                                                           I must suspend this exploration for now, I'm famished and my ribs are beginning to ache .   Everything begins FIRST with Parental Influence, we LEARN how to exist via our Parents, second is Education, from  Kiddie-Garden   to  Secondary Schoolage* and for some us Beyond that .   OVIOUSLY "IT" helps if one or both of your parents were "College Educated" as they say, but MY Mom barely got out of sixth grade and my Dad didn't complete High School ---  my Dad DID, however, receive Military Training and 'fought' in WW II .   He taught me EVERYTHING , while my Mother tortured me with, "NO "C's"  I don't want ONE "C" on your Report Card.... my Mother could barely fucking READ so, I mean, there's THAT .

                          EVERYTHING is contained within the pages of The Odyssey, War, Sex, Orgies, Magic, Wisdom, Fate and even Karma .   Females can escape its Reading, but for TRUE Males it is a "MUST READ".

The Story of the Quick-witted Smart-Mouth

                                                           Some would simply consider Odysseus a quick witted (positive) "smart-mouth" (negative) with a spear .   Thing is Odysseus's entire crew was (get this) at stake .   He and they needed Polyphemus's food for their intended destination :  HOME .   Keep in Mind that Polyphemus was NOT considered a  MONSTER, but instead a HUMAN {but Freakish} GIANT .   Still, it was BRAVERY that Odysseus summoned to confront Polyphemus .   

                             What is the BASIS of this 'Bravery' ?     

                             There is Confidence in one's Abilities, but that is somehow awkward and unwieldy .   Even "Belief in one's Self" is clumsy despite its Truth .   I prefer Experience since "IT" consolidates both Physicality and Mentality while including Spirituality as "X-Factor" .    Odysseus had 'experienced' combat against HUGE Forces that he had Survived .  He TRUSTED himself to succeed because he had done so in the Past .   Experience breeds Power .   {{{I argue that FAILURE does as much but FAILURE is NOT Glamorous nor Romantic}}} .   

                             We are wishing to get a job.  We are denied because "You have no Experience" to which is retorted, "HOW THE FUCK DO I GET if you don't give me this job ?"    Good question .

Nobody CARES

                                                           I KNOW my Gentle Readers are wondering, "WHY is Odysseus considered Heroic for using  "Nobody" as a name ??? what the fuck is HEROIC about THAT ?????   Good Question .

                             I too use Nobody .   When asked "Who are you" which is code for "What is your name?"  I respond with "I am Nobody" which sounds like abject Humility and is "pleasing to the ear" , but in REALITY there is resourceful ARROGANCE at "IT" 's  base .   No one wants to hear , "I'm fucking ODYSSEUS --- first off, not many have read The Odyssey, only a relative few would recognize 'Polyphemus' as aka  Cyclopes .   Thing is, Nobody has TERRIFIC applications like when you hear a strange noise coming from the front door --- when asked about it you can gag, "It's NOBODY" .  "NOBODY IS AT THE FRONT DOOR"  and further, "Should I let him in ?" Terrif ---I mean REALLY Terrif .

"Nobody did this to me"

                                                           I can't resist, I'm like trump on the stage of the World Cup .   I MUST recount  my favorite Exploit of Odysseus, because, generally, most folks have already been introduced to it .

                              Polyphemus (pronounced  po-LEE-fih-muss) was furious that Odysseus and his crew had tried to steal his foodstuffs and was set to DEVOUR Odysseus and his entire crew .   Odysseus ignited the tip of his spear and threw it at Polyphemus'  good and ONLY eye .   He SCREAMED in PAIN and demanded Odysseus's name .   Odysseus didn't miss a beat and called out I am "NOBODY" .

                            Odysseus returned to his ship and Polyphemus went to his father Poseidon, and BEGGED him for redress .   Poseidon aske "Who did this to you ?"   Polyphemus was HONEST and returned >NOBODY, did this to me"   Poseidon was skeptical, "NOBODY" did this ?  Polyphemus was sent away in disgrace and humiliation, UNBELIEVED by his own Dad .  

                           Odysseus   =    the DEFINITION of "Being able to think on your feet" .

                                                           I am not prepared to review the entire Odyssey but I find it necessary to inform my Gentle Readers that when "The West" introduced Homer's Iliad and Odyssey to the Nations of Islam and Arabic speaking countries as well, Homer's Works were NOT received with ANY enthusiasm, indeed, some Scholars argue  that they were, in fact, REJECTED .    Now you wanna figure that because the Arabic Speakers used the 'Language' of POETRY to record History, they would be ELATED by Homer's Works ---  no such luck .   Why does their rejection of Homer matter ?

                             "... for Better AND for Worse",  I'm-gonna equate  The Art of War with The Iliad .   Both can be viewed as "Manuals of Instruction", in that, men learn the nature of Warfare by Reading and then assimilating the Concepts and Ideology of great Men and HOW  THEY conducted themselves On and OFF the Fields of Battle .   Muslims and Arabic Speakers didn't give a shit .   Here it is where Western Ideation was NOT assimilated into the Muslim and Arabic Speakers Psyche ,   they were Different and they STAYED  Different .    Hello recent "talks" to begin the Cessation of Conflict, and their abject FAILURE.

Odysseus

                                                           The American Film Industry has brought Homer's Odyssey to the "BIG Screen" .   Now I don't remember turning into  a Butterfly to "cause" This, but that doesn't mean I haven't or hadn't .   Dare I take credit for this Film ?  I mean SERIOUSLY ????   Yup--- I'm gonna .   If trump can flap his wings to generate a War, why can't I flap mine and generate the Odyssey ?   

                           I know what You are Thinking---if I can flap my wings to produce a Film why can't I flap my wings to produce Peace in the Middle East ?    Good question .

                           We live in a Time devoid of RECOGNIZABLE Heroes .  There is no one to "look up to", to emulate, to cherish as Paradigm .   "Mainstays" like Jesus have been ruthlessly abducted, and perhaps PERVERTED is far more precise .   It isn't as if Jesus Failed, so much as WE Failed Jesus .   Either Way, Jesus as Paradigm cannot be Trusted in the Sense that HIS Message has been delivered using abject Cruelty as a Mechanism,  Agency or Vehicle .    According to the Right, Jesus HATES .   "IT" 's   Sickening .

                          It ain't like I ever had the Thought, "What would Odysseus do?"  but there IS an Essence of Odyssian* Sensibility that DOES, indeed, dominate my >every day< existence .   I have attached a Mystical >>Pragmatism<< to Odysseus, a Pragmatism that finds Compliment to Zen and ITS Practical Application(s) .   Odysseus as Zen Master ???           Yup   I can live with that .

The Butterfly Effect

                                                           Sometimes you can be "minding your own business" when a 'something' >arrives< that 'throws you off your game' .   Well, yesterday, {or it could have been two years ago} I heard the term "butterfly effect" during a movie or TV broadcast .   It sent me into a "tailspin" = a term in aviation to describe an airplane's loss of control and forward flight, and then its subsequent sometimes violent decent into the Earth .  A good pilot CAN recover from such a spin, so, I mean,,, there's THAT .

                             My favorite example of the "Butterfly Effect" is fairly common, in an esoteric sense,  it is =  a butterfly flapping its wings in Taiwan can produce a Tsunami in Japan .   First read brings >inscrutable< to the fore, although for some of Us, that "IT" rings as Truth, and besides That, "IT" seems and FEELS Logical DESPITE the HEAVY Inclination to summarily discard it as RUBBISH .    Not-gonna do that .

                             You modify the Condition even >somewhat< and you can arrive at trump 'flapping his wings' to produce the Effect of INSANE WAR .   The DIFFERENCE is odiously OBVIOUS , but I, {personally} cannot escape the lure of Cosmic Mysticism that is attached to that one butterfly .

                           I had given NO Thought to trump's WAR during this activity but while watching the Hearing I figured, "No Prob" for today's Topic .   It doesn't help that I am both Angry and BITTER, those Emotions cloud my Judgement and obscure Reasoning and deter me from Writing mainly because when I get "like this" my Writing takes the form of Mad-man Lunacy {{{a dog barking at the Moon}}} .

                                                           I awoke at 3:38 and got into the cave at near 4 o'clock ~~~2 and a half hours later, still no "first sentence" .   Then this arrived =  I like to invest in my own Suffering because there is a great 'return' .   "Invest in Suffering" =  where the fuck did that come from ?

                                 I have no 'first sentence' because I couldn't decide upon what this morning's Topic should be .   Yesterday I managed to watch most of hegseth's "Hot Seat"  `burns` but I became an 'mental case' because of the ridiculous questions asked by ridiculous senators .   It wasn't until the very, end where REAL Questions concerning the Strategy [or lack thereof] of trump and his administration were delivered --- it made the opening hours look stupid mainly because THEY WERE .   Of particular note was the inclusion of the Agriculture Secretary .    One of the pundits made certain to stress that her inclusion was a way to DILUTE the Questioning of hegseth and general Boot Licker, What's-his-name .   Genius.  Fucking GENIUS .    The democrats are no match for the republicans Superiority of Cunning .

                                The 'grilling' was itself Sickening, how much fucking BULLSHIT can you eat before expLOSIVE Vomiting results ???  One word ;  Not Much .   We're PAYING these asshole to run the Country ??   OUR Country ????   

Miss Took

                                                           I began a rock-moving project late yesterday afternoon, and now its completion awaits .   I am too restless, {{excited}} to stay here and write but the circumstances surrounding the move are an example of a guy "stepping over a dollar to pick up a dime" .   I had a problem with containment that has been bugging the shit out of me since I solved the problem half=assidly when I moved the other boulders into position .   The Solution was directly in front of me each and every day for moths .  I'm cautioning my Gentle Readers --- DON'T GET OLD !

                              'Stepping over a dollar to pick up a dime' means that you   DON'T , WON'T or CAN'T see what is front of you so you pick-up something that may or may not "do" at and for the time being .  

                              "IT" gets deeper because it is the underlying recognition mechanisms tht ultimate are responsible for CORRECT 'Recognition' but this topic I must reserve for a later time .

                                                          I thought I could take the day off from Writing since I figured everyone was having a World Cup "hang-over" .   I still had to read the War Reports from Ukraine and I've done that but 'facebook' was riddled with posts showing trump with the victorious Spaniards celebrating at controlled Fever pitch .   Clearly trump wanted "IN" .   "Detestable" gets us close .

                        I was set to leave the desk and this screen when a word "arrived", it was "Vainglory" ||||| I suspected its meaning but had to consult my Webster's New World College Dictionary for confirmation .  Here's its def =  "1 extreme self-pride and boastfulness;  excessive and ostentatious vanity   2 vain show or empty pomp " .

                        I LOVE = "excessive and ostentatious vanity"  words that clothe Understanding with both pattern and texture, making "IT" (get this) suitable .   

                        One of the comments below one of the posts was this :  "He can't help himself" .   No one can deny that trump is "a driven man", but the question must be asked, What drives this asshole ?    2 words may suffice :  VANITY .

                        Thing is, we KNOW what drives trump and Vanity is too romantic a word to be all-inclusive but in the World Cup "photo-bomb" Vainglory "fits rite in" .   ...trump is --->vainglorious which carries the stench of Ego-maniacal with verve and gusto {{ poor choice but I like the way they read and sound   verve and gusto that is}} .   trump MUST BE the Center of Attention whether of not that Attention is Negative .  He's sick, REALLY fucking SICK .

Mrs. Burns

                                                           Sophomore Year I took an English course given by Mrs. Burns, a Grad Student working on her Ph.D .   Her first assignment was for us to write a brief bio so that she could "get a handle" on our Minds ---blah-blah-blah.  I gave NO thought to the assignment because I Thought it to be ridiculously E-Z .  About  week later she told us that she was exceedingly disappointed in our Efforts save for one .   She held up MY submission and then proceeded to read it to the class .   I was instantly SICKENED .   I still remember the First Line :  it was , "This is not my time", and from there I described my interest in Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome where the Soldiers wielded Swords, and Scholars were REVERED .    I'm CERTAIN she had fallen in Love with me and that was corroborated when she interviewed us (me) , again, in order to know us better .   She told me that she had perceived an "Independence based on Confidence" that I was comfortable "Standing alone" .   2 words :   THAT was news to me !

                             NOW , I know that I have had MANY Lifetimes in Ancient Greece and the Far East, so I am almost grotesquely Familiar with the Ancients and turn to them to provide a Universal Perspective that has clearly withstood "The Test Of Time" .   These Ancients ARE MY FOUNDATION, they Define my Academic Ventures, my Writing and Studies .   Indeed, They Define my Existence .

                              

Legge-Wilhelm-Baynes

                                                           I have been accused of "Ancestor Worship" because of my  use of Ancient Texts and quotes from Ancient Masters and Venerable Sages .   "Worship" is such a STRONG word, and I reject its use to describe me and my Sentiments {to be  Senti-MENTAL} .   I was introduced to the I Ching via Herr Hermann Hesse and his Magister Ludi, a text that won him the Nobel Peace Prize in Literature .   Reading and then Studying the I Ching transFORMED me .    I GUARANTEE that if my Gentle Readers read the I Ching, they, too, will be transformed .  

                           There are problems, of course, but there are ALWAYS Problems and these must be addressed if Understanding is to be planted and its fruits harvested .   I have two Translations of the I Ching, one by James Legge and the other by the German Scholar Richard Wilhelm and the PHENOMENAL American Translator, Cary F. Baynes .   Of these Two the translation by Wilhelm/Baynes is TRUEST to the Ancient Chinese [the I Ching was written and compiled between the 10th and 9th centuries BCE] .   Legge's Version is INTENSE as it provides DYNAMIC Scholarship that is sometimes {most times} esoteric and therefore requires an EXTENSIVE amount of Background Familiarity .   However, make no mistake, the Wilhelm/Baynes Translation is CLASSIC Chinese oriented, the use of Images and (get this) POETRY can be deemed inscrutable, and it IS --> Inscrutable until you commit to its Understanding by TAKING TIME to let the texts "Sink In" to your Sub-conscious and then your UN-Conscious where it will find AFFINITY as a Manifestation of the "Collective Unconscious" .  

Unremitting Vigilance

                                                           I must connect one more dot .   Here it is where Frog equals Toad and a Plague of Frogs equals a Plague of Toads, or Toadies, fitting, because trump's "toadies" ARE a Plague upon America .

                            The list of  "BAD THINGS HAPPENING IN AMERICA" is sizeable, but NOT Biblical, I mean for the most part , but I suggest NO the shit happening IS >>>BIBLICAL<<<  and we , as in I, should examine and scrutinize {if we must} these "happenings" so that we can properly address the Diseases being inflicted upon us by GOD, as HIS 'Response" to trump the Pharoah .   Polemics allows me this ~~~~~~~~~~~> latitude so, I mean, there's THAT .

                                                           I think not one but TWO "Forevers" had {have} passed before I was able to receive the arrival of what appears to be an answer to the question, "What the fuck is going on with those Canadian Wild Fires and the SMOKE they are generating ?"   The smoke had reached the east coast shores of New England, my Rhode Island County as well .   The Smoke made the sky look Apocalyptic, surreal, definitely "End of the World" concerning .    There HAD-TO-BE a "Synchronicity" Factor involved, but all I could describe "IT" as that of a " 'pall' over the Land" .   I mean, "IT" 'fit' but "IT" seemed to be not enough, "IT" lacked >depth<, "IT" was too superficial .  

                         I gotta confess, shit like this bugs the living and dead "FUCK" out of me, and "IT" makes me question my Abilities and Talents scant that they me be in the first fucking place .   This morning I awoke at three and got outdoors around 3:30~~~ when I looked toward Heaven I could see Stars for the first time in weeks,  one hour later the sky was overcast, thick and heavy, but smoke free, I mean, for the most part .   I still hadn't determined the Sychronistic Factor of (for) the Smoke ... .

                                                           I was in no condition to watch or even observe trump's address last night .  9 o'clock is one hour from sleep-time---plus, "IT" had been a grueling week and I was weak from both physical and mental exhaustion ;  still, I summoned what I could, mostly driven by a sideways but heartfelt Wish that somehow trump would 'stroke-out' under heavy lights and camara focus .  Obviously, no such luck .

                         Even the 'Honored' among the Media Class have cautioned :  "If his lips are moving, he's lying" .  So it was last night .   Every word he spoke had been spoken in the 'Before Times' .   Those of us who monitor the News had heard every word, every sentence, what was NU were the declarations surrounding Chinese Influence, trump openly declaring THIS time that China was ANTI-TRUMP to the extent that Chinese Energies were committed to trump's Failure .   He cited some instances of analysis that he and his considered HUGELY Important to the acceptance of HIS Truth(s) ; specifically, if China hadn't been a "Playah":  he would have won .   It's horseshit of course.  MULTIPLE Agencies investigated the initial claims and found NO EVIDENCE that China had /Results changing\  Effect .   Trump was "full of shit", as always .   

                      I love "full of shit" because it is so timely, what with the Diarrhea Pandemic at large and infecting the Peoples of over 35 States .    Trump's 'delivery' was Diarrheal ,  he was so full of shit it "came out" with nauseating stench you could smell through the TV screen,  {{{"Smell-o-vision"}}} .

                                                            During all the "brew-ha-ha" [ correctly spelled = brouhaha] around trump's birthday in which he transmogrified the NATION'S BIRTHDAY, there was not one mention of "The SPIRIT of 1776" .   This >Spirit< was manifestation of the Patriotic Ideals and Revolutionary FERVOR that was deployed as Mental WEAPONRY to neutralize the British Rule over the Colonies, and to STRENGTHEN the Inner Resolve of ALL soon-to-be Americans .    No mention, not even once .   

                        There is Will and then there is Spirit .   I contend BOTH are needed if we are to advance into the Future with steadfast assuredness .   Zen Master Steve Winwood {of "Traffic" Fame} lyrics :  "Spirit is something no one destroys", meaning, Spirit CANNOT be Destroyed .  I Believe him. I Believe THAT .

                      Devoted Buddhists insist on this --->  "We are all Buddhas" and Christianity adds, "The Spirit of GOD lies within us" .   All we must do is BELIEVE and when Belief is short in coming, we turn to AA and IT'S Profound Wisdom :   "Fake it until you make it."   We can translate fake to be >pretend< and also "Make Believe" .   I love this .

                                                           It is necessary to /hold\ 2 'things' simultaneously, the first, employing our Mental Energies to broadcast our NEED to End the War, which is an adjunct to the Defeat of trump and trumpism, and the NEED to modify, alter or completely Transform Democracy so that "IT" can function as it once did, to BE "The WILL of the MAJORITY", which is the second .   "Ain't nothin' e-z here Kids, not one thing .  But if we're gonna succeed we "Gotta do what we gotta do, and we gotta TRAIN for what we gotta do" as Boxing Champion Bobby Chacon once Wisdomed* .   From Elsewhere we have heard, "This ain't no time to stay the same", here it is where the Practices of Old have PROVEN at best UNRELIABLE and at worst Cruelly Deformative .    It ain't-gonna be enough to reinstate Systems that 'worked' "Once upon a time" :  these very Systems led us to Disaster and Calamity, and not just because they were "worn out", but because the Essential Ingredient, that is, VIGILANCE was NOT 'employed' to monitor those Systems, which then led to >Mutations< that resulted to the evaporation of Truth, first on a Primal Social Level, and then on a Scientific Level, which resulted in a Society and Culture reminiscent of the Dark Ages .   Indeed I have written of Such, and claimed that trump and his have ushered in the Nu Dark Ages camouflaged as "Make America Great Again" .

                                                           We have work to do .  The End of the War has yet to reach ANY horizon, and the way things are going "IT" will continue in horrific Ugliness .    ALL of most of us are familiar with, "In times of Peace prepare for War" but the second half is just as vital, "... in times of War prepare for Peace . "   The Work we need to do IS the Preparation for Peace .  There' will be Argument, and "IT" is completely justifiable, that Fighting the War and WINNING, is the Goal at hand and most definitely that is the "Order of the day" each and every day---|---  but "IT" isn't enough, Thought MUST-BE given to End Times and we must salvage what we can from failings and broken mechanisms that can be repaired or re-purposed to suit Prevailing Conditions .   We do this because a complete "Re-build" is probably gonna-be too costly and too time consuming if not flat out "Labor Intense" .  We gotta go with what we have, what is readily available, in order to advance into the Future .

                                                           I have yet to formulate a suitable definition for "Will" .   It's obvious that >Will< is also a guarantor of Effort, and when I suggest that it requires Effort to actualize Effort from where does this Energy reside besides in the location of Interest ?    /Will\ must be considered Instinctual, because of the "Will to Live" via the Instinct of Self-Preservation .   I still consider this THIS clumsy if not flat-out Awkward .   

                           We can ascribe the Force of Nature to Will, but there is scant comfort in that .   I'm hard-pressed to qualify Effort as a "Force of Nature" but it's there with all the rest of Cosmic Forces .   Unsettling, like, or sure .   

                             I turned to my HERO Dr. William James and his volume, THE WILL TO BELIEVE and other essays in popular philosophy in the hope of finding just one key sentence, but I put very little Effort in my search and found what is below to place in its stead :

                            I was working an Age-Group softball game, Girls between the ages of 10 to twelve,  it was a comfortable day but the girls headed toward their positions with mope and draaag,  the game wuz-gonna take HOURS at their pace so I called out GIRLS  MOVE TO YOUR POSITIONS WITH ALACRITY !..  Their  response  was  instantaneous   'WHAT IS ALACRITY ???'    I yelled  ENTHUSIASM .    They giggled .

                          Between games I asked a few of their Moms about their daughters lack of >>>Enthusiasm<<<  One Mom said that they would rather being doing something else, another confessed,  "I just want them out of the house DOING something" .   Another chirped, "This is better than watching TV" .    I shook my head {are you fucking kidding me (?) .

                          Learning requires EFFORT ---that's why Report Cards have EFFORT alongside Grade, clearly one's Grade is partially determined by the amount of EFFORT that  one expends .  Here's where "I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THIS SUBJECT, becomes a Foundation for Future FAILURE .   Whim and Fancy are ANATHEMA to Education .

                            There have been posts on Facebook showing the Misery in Russia, gas lines, queues, that e----x----t----e----n----d for MILES .   "IT" seems IMPOSSIBLE that the Peoples of Russia would "take it to the Streets" to express their MALCONTENT but clearly something is builDING .   Americans, on the other hand, still lack great ACTION, Protests have netted only 7 million folks and these Protests have been FEW in number, barely 61% of the population have expressed dissatisfaction, not enough, not anywhere NEAR enough, I mean shit, what's it gonna take for the remainder ???????

                                                           The Saudis are among those trying to effect their own Solution to the Strait Jacket Problem that trump is wearing~~~  they have indicated a Willingness to conduct their own Diplomatic Talks with Iran .  Elsewhere I have argued that the WORLD must place its Attention on the War, as it did when HITLER was in Power ~~~~ that trump has enmeshed the entire PLANET in his Mental Machinations, and for the World continue to AVOID entering this CRISIS is a demonstration of GROSS miscalculation .   "IT"  >IS< 'Common Sense' to think that because trump broke "IT"  HE should be responsible for its Repair, but look at what as been the Result of THIS ~Common Sense~ =  abject FAILURE .   No--------- trump ain't-gonn do "IT", his Imbecility is fucking CHRONIC and worse, "IT" 's contagious .

                            After getting the Reports you wanna-figure that each nation effected by the Strait's <Closure< is supremely motivated to enter Diplomatic Talks with Iran, THAT too is "Common Sense" .   Here it is where I BELIEVE that trump must be {you guessed it} SHUNNED by the Global Heads who have taken the Posture they used to when putin annexed Crimea and INVADED Ukraine --- which many argue was a mere "slap on the wrist" .   Presently the World HAS "come around" especially the E.U. as IT has supplied Ukraine with BILLIONS in American ---> "Hardware" to assist Ukraine's War Effort .  They have CLEARLY >>>>>>>>>>PUT THEIR MONEY WHERE THEIR MOUTH IS and their Joint Efforts are Commendable and dare I say NOBLE .   

                             The E.U. has helped Ukraine TURN THE WAR AROUND , meaning, Ukraine is now considered as WINNING the War, in that MOSCOW can and IS "under fire" from Ukraine War Technologies, and these Interior Attacks now have russians BEGGING for an End .   Putin as been forced to withdraw anti-missile batteries from the Front Lines to Moscow itself .

The "South East Draaaaaaaaag"

                                                           I was STUNNED to see so many Iranians in the Streets honoring a man who mercilessly SLAUGHTERED THOUSANDS of his Own, however Reports have been filed that reveal the Conditions for such a Mass Event, and to THIS Point, it is now known  that Iranians were subject to SEVERE PUNITIVE MEASURES and even DEATH were they to avoid participation in the Funeral .   THE FUNERAL WAS STAGED, with the same critically Cruel aplomb {not the best word} that trump has used at HIS rallies and the most recent Nero-nian Event on OUR White House Grounds .   *Appalling*  gets Us to `there` . 

                          In one of his songs off of "The Wild, the Innocent, and the E-Street Shuffle" Bruce recounts the time he got on the "Tilt-O-Whirl" located on the "South East Drag" and his shirt "Got caught" which kept him "spinning" to the point where he began to think he would "NEVER get off" .   That's trump ,  his 'shirt got caught' and now he's spinning, spinning, spinning out of control and NO fucking way to "get off" .   Go figure ... .

                        So now we're "Back at "IT" , the War RAGES and it seems like "It ain't never gonna stop" .

                                                           Trump's post meeting speech was yet another rhetorical debacle .   I listened in constrained horror-- it was excruciating .   At times he babbled, at points he was incoherent, you couldn't miss the times he seemed addled, most of the times what he said was incomprehensible .   However the speech, if it can be tagged as such, was NOT inscrutable --- we KNOW his Psychological Deformities, we KNOW pretty much ALL of his negative characteristics, flaws and political Perversions, indeed, we LIVE his Madness,,, still, his speech was TERRIFYING .   I sat still and sickened .

                            I promised my Gentle Readers that I would try and make Sense of Current Events, that's the Nature of "Social Commentary",,,   but I confess, I am "at a loss" to make ANY >Sense< that does NOT include the Condition that trump and his are Criminally Insane .  At the front of this Condition is trump's DELUSIONS, his statements on the present REALITY of his attempts at Peace, calling his Enemy "CUCKOO" and slapping their  faces with 3rd grade Slurs and 7th grade Repudiations REEKS of a Mind gone "South" -//- a Mind addled by Age, deformed by Pressures resulting from Energies applied by those of us also stricken by his Cruelty and Carelessness .

                                                           "Captain Obvious" was overheard stating "Words matter" .   I have ALWAYS been in contention with Zen and its "No dependence on words or letters" .  I insist even Zen NEEDS ---> Words if it is to be expressed verbally .    I told my Zen Sword Students that we need a 'WORKING VOCABULARY' if we and Zen are to be properly received and and Understood ---THAT'S why we need the Sutras and Sastras, as they provide such Words .  We need to become familiar with the words of Communism and subsequently its definition(s) --- Socialism as well, of course.  

                             We live in an Era {ERROR} where the words of Propaganda generate HORRIFIC Effects , but we must NOT succumb to "ITS" deleterious manifestations .  We can avoid "Pointless Suffering" by familiarizing ourselves with the speech and vernacular that has ruthlessly victimized the Kind and Unassuming ---  Propaganda CAN BE NEUTRALIZED by UNREMITTING EFFORT, Effort that employs Logic and Reasoning and a fucking STRONG Lexicography that enhances our Working Vocabulary .   

                             Perhaps a modest definition of Propaganda may be "Weaponized Words" .   "IT" ain't just "A War of the Worlds" [tho it is}, "IT" is the War of the WORDS .   I mean, shit, WE HAVE A HEAD START because trump "don't speak the english no good" .  We Fight Power with Power, and therefore we need to Fight Words with Words .

                        Trump has weaponized Communism, which implies Violent Revolution, and subsequently considers such Revolutionary Violence as TREASONOUS .   From the quote above we now KNOW that Socialism is NON-VIOLENT and purely dependent upon REFORM -->  RE FORM .   "IT" is NOT a "leap" to suggest that Politics and Political Discussion could and SHOULD lead to REFORM that has as its Goal Political Altruism .   We're talkin' Reformation NOT Revolution SILK not SANDPAPER , WORDS not BULLETS .  There is Nobility in one       Savagery in the other .

                                                            I am of the Belief that Familiarity begets Tolerance {I love quoting myself} .   In this vein was mined the following definition of Communism :

                           I found it necessary to read The Communist Manifesto and my copy is among "The Norton Critical Editions" which was/is edited by Frederic L. Bender and includes "Prefaces by Marx and Engels ---Annotated Text ---Sources and Backgrounds ---History of Marxism --- Interpretation".

                           I appeared to be mentally Ill when I found a copy of Marx's Capital -- Volume 1, it is a BEHEMOTH  "weighing in" at ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FORTY-ONE Pages which absolutely defines DAUNT .  I was able to devote barely three hours to IT before I decided I needed something else, something EZ-ER .   As Luck would have it I managed{somehow} to procure The Philosophy of Hegel edited by one Carl J. Friedrich to which I have devoted not even ONE second .  Both stand ready to be consumed should my mental illness abate somewhat --- but I am proud to have them as part of my George Orwell `Shelf` --- {Ridiculous of course} .  

                          In the "Manifesto"   there is one sentence that stands out, it is :

                                                 "Marx and Engels looked to class war and revolution to overturn the prevailing system .  Moreover, they viewed the proletarian revolution as inevitable and as historically determined by economic forces ."

                            Not only does this "look familiar" it FEELS familiar .

                                                           I would LOVE to keep "IT" on the level of Kiddie Lit description, and suggest that "Sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me" --- that trump is using words to attack and condemn "Socialist Democrats" and that these words, because of their self-nature, CANNOT inflict Harm upon ANYBODY, but that would be to Deny the Truth of american gullibility  and naivety ( ... ) .   Words DO hurt, EVRYONE KNOWS THAT .  Trump's labels and tags are WEAPONS , weapons that he and his wield with merciless Precision .   

                              Folks, Pundits, Brains and SUPER-Brains are insisting that trump, himself, is TERRIFIED of "Democratic Socialism", that what he FEARS is a DEFEAT delivered at the hands and Swords of Democrats ESPECIALLY the "Up and Coming" Socialists .  I'm not gonna use [the] "Blue Scare", instead, I'm gonna apply the tag, Blue CARE .   Korny* rite* ?   Red Scare versus Blue Care .  

                              For a while I had two Marxist-Leninists for house-mates --- these guys were my closest friends but I must confess, I HATED that I knew so little about popularized Communism, that I may have had to become familiar with their Ideologies so I could be a "good" friend ~~~~ but ultimately I just sed* Fuck it, I had my own issues as a struggling English Major, German Philosophies were NOT on my Agenda, so, I mean, there's THAT .  

Red Scars

                                                           "And the hits just keeeeeeep on comin' " .    Trump and his are now conjuring Communist Demons through the use of the 'NU' "Red Scare" .   BRILLIANT I say, true GENIUS .   Ya-gotta hand it to these freaks , they access Demonic Energies like they OWN all the Negativity on the Planet and dare I include the Universe .   It doesn't matter that trump may or may NOT be responsible for the Conjure, no one wants to give him credit for ANY sort of Intelligence but I am DONE with that .   Demons and Sorcerers do not need a High I.Q. they just need the Curses, and the Will to inflict Suffering on the "Huddled Masses" .    I mean, shit, ya jus'-gotta "Give credit where credit is due" .    I do so now.

                             We've learned that there were actually TWO "Red Scares" the first from 1917 to 1920 and the second from 1947 to 1954 :  it is the second within which trump was born --- he was born into the Red Scare as his birthdate indicates .  He was certainly VERY young,  but the so-called "after-effects" still influenced American Society and Culture --- I insist he was aware of the Red Scare as a kid, I also contend that, like certain commercials, the  "IT" stayed with him to surface now as Propaganda .   As the "Big Bad Wolf" he won't just "Huff and Puff and Blow your house down", he will huff and puff and SCARE YOU TO DEATH .   

                            Ya-gotta figure that Kennedy, too, was subject to the Red Scare Propaganda, remember that he and his brother made the Determination to Confront and Obstruct the Advance of Communism in Viet Nam .   Kennedy felt "obliged" to try and HALT the Advance and he and his embarked on a Campaign to rally Americans around the Flag of Democracy that he and his gain Sanction and Affirmation to enter War .   "We seen that movie" we KNOW "it don't end nice" .
