                                                           In the same way that joe "ain't-gonna" beat any Sense into trump, so it is with the presidents and prime ministers of the E.U.   They have claimed, "This ain't our War" and DEFINTIELY >that< is TRUTH .   It must be noted that PUTIN is the Source of EU Oil  and that HE supplies the EU with MOST of the petroleum that flows from RUSSIA  THROUGH UKRAINE -----and to Anger putin is to THREATEN their (get this) "Daily Bread" .   NO ONE has "beaten" any Sense into putin and it is unlikely that ANY ONE will even ATTEMPT to "beat some Sense" into trump .   It is as if "Beating" has been beaten  .

                           Despite the  North Vietnamese POUNDING Iran has endured, like  North Vietnam, Iran has Persevered and now "holds" what appears to be a "Winning Hand" .   Trump on the OTHER Hand holds "Aces and Eights" .

                           It's a "STALEMATE", Chess parlance for, "If any one moves, they will be defeated".  

                           The Question then becomes = Who can "hold-out" the longest?" .

                           The Peoples of Iran are being held hostage by their own Government which will KILL any and all Protesters .    What about the Peoples of America ?

                                                          Yesterday we were informed that >Pod-caster< Joe Rogan made a call to trump to support the use of LSD and other hallucinogens in Medical Research and Practice .  It took BARELY one day for trump to acknowledge joe's request and sign an EO to establish such Research and Practice .    Many of us were fucking DUMBSTRUCK, {struck by DUMB} and this "incident" begs for this syllogism :   "If joe can ask to legalize LSD, then why can't he ask trump to RESIGN ?" .   Even on its FACE the syllogism appears ABSURD if not flat-out PREPOSTEROUS .   Joe has been shocked by trump's FAILURE to "Keep his word" on Domestic Problem Solving and Foreign Policy, but that Shock has NOT been transferred to Contempt nor a halcyon CALL for trump's Removal .   Is joe a "BAD Person" for NOT "stating the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth" ?   I wanna say YES, but....... .    Joe is only NORMAL, he's HUMAN just as all of us, and its HUMAN NATURE to "look out for" one's OWN .   Joe doesn't want to lose ANYTING because he "HAS IT SO GOOD",  he "WANTS FOR NOTHING" ,  and so all he must do is "tow his own line", meaning, keep his people happy by telling them WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR .  Here it is where >TRUTH< DOES NOT 'PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE' " .   

                            Joe is representative of those once republican congress folks whose main, and perhaps ONLY Objective, is to stay "in POWER" BY ANY AND ALL MEANS POSSIBLE .   Same with trump .   Truth is useless .

Know Return

                                                           I know that using 'hysteria' is, perhaps, too 'strong' and that it may even be inappropriate or worse, incorrect .   Thing is, Hysteria dissipates, meaning, Hysteria "runs its course" and, inevitably, it results in Exhaustion .   

                            There's a fabulous scene on one of the "Airplane" comedies that gets me to where I want to be .   A passenger gets "Hysterical" and is confronted by a "Do Gooder" who SLAPS him, presumably to "Beat some SENSE into him" .   Fellow passengers get in line to participate, among them a NUN !!!  It's TOOOO FUNNY and I hazard, "Hysterical".   Moderate Hysteria can be neutralized by this "Beat down", a beatdown whose objective is to RETURN the Hysterical to a SENSIBLE Reality .   I argue that trump and his CANNOT be 'returned' to a Sensible Reality because --->   "You can't make steak from hamburger"  meaning, they have "gone past the point of Return" .

                                                           Reports of trump's "meltdowns" have hit the broadcast airwaves and I could NOT help but detect a hint of "glee" in the voices of said broadcasters .   Trump's rampages are the Result of his FAILED Efforts to end HIS War on HIS Terms .   Trump has been FORCED to "look at himself in the Mirror of the World"  and the Image reflected is one of abject and destructional* FAILURE .    He LITERALLY is forced to see himself, as he REALLY is, which causes him such TREMENDOUS Bitterness and with that, RAGE and FURY .   We could use the term, "Acting Out" to describe trump, and it would be CLOSE to the Truth, but clearly, that "IT"  "ain't enough" .    No, trump is MENTALLY ILL . Now THAT, gets us to "There" .   The FACT that trump is Mentally Ill has done NOTHING to prevent him from embroiling the WORLD in a form of (dare I say) Hysteria .   Those "on the inside" have claimed trump has gotten HYSTERICAL  because of all his CATACLYSMAL Machinations .   I insist that Hysteria is CONTAGIOUS and that the World has been Afflicted .    Hysteria somehow MEANS the loss of Reasoning and Logic, and it induces a sort of "Catatonia" that results in MASSIVE  >Inaction< .

                                                           At some point I MUST introduce the Ancient Chinese 'practice' of "Putting things up against a COSMIC Background" .   Things are placed up against a Cosmic Background in order to reveal 'Positioning', meaning, to help and aid in an Understanding that is dependent upon "Pattern Recognition" which just happens to be one of Arnold Toynbee's "Super-Powers" .   For my purposes this Cosmic Background is World Socio-Political Evolution .   Specifically, I have wondered whether or  not Hitler and Hitlerism, was 'inserted' (tough one) into Civilization in order to 'Transform" the World by 'Uniting Countries and Nations' to not only Oppose Fascism but to "Stop" it 'in its tracks' .   

                               Now trump has been Inserted, but there has been NO such Unification by countries nor nations, No REAL Effort save to Condemn trump and his ruthless War Machine .   It is as if this FAILURE simply 'follows' the Trajectory laid bare by putin and HIS War on Ukraine .   It is as if BECAUSE there was no Great Unification to STOP putin, that the Universe ADDED trump and HIS War Machine as a BIGGER --->  WAKE-UP Call .   Have we --->   "Awakened" ?

                                                            Pope Lion has been regaled as a Spiritual "Delicacy" but he is so much MORE than just Eye and Heart "Candy" .   He is "A MAN OF THE PEOPLE" .    When he became Pope he refused to have the Papal Palace as his Residence, choosing in its stead, the "workers" housing .   During the "Celebration of the Passion" HE was the One who "carried the Cross" during this most INTENSE Ritual .  His Folks were APOPLEXICALLY ECSTATIC because HE WAS ONE OF THEM !!!   Does trump register as "A man of the people" ?   Who in their RIGHT Mind is-gonna argue "Oh yeah" ?

                                                           Parlor  pundits have expressed the "Debate" between trump and the Lion as America versus The Holy Roman EMPIRE --  I mean, yeah, I suppose .   Thing is Pope Lion has SAINT AUGUSTINE within him, meaning, Saint Augustine's THINKING is Inmost Core Element of Pope Lion's Heart, Psyche and SOUL .   Pope Lion has ALL Saint Augustine's Rhetoric and Polemics within him and they are IMMEDIATELY Available to him AT ALL TIMES .   Trump can't POSSIBLY 'compete' with SAINT  Pope Leo because, "right out of the gate" TRUMP "ain't got no SOUL"  whereas Pope Leo is an ALMIGHTY  --->   "SOUL MAN" .   {{{ Just so you know, "Soul Man" is from the R&B Artists "Sam and Dave" in 1967}}} .

                           We have agreed that trump is "Heartless"  and I insist he has NO Soul .   But what does that even mean ?    Elsewhere I have contended that the Soul is an Energy Force that is DIRECTLY CONNECTED to Universal Energy which is manifested as "Spirit" .   We speak of "The Spirit of Life" and Native Americans refer to this Spirit as "THE GREAT SPIRIT"  ---   Technically , OUR Souls are the same as that of the Universal Infinite .   Trump has no such "Bond" with the Infinite .   He IS Human but I argue ---> BARELY .

                          

                           

                        

Saint Augustine

                                                           I was SENSATIONALY DELIGHTED when I learned that Pope Lion was an "Augustine" .   On "war footing" I am a DEVOUT Jesuit, on societal footing I am a DEVOUT Franciscan, but on hedonist footing I am a DEVOUT Augustine .    

                            Before Saint Augustine became a Saint he lived among US as a quasi-hedonist and an Intellectual who was interested in ALL  the GREAT QUESTIONS of his Time .   He sought ANSWERS by confronting the Great Teachers  and was considered to be EARNEST in his Cravings .   But then there were all the Temptations that Life presented, the Booze, Broads and skank-ass REVELRY that indicated pure Hedonism .  Safe to say he was a devotee .  

                            Augustine was SOOO "out of whack" his Mom REFUSED to Baptize him UNTIL HE WAS IN HIS 20'S (30's ?) .   She wanted his Soul to be Pure  BEFORE he got Baptized   >THAT< was never gonna happen so she had to relent .   Of course he was Baptized and we know what happened after THAT .

                            I encountered St. Augustine in  Dr. Langer's "Western Civ." Class wherein The Confessions was recommended  Reading .   Once I began reading it I couldn't put it down .  It wasn't as if he devoted himself to "eroticising the landscape" but I could smell the fumes of stale wine when he described his drinking episodes --- he was THAT 'good' .   

                          Augustine AGONIZED over the "Great Questions" --- he committed to finding the ANSWERS with his Mind, Body Heart and Soul and in this he was RELENTLESS .   But here's his present-day Relevance :   SAINT Augustine wrote :  The City of God .   St. Augustine wrestled with GOVERNMENT ,  St. Augustine dealt in POLITICS .  How fucking GREAT is THAT ????? !!!!!

Enmity

                                                           There's been evidence-laden conjecture that the Reason why trump is OBSESSED with Pope Leo "The Lion" is because of (get this)  JEALOUSY .  Some are arguing that trump CAN'T BEAR to be the SECOND Most Powerful American on the Planet and therefore he CAN'T LIVE because he NEEDS TO BE >THE< MOST POWERFUL American on the Globe at this point in Time .   I will concede a >>>>MAYBE<<<< and that's it .   

                               I risk being >Romantic< when I argue that >PERHAPS< there's another Reason for trump's Pope Derangement Syndrome  .   I am  HUGE Fan of Miracles and because of THAT I want to view the Pope's entry onto the World Stage as a RESULT of the Prayers, Supplications and Beseechments* offered to the Divine Infinite in the Hope (I hate Hope) that these Prayers, Supplications and Beseechments be Answered by God in such a manner that STOPS trump "in his tracks" .   HAVE millions upon millions Prayed, Supplicated and Beseeched The Almighty to rain down Grace, in the Forms of Love, Compassion and, [this is BLASPHEMOUS] ENMITY ???????

The Serenity Supplication

                                                           We sometimes hear of an Individual who attempted to "Drown his Sorrows  by swilling booze",,,,,, as a DRUNK I URGE my Gentle Readers DON'T DO THAT .   Booze AIN'T-GONNA reach your SOUL, only correct  Mind Energy CAN .   

                              It is far better to fully ACKNOWLEDGE one's Sorrow not just as an "Ocean of Suffering" but as a Change Agent I have described above .   Here it is where we can make the Vows and Promises TO OURSELVES which will then be added to our Psyche as PERMANET Fortifications .   

                              There is a "First Step" that MAY be applied as a Management Qualifier and it has been used by AA since before the World was even Created ...  it is considered by AA members as a Prayer .   It is this supplication :

                                                    "God grant me the Serenity to Accept the things I cannot Change,

                                                       The Courage to Change the things I can

                                                       And the Wisdom to know the difference. "

                                This is Truth.

Mindfulness

                                                           We find "Medicine" in Huey Lewis and The News.   They song, "...making each day better than the day before", and for sure, this THIS is the "Ideal" .   I KNOW I can make this day better than yesterday if I confess that the 9th SUPER-Power of a Bodhisattva =  "Making People turn toward the Buddha's Teaching and then Guiding them to Perfection [Enlightenment]" actually helps to DEFINE my Existence and offering the 8-Fold  Nobel Path is my OBLIGATION an DUTY as a Zen Sword'sMan .    It  is IMPERATIVE that my Gentle Readers be made aware that during Zen Master Seung Sahn's "Ministry" he was asked to give a "Dharma Talk" by American Priests, Bishops and even Cardinals, who wanted to be "Closer to Jesus and His Teachings .   I say, God Bless Them, their Heart and SOULS were in "The Right Place" .   In the same way that [the Study and Practice of]  Martial Arts benefits ALL Sports, so it is that Zen and Buddhism CAN Benefit ALL Religions .  

                      OBVIOUSLY< you do NOT hafta-BE a Buddhist or Zen Buddhist to properly manage Suffering and Sorrow, you jus'-gotta be Mindful of the Source of this 'management', because when you do that, you access A THOUSAND YEARS of POSITIVE  >>> MIND ENERGY that is itself PROVEN, that has withstood the RAVAGES of Time and it SAVAGE-NESS .   

" The Three ---> Bears"

                                                           Once we have [correctly] identified Sorrow as a manifestation of Suffering we can re-position Sorrow to its place within the Realm of the 4 Noble Truths ;  All Existence entails Suffering {Sorrow}. :    Suffering is caused by Craving ;  There is and end to Suffering ;  and the most important to this morning's Effort,  The 8-fold Nobel Path MANAGES Suffering .   In the same way that Suffering can be Managed so it is with Sorrow .   Bear in Mind that Sorrow is a FORCE that strikes us, and that this Force is, in part, a "Change Agent" --- it need NOT "drag us down" because of its WEIGHT ,,, as noted above, The Force of Sorrow CAN-BE utilized, I dare say it MUST-BE utilized, {harnessed} , to facilitate not only 'Protective' 'measures', but to advance "Change for the Better" .   

                             The question then arises, "What is the Nature of this "Better" ?

Sadness versus Sorrow

                                                           Sadness runs a spectrum from =  "I'm so sad this great day has to end" all the way to "I am sad and "Heart-broken" .    We feel sad when our Heart "breaks" but Sadness allows for "Consolation", we can be "consoled" .   I don't believe that Sorrow allows Consolation--- .    We say ,  "We are "Sorrow STRICKEN",  Literally, We are STRUCK by Sorrow, and I contend that it is not just our Heart that Feels its Effects, but it is, rather, our SOUL .   

                            In the same way that Sadness is the Cause of a "Heavy Heart", so it is that Sorrow somehow "deadens" our Soul, and perhaps here "Leaden" is a better choice,  Sorrow LEADENS our Soul and somehow becomes a part of our Being,  unlike Sadness, which can be   --->    dispelled .

                             To be stricken by Sorrow means to be transformed --- we say, "I will never be the same" .    Indeed, once stricken by Sorrow we DO "Change", most often this Change is for the Better , we make vows that protect us from the Pain of Suffering, we say, "Well I'll never do THAT again."  And for the most part, these vows DO INDEED Protect us .   The Vows AFFIRM and STRENGTHEN our Inner Resolve to AVOID SUFFERING or at the very least to NEUTRALIZE the Effects of Sorrow in such a way that allows us to LESSEN its weight, {Sorrow as BURDEN} .   

Fear and Sorrow

                                                           Each night around 8 o'clock, I get on my bed and begin stretching movements .    I ingest a bit of THC, micro-dose,  and allow my Imagination to 'run free' .   I listen to Music because of its 'medicinal effects' and because it sometimes reveals Secrets .   Now HOW these 'conditions' lead to the Secrets is a discussion for another day .   Suffice it to say that when the Mind is 'relaxed' it becomes supple and pliant, meaning, it becomes 'Receptive' ,,, indeed, it's a something that, we tune our radios so that we can "receive" the radio waves that are the Communication.  You could say, I was "tuned in" for Cosmic ~~~waves~~~ and 'vibrations' .

                            Two 'items' arrived .   The first is a parallel to "More Covid cannot 'fix' Covid" and it is "Adversity cannot be 'fixed' by even more Adversity" .   The second caused me instant Pain, it is :   "You know we are in a Cesspool of Suffering when the only "Shared Commonalities" of the Planet's Peoples are >Fear<    and    >Sorrow< .     It Hurt me last night, it Hurts me now .

                            Who knows more about "Fear" and "Sorrow" than the Gazans and the West Bankers and those of Lebanon ???   I will insist that Americans do as well, having been witness to the "Street Executions" of    TWO AMERICAN CITIZENS .    Can and SHOULD I compare the THOUSANDS "EXECUTED" in Iran with the Two Citizens and the 13 Soldiers who were KIA ?   Yes, Polemics allow me such latitude and I WILL advantage it .  

                           You'd wanna * believe that "shared commonalities" are the Essentials of Life, the Need for Food, Water, Shelter and Electricity and there can be NO argument for THAT .  But how is it that "Fear" and "Sorrow" are added to these "Essentials" ?   I wondered............ .  then it 'arrived' ,  >>>Horror<<< = Fear and Sorrow have become 'part' of our Daily Consciousness,  We live with them, they DEFINE our Existence ....................................... .

                                                           I must leave 'this' here with a Confession :  I haven't had this much FUN since I received "oral gratification" from the "Queen-Goddess of the Universe", which is "saying something" .   Of course I must include the GUILT of Expression, bad mouthing the Church for its CRIMINAL PERVERSIONS  should  NOT be a Sin, but I was raised CATHOLIC so, I mean, there's THAT .  

                           In another Universe trump would have beseeched the Pope to be an ALLY that he could rely on to approach the Ayatollah with Peace Offerings .   THIS Universe is REALITY .   To >unwittingly< Incite the IRE of ONE POINT THREE BILLIONS is the Action from a Mind that is HELL-BENT on Determining GLOBAL CATASTROPHE, indeed, the Suffering trump and his have already generated is, literally, INHUMAN , but does it register as DEMONIC ????   I leave that question to hang ........ .

                          Mathew quotes Jesus :   "I did NOT come to bring Peace, I came to bring SWORD ".  As such, Jesus wields , "The Sword of NO Sword", made FAMOUS by the Great Swordsman, Zen Master and Warrior, >Tesshu< .  

                           I see myself as a Manifestation of Zen and Sword-Master Tesshu, and I am DEVOTED to Jesus AS A NO-SWORD SWORDSMAN .   Here it is that Pope Leo THE LION is "in" my Mind, Heart, Body and Soul as a WARRIOR of Christ .

                                                          Trump "takin' on" the Holy Roman EMPIRE is like Custer asking for MORE "Injuns' .   Ya jus'-gotta "shake your head" in abject BEWLIDERMENT .   Trumplicans EVERYWHERE are doing just that, shaking their heads in abject Bewilderment because, "Hasn't he got enough fucking shit 'on his plate' ALREADY ?"  Trump's a fucking MENTAL CASE, we KNOW that, but THIS ???????  

                             It's been reported that even Catholic Conservatives have denounced trump and renounced his War.   That they voted for trump, in the first place, questions their Conscience :  it is EXTREMELY difficult to believe they had SACRED Jesus Values as their Spiritual Foundation ~~~ could they not SEE, could they not HEAR ?   Ya-gotta figure it was MONEY, it always is, rich assholes looking for a Tax Break, AT THE EXPENSE OF US  JUS' REG'LAR FOLKS .   Here it is where even THIS must be "let go" in order to Serve the Greater Populace of the Faithful .   I don't like it ....                           I grew-uP Catholic, PORTUGUESE Catholic to be specific, and I even attended a "Parochial" school from kindergarten to second grade --- I mean, there's THAT .    Children to not "get to" 'challenge' Church Dogma, the Growth Tendency is ALWAYS toward submission and obedience, as it should be .   It wasn't until I took Dr. Langer's "Western Civ." Course that I encountered the "Holy See" and the Crusades, and the Inquisition and all the Religious Polemics who doubled as Christian Philosophers and Scholars .   I wasn't just "comfortable" with these Studies, it was as if I had `found my Home` .   Later on, Senior Year, I took Dr. What's-his-name's History of the Middle East where I was introduced to the Quran and Islamic Studies, where, oddly, I was just as "comfortable" .   

                         During the course of the dark Middle Ages we learned of Papal Corruption, that depended on the "largess" of Rulers, Kings and the "Piety" of the peasants who were told they could garner "Favor with God" should they donate SIGNIFICANT  amounts of Food, and whatever monies they derived from their labors .   Here it is where abject POVERTY was the Foundation for Spiritual Attainment ,  Here it is where, initially, one COULD "Petition the Lord" and be "cleared" for DIRECT ACCESS to the "Heavenly Realm" .   Here it is where the Church "favored" the Peasants, and sought to BILK the so-called "FUCK" out of them, until they turned to Stone, at which point the king and rulers sought "BLOOD" .

                           Elsewhere I have argued that the Failure to Acknowledge the "Lessons of History" has accounted for UNTOLD SUFFERING as does the FAILURE to "realize" {Real Eyes} REALITY .   The ONLY way we can 'understand' the EU is to accept the FACT that they WILLINGLY "turned a blind eye" to putin and his dictatorial FASCISM in order for it to receive the Oil they so desperately NEED .   The REALITY is that the EU NEEDS OIL, further, it CHOSE to get it from Russia first and putin second .   Here it is where "No Oil No Life" DOMINATES  the EU Collective Psyche and we can safely conclude that SAME for the rest of the Planet's Industrial Machines .

                                                           It's difficult for me to understand what "One Fifth" of the Oil the World NEEDS, "looks like" in the most `abstract` sense .   EIGHTY PER CENT of  what the World needs is still available and I've wondered WHY the remainder of Oil Producers can't "cover" the 20% Loss .   I was under the 'impression' that China bought RUSSIAN Oil, as did SOME of the Far East .    What happened to Russian Oil ?

                             I sat STUNNED-----if anything requires a WHAT-THE-FUCK it was her and her Statements .   I mean, WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MOST HATED WAR EVER NON-DECLARED  BY AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT, and she took THIS TIME to try and extricate herself from the choking clutches of Epstein and the GLOBAL COVER-UP ?????!!!!!    Wow .

                                                          When I finished last night's "R+R" I was content with writing about the "Plight" of American Farmers who voted for trump and now must "SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES" .   They "made their bed" and now they must "lie in it" .   I have no Sympathy .  You want to Believe that after the first trump term, where his policies TERMINATED China as GLOBAL Customer, that these Farmers would have learned and as a result DENIED trump their votes .    We know, THEY DID NOT LEARN and instead DOUBLED their support for him .   

                            Many of the hardest hit Farmers grew soy to sell to China .   These Farmers SPECIALIZED in ONE crop , and have MILLIONS invested in farm machinery that can be used only for this one crop .   They did NOT seek to DE-Specialize , I mean, realistically how could they ?   But , TECHNICALLY, their >rigidity of thinking< prevented them from de-centralizing, from planting different crops to neutralize the effects of trump's brainless Tariff-ism* .   Where the Oedipal Complex NEEDED to be considered, = to KILL one's father, they chose to ACCEPT trump as a father that "could do no wrong" .

                            I shouldn't be gloating, for gloating is DYS-Honorable .   Still ... .   Things are what they are, and these Farmers are what THEY "are" .
