Winwood and Jennings

                                                     The first line in the first Song of Steve Winwood's "Back In The High Life" album/CD is this :

                                 "THINK ABOUT IT, there must be a Higher Love

                                    Down in the Heart or hidden in the stars above..."

                     

                          The Song itself is an Entreaty that borders on Supplication and resonates within my own Heart and my own Soul with rigorous Profundity, so much so that I use it to define my Existence .   Many of us do NOT Question ANYTHING let alone GOD, I Question Him  anyway,  He may Respond ....

                         OBVIOUSLY,  Steve and his co-composer Will Jennings, HAVE indeed, "Thought" about "Higher Love", and here I bring >Higher LOVE< into the AA Realm of "Higher POWER", which then produces, "Think about it, there must be a HIGHER POWER" .   Is Steve and Will desirous of a Higher Power that can generate a Higher Love ???   One MIGHT conclude, "yeah and FUCK YEAH " .

                        What transpires when we do NOT "Think-about-it" .   Steve and Will observe :

                                 "Things look so bad everywhere

                                   In this whole world, what is fair ?

                                   We walk blind and we try to see

                                    Falling behind in what could be ."

                       There it is : "Falling behind in what could be" .   We MISS "...what COULD be", which translates as the >>>Future<<< .  

                       Think about THAT !!!
