONABLE and THAT'S why I favor Platner,     FOR THAT VERY  SAME REASON .   

                              I have embittered, with vitriolic vehemence, that the rats can be Trusted, to be pathetic FOOLS when it "comes to" "taking the high road" rather than "getting down and dirty" .   The rats have FAILED >>>PRODIGIOUSLY<<< at their efforts to "do the Right Thing" when that >thing< demands unconventional strategies and tactics,  as I just wrote, they do not like to "roll up their sleeves", nor "get blood on their hands" --- they revel in being "meek" and this reliance on "The meek shall inherit the world" REEKS of abject fucking COWARDICE .

                        There's a guy who's PRESIDENT who HAS NO MORAL COMPASS NOR ETHICAL DEVICES >>>AT ALL<<< and now you're-gonna reject a man who has CONFESSED and who is SEEKING PROFESSIONAL HELP ????    It "ain't-like" Hilary rejected clinton and DEMANDED HE RESIGN for getting a blow-job from a "20 something" .   I HATE using "Stand By Your Man" , that now iconic song from the 70's that infuriated the Feminist Left, but Hilary did just that "for better and for worse" , and now WE must choose between trumpism and democracy DESPITE the HIDEOUS UGLINESS that platner,  AS A PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL , "has" as a POLITICAL Candidate .

                                                           It would be a {fucking} MIRACLE if even one of my Gentle Readers remembers my blogs about Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky :   how she delivered unto him oral contact that resulted in an Impeachment .   I argued then that we didn't elect bill to be our "Moral Compass" and if he wanted to get sucked-off during a phone call to a Saudi King, well   "that's on him" .   I am of the Mind that 'conjugal fidelity' is best left to the married simply because of the INTIMACY that should register as "NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS".   With regard to bill, I haven't changed .

                          Here it is where platner has been "less than a Gentleman", and a few mite* consider him a fucking BRUTE, yet ANOTHER KNUCKLE-DRAGGER whose addictions cause dis-quieting HARM to his partners and OBVIOUSLY his own Wife .   I had one of my girl-friends call me a "DRUNK AND A LOSER", simply because I wouldn't attend one of her family's -----------------------events .   In those days I would rather DRINK than do anything else.  Booze Kills and it KILLED that particular relationship .   So I KNOW what's it's like to have BOOZE Control my Mind and Body  = = =  Hideously GROTESQUE gets us to >>> There .

                                                           I apologize to my Readers in Lands that are foreign to the U.S .   Today I wish to examine the "Predicament" within which the Democratic Party finds itself ; specifically,  the Senate Race, that pits Platner against Collins .   The entire nation has been exposed to this Senate Race because collins is a lame-ass flunkie who's a "running dog" for trump, meaning, she has voted WITH/FOR trump IN DIRECT OPPOSITION to the Will of Mainers ;   Chris Hayes called her a "rubber stamp" for her >>>OBEDIENCE<<< to trumpism and loyalty to trump, himself ;  she's a fucking COWARD just like her others, a PREMIER example of POLITICAL SELFISHNESS , and a model for Ego-Maniacal POWER ;  PLUS she's older than fucking DIRT and has the Mind that approaches addle-ship* .

                                Platner has fucking ISSUES, but he has been B-R-O-A-D-C-A-S-T-I-N-G that he will "Take On" trump  and work to find ways and means to Neutralize trumpism and should Impeachment be presented as an option he is "ALL IN" .   The `rats` {{democ-RATS}} >>>NEED<<< this Seat to gain 'leverage' in the Senate , but because of Platner's Issues, the rats are becoming "Gun Shy" about firing him off as collins' "killer" .

                                 Marc Elias, a COSMIC SUPER-BRAIN and CHAMPION OF DEMOCRACY, a TRUE MAN, has repeatedly issued Clarion Calls of URGENCY .   Most recently he has warned us that, "IT'S GONNA GET WORSE,,, MUCH WORSE"  and that it's now time for STATES to "Once more enter the breech", "gird their loins" and PREPARE for trump's INVASION of the Electoral System, both propagandarily* and PHYSICALLY .   Marc and Others have envisioned a Scenario where trump and his will allow the elections to continue IF AND ONLY IF, He and his are ---> WINNING .   Trump wants the DNI to use its SPY "Network", NOT against Foreign Adversaries BUT AGAINST ITS OWN ELECTORATE, the very Electorate that PAYS FOR him and his .    Recall nixon's rabid and Autistic DESIRE to 'wire-tap' the phones of his opponents .   Trump's DESIRE is Much, MUCH  Worse .   Nixon was an AMERICAN , whereas trump is an american TERRORIST .   

The Woodstock Weary

                                                          My Generation OPPOSED the War in Vietnam, and did so AS AN ARMY FOR GOOD .   Colleges across the Nation were in "Lock Step", meaning there was a dogged COMMITMENT to >>>>PROTEST<<<< , not just one day out of the month but EVERY FUCKING DAY AND TWICE ON WEEK-ENDS !    The Gov. was kidnapping our Friends, Brothers, Sisters and Cousins, TRAINING THEM TO KILL, and then sending them off to die in the jungle and rice paddies .   

                             I see no such >Commitment< among the present college population--- I am confounded, and  BITTERLY so .

                             Putin is 73, what if he "turns into" trump as he approaches his final years ?   For that  matter, what would happen if putin were to die, say from a heart attack, would russia "change" ?   We can't know if it (the change) would be for the better or for the worse .   What would happen if trump "checks out" ?   Would america change ?   Would trump's Gestapo and Propaganda ministers "throw down their arms"  and surrender ???

                                                           There IS a nation-w-i-d-e Protest scheduled for trump's birthday--I am NOT optimistic .  The last protest involved BARELY  8 million citizens, one mil more than its predecessor ,   not good .   I feel folks just can't be bothered, it's sad but I think TRUE .   Folks are taking the War "with a gain of salt", meaning, "Life goes on" and "the show must go on" and "keep a stiff upper lip" and "All's well that ends well".   Fucking horseshit--ALL OF IT .   Thing is, the MAJORITY of americans believe "This too shall pass", and treat this War and its manifestations as mere "Ho-Hum" NORMALCY , a Status Quo that resembles "City Hall" and the curse, "Ya can't fight city hall" .    8 mil ain't nothin' but TEN MILLION ???   HERE WE GO !!!

                             Any 'search engine' will provide the simple History of the Arc de Triomphe, that it is a monument to remember those that died in the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars .    Ya-gotta figure that trump only saw >Triumph< and that IT was enough for him to covet .   Trump HAS been "Triumphant" in ALL levels of Democracy Destruction and what better way IS there to "Put >IT< in the face" of those that DOUBTED him .    Indeed, his election to the Presidency is a Triumph for him and his .    He has TRIUMPHED over a Nation that has done NOTHING to stop him and his ARMIES and he has TRIUMPHED as did Napoleon, and one wonders if there is a "Waterloo" on the horizon .   Recall that Napoleon "fell" because his lauded "Old Guard" was "brok en" .   Trump's version of the "Old Guard" hasn't even FLINCHED --- 80 to 90 per cent of republicans still APPROVE of him and his policies, AND THE WAR .   Nope---Waterloo is a ways away IFF it is to 'arrive' at all ... .

                                                           I've been trying to "get my head around" trump's birthday "celebration", specifically, the MMA "Event" whose "Stage" is being constructed on the grounds of the White House .   It's been more than a couple of days and I've yet to be satisfied with what has "arrived' .   Previously, I suggested that his "ballroom" was a manifestation of the Parthenon mainly because of its size, scope and measure--- it looks like Greek Architecture I suppose to "fit in" with the general Greek/Roman Aesthetic that defines D.C. .   Certainly trump didn't and doesn't know anything about the Parthenon, that it was a Temple for MY "Girl" Athena --->  The VIRGIN Goddess , I mean WTF, what is TRUMP doing with a VIRGIN Goddess ????        One can only guess ... .

                           But what of the "Cage / Stage" ???   Most Folks can't "stomach" watching MMA 'Fighting' ,,, they experience MAJOR >discomfort< because of the Pugilism, Wrestling, and Ju Jitsu .   I guess it IS difficult to watch for most, I am NOT that way ---I grew up watching Friday Night Fights with my father in my "formative years" --- plus I am a Martial ARTIST not a Martial SPORTIST, but still, Fighting is an INTEGRAL Part of Martial Arts / Martial Sports Training .    I don't know how trump was even introduced to "Cage Fighting" , but apparently he is an AVID Fan .

                           I CAN "see" how trump was attracted to "Pro Wrestling", "STAGED" "combat" that DEFIES  Human Logic, and whose only "benefit" is entertainment-as-distraction .   Most of us KNOW that the "wrestling" is as phony as a 250 dollar bill --- so, I mean, Phony IS as Phony Sees ---trump "fits rite* in" .

                                                           Back in the Ancient of 7th Grade Yesteryear there was an expression used by common-place-less-thans that was EXTREMELY DISTURBING to some of the rest of us guys, it was "Treat 'em like gold, they'll treat you like shit".  It was popular because of its retort, "Treat 'em like SHIT, they'll treat you like Gold" .   I wanna figure that trump and his have this THIS in "the back of their minds" ~~~  I mean look around... . Trump threats EVERYBODY as if they are nothing but shit ~~~ and then look at what his supporters admire in trump ... .    I'd use the term "Counter-Intuitive" but   FUCKED-UP gets us so much closer to the Truth .   I HATED that expression in Junior High---still do but it seems and sounds Appropriate to register IT as trumpian in Nature and Context .   

                             I can't recall if I heard that expression in college, it may be that "IT" was local to Seekonk, my Home Town, but it seems logical to think that "IT" came from "higher-up" meaning it was "handed down" by High Schoolers who struggled with even Contacting Females, let alone establishing a relationship .   Because of his age, trump would certainly be one of those "Higher ups" .

                             I wonder what would have happened had the Seekonk Junior High Faculty actually ADDRESSED what appears to be EGREGIOUS DISRESPECT for Females  and then made an EFFORT to EXCISE this expression and the ATTITUDE from the Normal of Every-Day ?

                                                          It is perhaps impertinent for me to charge rogan and is Tribe with the categorization of  Instinctual Prothesis, I do so anyway .

                                                           I am fascinated with the fact that young american males chose trump as a "Role Model", including a contingent of black american's who all but feasted on trump's Tax Cuts for the "Rich and Famous" .   Somehow they were "turned on" to trump via Joe Rogan's podcast Efforts .   I don't get it .   Before joe rogan was ANYTHING he did an acting stint on "News Radio", that aired from 1995 to 1999 and was barely modestly successful .   I don't know how joe "got into" Martial Sport commentary, but joe became popular THERE because he took it upon himself TO TRAIN AS IF HE WAS A COMBATANT in 'Cage Fighting' ---THAT was and is completely commendable, but does THAT give him "bona fides" to influence his listeners to vote and SUPPORT trump ?   I-mean  SHIT , ya-gotta wonder ..... .   How did joe become 'The Voice' of american males, and the question >WHY< may be even more poignant [significant] .   Joe supported trump and trump-ISM and STILL does, despite raising questions about trump's WAR  and trump's ICE inflicted Cruelty .   I never figured a guy "like" joe could be a "Man Of The People" --- I figured he could never amass a Following that could effect an Election and BOY did I miss THAT .

                                                           Folks have been morbidly ASTONISHED by trump's >Durability<, meaning,  NOTHING seems to effect him in a way or ways that would profoundly alter his 'Trajectory' .  I hazard that he, like the Biblical Character Cain, [the one who slew his own brother Able], is PROTECTED by Divine Aegis .   In this we must ask, did God order Cain to smite Abel, TO TEACH US A LESSON ????   Did God send trump, TO TEACH US A LESSON ????   

                               Suppose that "Lesson" is a simply, GET YOUR FUCKING SHIT TOGETHER, which is directed TO THE WORLD !!!!   Elsewhere I have insisted that trump 'ain't just' American, he's WAAAAAAAY fucking MORE =  He is the Product of Western Civilization, and when you combine THAT with "Divine Aegis" what we "get' is WORLD FUCKING SUFFERING !!!

                                                            What is troubling in Ecclesiastes is that War and Peace are part of God's Divine Scheme, meaning,  in the same way that >Peace< is "Natural" so too, War .   I find THAT  difficult to   >> absorb<< .   Can it be said that War is "in'" our Genetic Structure , that War against other Human Beings is PRE-Determined because of our DNA ?   I don't like it .

                           Look at this :   "What has been is what will be , and what has been done will be done;  and there is nothing new under the the sun ."   [ 1: 9 ] .   We've all heard,  "What goes around, comes around".  Here it is where Cyclicity reaches a COSMIC Level that smacks of Universal Absolute .  Here it is where the Comic Cycle manifests as "reincarnation" [ The Transmigration of Soul ] .   Here it is where trump "comes around" after hitler has "been around" ,  and we are hard-pressed, after reading Ecclesiastes, to assume that both hitler and trump are "part of God's Plan" .   THAT ain't good, how COULD it be ?????

                           "Silver Lining" =  hitler was defeated, {sorta} and so will be trump .   Age will kill trump, AGE KILLS EVERYONE .

                                                            Here's a "good one" and I quote myself : "The Same is ALWAYS-GONNA-BE Different" .  Obnoxious AND Brutal .   What are we to do, How are we to act, in  relation to the Cyclicity of All Things ????? .   One Word :    UNREMITTING VIGILANCE .   Just a kwik* Reminder :   "Vigilance" is a VIRTUE .   Time can't be Stopped nor can Evolution since Both ARE on the SAME TIMELINE .   We must be STUPENDOUSLY >>>Vigilant<<<  if we are to Advance .   Vigilance is AA >>>DOGMA<<< .    Vigilance is a Form off  Self---> PROTECTION , and as such, when properly ampLIFIED , becomes a NEXSUS for UNIVERSAL Action .   

                     Look at "IT" this way :   Life is like a garden, if the farmer is NOT VIGILANT weeds will grow and eventually render the garden USELESS .    Vigilance identifies the Problem, AND the resulting mechanism for garden HEALTH .   So simple it seems STUPID .

                    We KNOW the "World" has REJECTED trump's plea for Rescue, rightly and RWONGLY so... .   I contend that trump is just like hitler, that the WORLD needs to "step up" and DEAL with hitler trump IN THE EXACT SAME WAY .  Western Civilization created trump and so must now DEAL with him .  I do not Believe there is any other Option .

Cosmic Duality

                                                           The Bible is an aid in defining my Existence .  I have THE NEW OXFORD ANNOTATED BIBLE WITH APOCRYPHA (Expanded Edition) [Revised Standard Version] and IT has been indispensable for my Writing(s) .   I can't Imagine my Gentle Readers are without a Bible, since the Bible is an aid to Defining Civilization itself .  Modern THOUGHT has the Bible as Foundation .

                         With regard to the Cyclicity of Existence we can access the Book of Ecclesiastes for Insight .   Recall the Byrds of middle 60's R&R Tradition and their "cover" of Pete Seeger's MASTERPIECE , "To Every thing turn, turn turn" .    The entirety is found in Chapter 3 which begins with "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under the sun".  Note sentence 8 : "a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, a time for peace" ... .    {{{Scary Rite ???}}}

                         I insist ;  We never "left" hitler and hitlerism, we moved away from it, but now look at what is upon us presently, yup, it's BACK, manifested NOW as trump and trumpism .   "The more things Change, the more they stay the same."  

                         Is "IT" a Curse that CANNOT be "outlived" ?   Or is Evolution part of a COSMIC Circularity that NEEDS Negativity, so that Humans can Understand and APPRECIATE the Positive ?   Here's an OLD ONE "Ya can't have one, you can't have one WITHOUT THE OTHER" .  Why, in God's Name does this smell like BULLSHIT and taste like VOMIT ?   One Word ;  Cosmic Duality .

SIZE Matters ... .

                                                           I had to ask the Universe if Time was 'linear' or 'circular', meaning, is everything a "one-off" {"one and done"} or is there a circularity manifested as 'Seasonal Change', that is, does Time move forward and ONLY forward or is there a "one step forward and two steps backward" 'Agency' that correctly depicts Time's Movement, OR, Is Time >Cyclical< as I have just noted ?  For BuddhistS, the answer is a "no brainer", because Life itself, manifests within the CYCLE  of Birth-Death-Re-Birth, it is OBVIOUS that ALL LIFE is subject to this Universal Cyclicity and therefore Time IS Cyclical in Nature .   We say, "What goes around comes around" and the ever prominently hateful, "The  more things change, the more they stay the same."  As Humans we can detect Change because of our own experiences and even more importantly, the Experiences of Others ESPECIALLY those of History .    We say, "Time marches on" with the Belief that we are moving FORWARD in a Correct Direction, but this may be inaccurate, if we locate ourselves on a Timeline of a CIRCLE .   Marching >forward< is ACTUALLY marching on a course of >Return< .   Even this THIS is less than, meaning it is far more SAFE to argue that we are on a circular MOTION that resembles a SPIRAL whose 'end' is the Goal of Humankind, Utopia .   It is necessary to see this "Spiral" as going >UP<  where UP is AWAY from Earthly Corruption and TOWARD  Heavenly Virtue .   Please, "Try this on for size" .

                                                          It would behoove my Gentle Readers to engage the clutch of a 'search engine' and locate both Hesiod's "Ages of Man"  and those of the Roman Great, Ovid .   Hesiod's "Works and Days" house the Ages and Ovid's "Metamorphoses" contain his .   I find it Necessary to introduce these >Ages< because they provide an Academic >Context< for the Present Conditions of Civilization .   I KNOW that "Understanding" is NOT >Enough< for the Mind to achieve Peace, but 'it' DOES provide a framework or scaffolding with which to VIEW our Position within Political Evolution .   It seems awkward  that a View of the Present can offer a View of the Future, but what is Important is that the GOAL of Civilization, which I contend to be UTOPIA, can be "Seen"  and the Trajectory of Humankind's Effort can be adjusted or altered to ensure that the Goal can be Reached .   

                           Thing is, WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE LOOKING AT HERE ?   Hesiod and Ovid are LONG-SINCE DEAD, didn't their "Iron Age" die with them ?  If not, WHY not ????? !!!!

                                                           I know the past 2 weeks have been dour .   Webster's defines dour :  1 hard; stern; severe    2  obstinate    3  sullen' gloomy; forbidding .   I have transmitted  my Negativity with obstinance, and demanded my Readers to FULLY Acknowledge that We are at War .    My demands are those of War itself, those of "Situation Awareness", appropriate Strategies , and useful Tactics that MUST-BE "deployed" if We are to SURVIVE trump and trumpism, and make ANY "Headway" against his brand of FASCISM .    War DEMANDS >Changes< in the Human Psyche and these Changes require a steadfast Devotion to "What is Right, What is Good, and What is Virtuous" .   Perhaps I should have listed "Devotion to the Truth" as being FIRST,,, Freudian slip =  I took "Devotion to the Truth" as "taken for granted", although THAT is clearly suspect .   No matter  {{{at least for now}}} .

                           I awoke with a song from the Flying Burrito Brothers bouncing around in my head , the title is "My Uncle" and one  of the stanzas is as follows :

                        That's "IT" rite there, the difference between Right and Wrong .   I wondered WHY that stanza had "arrived" and it's the topic of this morning's consideration .

Mountain Man

                                                            It is written that the Sage IF LUCKY, brings about Changes that Benefit Society  and if UN-LUCKY retires from the world to establish, maintain, and further Develop those Qualities that will be required, {If Humankind is to Advance} in the Future .   I'm no fan of "Luck" .   "Luck" is featured in the Musical "Guys and Dolls" but the song, "Luck Be a Lady Tonight" was most notably performed by Frank Sinatra in the early and middle 50's .   The Implication is that Luck is NOT always a "Lady" with manners and ALL the "Social Graces" but is instead a DEMON GODDESS, somewhat resembling the Hindu Goddess "Kali---the Destructress" .   In this, Luck, can be both Savage and Brutal .   

                            There's this from the I Ching :   "When the wind blows low on the Mountain, it is thrown back and spoils the vegetation .   This contains a challenge to improvement .   It is the same with debasing attitudes and fashions;  they corrupt Human Society .  To do away with this corruption the Superior Man must regenerate Society... .  The Superior Man must first remove stagnation by stirring up public opinion, as the wind stirs everything, and must then strengthen and tranquilize the character of the people, as the Mountain gives tranquility and nourishment to all that grows in its vicinity."

                                                            I sat in Chairy-Chair and let my Mind wander.......this "arrived" :

                 I had to think about the Source or Origin of that lyric, none was forthcoming, so I had to "Search" .    The title of the song is exactly, "I Want To Change The World" --- it was composed by Alvin Lee and performed by his Band "Ten Years After" circa 1971 {I was a Freshman at U. Conn.} .   Previously, I had no familiarity with Ten Years After until Woodstock, the Movie, was released, and Ten Years After became Famous .   The Song "haunted" me then, does so now .

                You Qids know I am an old man, some days Recall is instantaneous and VIVID, other days "IT's" a fucking Blur, wrapped in Fog and smothered in Clouds ---- .   I "Searched" for the lyrics and ... .

                                       "I want to save the World , but I don't know what to do " =   A statement of which ALL of US can relate,, but guys like me feel >IT< egregiously .   The 3rd stanza is Special :

PURR-FECT

                                                             Yesterday I planned to write about "The Teaching", specifically, BUDDHIST Teaching, and I was going to use Zen Master Wu Bong's words to me right before I began living in the Temple .   He had said, "Don't look for the Teaching, it is all around you."   I could see that, since, after all, I was in a Temple, so how could the Teaching NOT be "all around {me} ?   Thing is, in Buddhism,, EVERYTHING IS YOUR TEACHER, not only that, but even the simplest physical task, is also the TRAINING .   There's one thing and ONLY ONE THING that is demanded of the Willing Student and that is HUMILITY,  where Humility manifests as >Receptivity< , the Willingness to attain and "Open Mind" AND KEEP IT OPEN .   Being Humble keeps the Mind supple and pliant .

                             I wasn't satisfied that "The Teaching" was-gonna "do it" for me this morning .   I considered writing about my Kittens, Saffron and 2-Doze and what They have taught me, .   Most recently I made the Determination that "PURRING" is the Absolute Manifestation of both Contentment and Satisfaction, --- that Purring MEANS "Everything is "OK" and for us Space Age Chimps, "A--OK" .   I had to figure that PERFECT Conditions generate PURR-FECT Conditions .   My Cats PURRRRRR when they are {I'm guessing}  Happy and Content within their Knowledge that they will be fed, and Cared-for and also LOVED INTO INFINITY AND BEYOND  .   I Love them That Way .

                            And, as far as "Purring" "goes" there was an opening to add that Purring is where you want to be with your Chick, you want her to PURR because of your Love and what it does to her .    Many of Us have experienced the Bliss of Post-Coital Magnificence, and at THAT Point, there is nothing BUT >Purring< , I'm certain you Qids* agree .
