Muddled

I confess :   I thought I knew the Nature of  Muddle, and for the most part I do, but there remains the muddle in "the Sage seeks to muddle the Mind of the empire" and THAT muddle is muddling* .    On the surface muddle is another word for "DISTRACTION", used by trump effusively :   Propaganda IS >muddle< and "IT" has been SAVAGELY Successful .   But why would the Sage attempt this Muddle ?   Reason asserts it CAN'T-BE the Same muddle .  If not, then What ???

I am being called by a batch of fresh kim-chee I prepared yesterday afternoon, plus the Sun is BRILLIANT and my own Inner Children are SCREAMING for "Recess" .

I will work on finding a proper description for Muddle .   Please forgive an old man .
