Plutarch

                                                           One of my "Goals" is to find the ways and means to return Truth to World Consciousness via this medium of "Blog" .   It's my Belief that EVERYONE should  >contribute< to the so-called "Advancement of Civilization" by "appropriate" means, that which psychologically suits the 'Advancer' .   We all can't write, but each and everyone of us has within us a "Diamond" to share. These Diamonds manifest as "Gifts, Talents and Abilities" that can be expressed as "Truths" .   Here it is where the Arts dominated "Self-Expression" but I contend that one's Work can also be expressed as Expression of Truth, my Favorite Such Expression is from the Great Kahlil Gibran who proclaimed, "Work Is Love Made Visible" to which I supplement, Work is TRUTH made visible .  We speak of "Making an HONEST Living" , a Living where Truth is PROPERLY maintained as Core of one's Values, [Ethics,  Morals] and Beliefs .

                           Technically, our "World View" is the Direct Result of "the work of others", in this we are a product of those that have come before, {Because I am who I am} I must insist that `those that came before` must be examined, nay SCRUTINIZED so that we can have an understanding of the CONTEXT of THEIR EXISTENCE which allows us PERSPECTIVE to study OURS .   

                           Early in my "ON" I devoted the Study of Men solely to LEARN HOW TO BE A MAN, but what resulted was a Study of Men's MINDS .   When I was introduced to Plutarch and his Lives of the Noble Greeks and Lives of the Noble Romans I KNEW I had a TREASURE .   I couldn't get enough .   These were TRUE Men who struggled with the day-to-day of  Existence, both Societal and Political, and, of course, WAR .
