                              I awoke to myself reciting a line from this morning's Efforts .   The Universe-----again .

              Some time ago the thought 'arrived' that I could harness the I Ching to Aesop in order to produce a text that would supply adult readers with the ancient Chinese Wisdom [and its Bounty], so they could 'get' Something from Aesop's "Bottom Lines" .   One of Aesop's  (pronounced E-SOW) stories would be followed by an I Ching (pronounced "Yee Jing")  Commentary that would locate the Position of the Story as one of the I Ching's  64 Hexagrams .   

               At first I thought >>> WHAT A GREAT FUCKING IDEA--- but it didn't take long for "Daunt" to arrive as well .   Who (the fuck) has even HEARD of the I Ching let alone read its Contents ?  

               My "Modern Novels" Professor and Chairman of the U.Conn. English Department, Dr. Moynahan,,  `told` me my shit was good enough but that I had-ta "create" my own Audience .  Dr. Ken Ring, my Psychology Professor `told` me that it was the job of Modern Writers to >adjust< the ancient stories in order to make them  Relevant to contemporary readers .

                             It's taken some Time to realize {Real Eyes} that the Property I maintain CAN be a  Form  {Manifestation}  of,  what  I  will  label,   a  'Sidewalk  Ministry' .    Recall  the 1st Definition of Zen =  "A Special Transmission outside the Scriptures, with no Dependence on Words or Letters" .   Here it is where the Experience of Zen can be actualized by mere Gazing [ in this instance, on the gardens, and areas I have 'brought in' from the Emerald Beyond .

            Know this about 'Temple Life' ::  When-ever you have "free" Time, otherwise recorded as, "Luxury Time" in Buddhism, you are EXPECTED to use that Time to enhance the Beauty of the Temple and its Grounds .    So it is with me .   These Grounds are TEMPLE Grounds, and as such, are Sacred .   Any Activity performed and/or conducted on the Grounds, whether it is maintenance or creative,,  is a manifestation of Love, properly identified as Devotion .    I believe it is singular to me, that I want these Grounds to be as Beautiful as I can get them in order to entice the Celestial Beings to Visit and bestow Their Blessings upon me and my Effort.  I am selfish -- Believe it .

               After 15 million inauthentic dazes, I was finally able to 'put-together' a Garden for Saint Francis beneath a North American Red Cedar that also has,, as it's lead-up-walk-to,, a Cross made from tiles that were scattered about the property, and which, initially, I had NO Clue as to their application .  I placed the tiles on ancient, black, over-sized shingles I found at the side of the road .   The lead-up is soft yet STUNNING  and rings Heart Bells as Truth .   From some movie somewhere, "Some days,, the Magic Works."

            I had to retire to the bedroom chamber at 7:30 last evening---even the Qittens were surprised, they asked, "Papa, what the fuck is RWONG with you ???"  I answered, I'm a "Crispy Critter".  I'm BURNT, and I can't keep my eyes open .   They had no response . 

            I've been going "Full Tilt" which make absolutely NO Sense, since when you're "banging them pleasure machines" and you are too 'flipper' aggressive the "TILT" appears and it's "Game Over".  Well that DIDN'T happen .   I bought a Special Dose/Blend of THC that is Aggressively Sublime, meaning, it supplies an Energy that supports your Will to such a degree that you FEEL that you are SUPER-Human >>>Operational<<< .  Thing is, there's a Price to Pay .   I'm paying it today .

                              The Universe has been sending me Answers to questions I asked Seasons ago .   The Info is arriving at an alarming rate .   'Stand-alone' Info has relative Value because it lacks MEANING .   Once Meaning has been established THEN that Info is transformed into Knowledge but even Knowledge has its shortcomings with regard to APPLICATION, i.e., what the fuck do you DO with It ????

No Brain, No Gain

                             It's not exactly the Writing Season, but I have been waiting for a 'first sentence' to arrive so that I can alleviate some Guilt .   Well, the ''first sentence DID arrive an it is this :  Writing requires {DEMANDS} Inspiration, Motivation, Focus and, most of all, Commitment .    You quidz* KNOW I'm lazy so THAT'S a Problem .   I wait around to be SUPER Inspired [where Spirit is INSIDE Inspiration] so that  I  write  my  BEST  stuff {relative to the reader of course} and NOT the B- C+ shit that passes as Effort .   

             Despite a GRUELING {for me} outdoor Pace, I have awakened at 2 for the past few nights .   I know what it means = it's the Same as the headaches I receive piggy-backed upon Universal Message .   Yet,,, given the choice between putting my thoughts up and onto the screen, and getting outdoors to experience the Sounds + Fragrances of Early Summer Beauty ~~~ it's sorta a "No Brainer".

            I hazard using "Political SCIENCE" but Political Science IS the Term applied to those involved in Governmental Policy .   Perhaps at one time Political Science was THE Indicator that Common Sense, Rational Thinking, LOGIC, and Higher Order Reasoning,,,,  were the Basics of Governmental Benefaction but CLEARLY this THIS is no longer esteemed at ANY >>> Level -------------- .  

             

The Priests of Perdition

                             There exists a "Blur" that renders qualification and objectivity useless .   I use "Blur" instead of fog so that a Sense of Motion is expressed, Motion that itself, indicates Velocity .   Things  move  so  fast  they become  invisible, but the EFFECTS of Velocity can be Sensed and Felt .   We FEEL this 'invisibility' as a Sense of Dizziness, a sickening, an upsetting-- so that the Blur not only obscures Recognition but defies "Hands On" .   We say, "I can't get my head around it."  as if the Blur actually denies Understanding, Comprehension and Apprehension {It does} .

               I speak of the Blur because I can't get my head around the Collective's reluctance to SEE "Things" as they REALLY   ARE .   Here it is where the Blur is RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES in BOLDEST Method >>>>   "In God We Trust ".

               2 words ::  The Division between 'Church' and State .

                              Yesterday, we learned that there are a few "Old Schoolers" who want to Restore what was once THE "Republican Agenda" in an Effort to gain Ascendancy .   They view 20% of Old School Republicans who voted for Haley as Evidence of disgruntled Dis-Satisfaction .   They offer a "Return to Forever" i.e., the Re-Establishment of the "Establishment" --- the Status Quo "System" .   I'm no fan of the Establishment even though I Defend its Socialist Tendencies with ALL my Heart and Soul .  

              Here now "Lofty Idealism" versus the Street and Gutter BARBARISM of modern "Choke and Dagger" Ruthlessness--- the one where CRUELTY     IS       the   >>>Point<<< .   

              Horror upon Horror,,, the Gateway of the manifold Hells .

Rest in Peace

                         I tasked myself with offering a Zen Perspective to all Realities so that my Readers may find some "Sense" in a world of chaos, disorder, and CATACLYSMAL tumult .   Finding "Sense" is `suppose-to` supply a form of Meaning that puts the Mind "at Rest" .   Only "At Rest" can a Mind Heal and recharge itself .   Here it is where "Rest" is AS ESSENTIAL as ACTION .

              Ask anyone who "Lifts weights" and/or Body-builds and they will concur :   Rest is ESSENTIAL between sets and full work-outs .   So it is where > Mind < is equal to that Essential .

              

             

Cluelessful

                              It's been some time, I know .    I've been running away from my duties, mostly because of my inability to solve several "equations" .    Establishing equalities* from Thoughts and Ideation to various conditional Realities poses significant Speculations that put a strain on even "air-tight" cases .   Speculation is "only a shot away" from Imaginative "hooey" -- even IF it SOUNDS logically FANTASTIC .   

              I "Carry" questions in my day-to-day activities, allowing them to surface as they may, in an Effort to produce and maintain "Don't Know Mind" where I DO 'Know" the Answers and Solutions await in proximal urgency .   There's a GREAT scene in Apollo 14 where the Mission Commander dumps-out a box of filter parts onto a table and demands, "Build me a CO-2 Scrubber" .   That's where I am, with all the parts and NO fucking Clue .

The LAW in Flaw

                              I am "of the Belief" that trump will NOT be convicted in New York due to ONE juror .   It is BLIND Faith to believe that, despite OVERWHELMING Evidence of his GUILT, he will be FORCED to submit to ANY  >Justice< whatsoever .

                              Sometime ago I wrote that Democracy contained ---> Genetic Predispositions<--- which caused It to "Suffer onto itself ", meaning, Democracy, at its Inception, not only was Flawed Ideologically but Philosophically and Governmentally* as well .   When a man states that "ALL men are created EQUAL" but IGNORES the Manhood and Manship* of SLAVES, then his words are the ULTIMATE in Hypocrisy and it is this Hypocrisy that is the Root and Source of Political and Governmental Corruption .  

             So it is that the "Declaration of Independence" is nothing more than a solemn Oath to Hypocrisy.

Warm and WET

                              It's a million degrees outside, the Air thick and heavy ~~~ I was shocked .   I mean it this way :   it wasn't just damp, it was Wet---Warm and WET .  Oh my ... .

            Each morning I get outdoors to look around and figure-out what I'm-gonna do, depending on how my body feels .   It shouldn't be that way, I remember clearly when 'it' wasn't---those days are gone ..... .

                              Folks complain, "I HATE' my job."  How can that be ?  When asked why they just don't try and get another job that is far more suitable ,  they say , "Well, I can't" .   When pushed, "Why not ?"   They are reluctant to answer THAT with HONESTY .   Have we ever heard, "I'm just too fucking LAZY !"  ~~~  I believe we have not .

                              I have wondered about the nature of Hatred, whether or not we are born with it, meaning, is Hatred an Instinct ?    I'm hard-pressed to answer that in the affirmative .   Elsewhere I have proffered the argument that Hatred is FEAR although I have yet to qualify that statement with the Science of Hatred, or the Physics of Hatred.   The essence of my argument resides in the Essence of Fear, as in the Fear of DYING, that all Fears [and Hatreds] are manifestations of the  Fear of Dying  and that this Fear "begets" Hatred, the HATRED of Knowing We MUST Die .  I have yet to devise the scheme that would 'do' a one-to-one correspondence between Fear and Hatred so my argument is less than satisfactory .   

               Fear as INSTINCT , Hatred as Emotional Response to TRUTH .   The eminent Kung Fu Master has tried to sooth, "Fear is the Body's Wisdom, that it is weak" .   What, then, can be said of Hatred ?

The Niche

                              Virgina Woolf penned A Room Of One's Own ---that's as close to 'niche' as we need to be .   The Value in 'niche' is the 'n' which can stand-for 'nest' ,  making it, A Nest of One's Own .   

              The Status Quo has offered "The American Dream" which I have discounted as, the American NIGHTMARE .   Great job, Great Wife, Great Kids, a dog and 2 cats ---monu-MENTAL delusion that has reeked HAVOC upon   ANY   Form  of  American Spirituality .   

               Superficial Aspects of "A Room of One's Own include not only one's domicile but the "Man Cave" -- indeed, I refer to MY >>>Room as a Cave , but I add to the Cave a SPIRITUALITY that the Ancients found within its Dark Confines .   I Love that .  {Cave as Womb} .

               

The Seething Malcontent

                              In many ways I am nothing more than a seething malcontent .   I am Angry all the time .    I am agonizingly aware of my flaws, shortcomings, mental deformities and profound Ignorance .   A War Wages within me every minute of every day, the War against my own Ignorance that manifests as self loathing .    Oddly, I have had access to Satisfaction and even Contentment ------why I don't Seek to reside in these Paradises is largely due to Spiritual malfeasance, my unwillingness to Value anything less than Utopic Perfection .   Dave Mason lyrics, "Understanding is the key" but Zen Master Seung Sahn once scolded me, "Too much Understanding CANNOT help you ."   I mean, there's that .

"Kung Fu"

                              Society 'tells' us that we must "Find" our selves .  It is generally believed that when we DO "Find ourselves" then we will {somehow} be rewarded with Health, and Prosperity .   Indeed, in the now Ancient TV Series "Kung Fu" the Master affirms, "When a man finds his Way, Heaven is gentle ."

              Clearly, as we are all WELL AWARE, >Finding< ourselves is "Easier SAID, than Done" .

                              Of all things, believing in yourself is the most difficult .   So much depends upon your upbringing, education, and physical advantages .   However, since I Believe that Zen is a Way in which Suffering can lead to Enlightenment, then it is imperative to "See into one's self" that one's Buddhahood will be Revealed .

                 It may be that the ULTIMATE Zen Question was conferred upon us by Society's, "What do you want to be when you grow up ?"  Is this not the beginning of "Seeing into one's self {and the attainment of Buddhahood}" ?  I Believe it to be .

             I wondered., "What Powers that Searchlight ?"  Almost instantly >>  Great Question << .   2 words ::  It made perfect Sense .

             Zen Master Seung Sahn cites "Three Essential Elements of Zen" ,,, they are :   "Great Faith", "Great Courage",, and "Great Question" .   Maybe I was 'onto' Something .

The Book of the Dread

                              In  Steppenwolf   Hesse writes a scene in which "Harry Haller" { H.H. Hermann Hesse}  is invited to a dinner by his neighbors .   It seems that these neighbors admire Haller for his Writing .  As the conversation turns to present day politics Haller is inwardly disgusted with himself for having accepted the invitation .  His neighbors reveal that their personal Politics are a direct Assault on Haller's own .  Haller can find no way to influence these {Redneck} neighbors and instead of engaging them straightaway, he excuses himself , applying the social contrivances of the day to escape .   

             I have GREAT FAITH in my own Thinking that the Present-Day Collective Conscious CAN Alter the Trajectory of Humankind  >>> IF <<<  all are United on a "Same Page" Mind-Set of Universal Reformation {Re-Form-ation} .    The Difficulty for ME is to present such a Mind Set in a VIABLE Contiguity that has, at one end, the Historical Past and at the Other, Reformation .

                              I'm as guilty as all the rest .    I advance into the Future while looking into the Past for Guidance and Orientation .   I suppose it is much safer to use the Past as a Compass ---  but still --- that THAT Pre-Supposes an End Goal that exists as either a Utopia or some Variant of "The Land of Milk and Honey" .   {In the End}, I'm not "buyin' " that either .

              I suspended my activity in my own 'Group', "One Flower Zen", because the Ancient Zen Masters cood* offer no DIRECT expression of War's Chaos, Destruction, Turmoil and Horror and a Sense of Rationality that cood alleviate a maddening Depression inflicted as World Karma .   I LOATHE the 'notion' of "Every day is a GOOD day" !   How can that be ?

                              At some point Gaza and the West Bank MUST-BE united, in a same-territory manner, otherwise there would be a THREE State solution .   The West Bank contains within its borders the so-called "Eastern Aquifer" to which a Water Industry must-be created and maintained .   OBVIOUSLY, arable  land  is  at  a  PREMIUM  and  along  THAT  order  an   AGRICULTURE   Industry  is  also DEMANDED .   

               Since Gaza is a coastal Territory, all Israeli Sanctions against Palestinian Fishing MUST-BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY .   Plans MUST-BE developed to Secure a Palestinian Fishing Industry that it may FEED its Population .   Here now the ABJECT NECESSITY for a Portside* Industry, an Import/Export  [Receiving and Shipping]  `Hub`  from  which  Palestine  Receives  and  Distributes its Staples . 

                All the War Debris from AMERICAN bombs and Ordinance should be trucked to the coast and used to foundation the Port of Rafah, in the same way that the Japanese moved a mountain, LITERALLY, to the sea to build airports and the like .

                              Look at Japan, Vietnam, South Korea and most importantly, the E.U .    America's one-time Enemies benefit from American Hegemony, a one of {Democratic} Capitalism gone the way of "Sphere of Influence" .   Indo and Micro Nesia and even the Philippines were [also] richly endowed with American Succor .   Should they be the Paradigm for Palestine ?   If so, what is to be done with Arabic-Speaking Nations since it is Arabic that is spoken by Gazans and West Bankers ?

             Netanyahu insists that Rafah  is to be destroyed but what of the War intra-territorial migrants ?   There is only one place that can be made Safe for Gazanz and West Bankers and that's OBVIOUSLY the West Bank .   The U.N. SHOOD* establish a Safe Zone within the West Bank, a Peace-Keeping and Aid Supplying expeditionary Force that it may Secure Aid Dispensation and Infrastructure Temperance*, that is, some form of Parliamentary Oversight provided by the U.N. as a Governmental Adequacy* .

                             In a Sense,  American  Protectionism  has  'made'  Israel  something  of  an  American Colony .   No U.S. Defense, no Israel .   As a Colony, it is a DEPENDENT of America, a something I'm CERTAIN `troubles` Israel no end .   

              The Israeli War Plan, to reduce Gaza to rubble while exterminating as many Gazans in the process,, has had American Support albeit with utmost HORROR .   Netanyahu's middle finger has held many  American's  transfixed,  as  he  wages  a  War that  IGNORES Civilians, hospitals and Life-Giving Aid .    Netanyahu is a Human Atrocity .   America SUPPORTS Netanyahu, therefore, America is a Human Atrocity .

Soul Eaters

                              Nationwide campus protests signal an 'Awakening' of the Collective's educated youth, if 'youth', as a term, can be applied to 18-22 year olds .    It's good that they have awakened, bad that they suffer from the ravages of an American Foreign Policy gone the way of the 3 Sluts :::    Miss Appropriate, Miss Trust, Miss Use .    Generations have survived the callous and seemingly innocuous 'Diplomacy' of arming the Israeli's with the stick of state-of-the-art Technology and carrot of a "Two State Solution"  .   Both of these elements have transmogrified into Soul Eaters .    

                 The Students have fallen woefully short of an all encompassing Resolve that not only condemns Israeli near-Genocide of Gazans and West Bankers but seeks to advance the CORRECT Solution, the establishment of a Palestine that has the backing and support of the United Nations and Global Recognition of a self-Sovereign Nation .

               How, then, is Sanity to be reconciled with Insanity, Ethos reconciled with Pathos ????    Peace reconciled with War ????????

                Andre Malraux wrote, Man's Fate, a favorite of mine because of one character, "old Gisors" .   I HATED his final "words of advice" to the working masses but that is not the most important motif .   

                You gotta figure that Malraux BELIEVED that "Revolution" ,, constant "Revolution",, was, in fact,, Man's Fate .

                              We give names to our fav mechanical devices .   Roy Rogers and Dale Evans had a friend who named his Jeep, "Jezabel".  Sky King named his Piper Cub,  "Song-bird".   Ships, airplanes, jets and SUPER-Jets all have Female names .  They have Identities [and so] names and appellations SEEM Required, since mere numbers are boring and discount Identities .   Even guitars have names,  recall "Lucile" from the famous What's-his-name .

                 I have two kittens  they're VERY Special so I spell kittens with a Q and a y = Qyttens .  How sad wouldit be to name the Qytten 1 and Qytten 2 ?

                              I'm locked into Mortal Combat with my microwave which was built sometime between 4 B.C. and 2242 .  I shit you not .   This fucking unit is SELF-AWARE !!!!!!!!!!

              No matter what position I place my mug, its handle stops at the most ridiculous angle possible, causing me excruciating contortions to remove it from the glass platter .   I've tried every position conceivable by Human Beings and STILL nothing has worked thus far .  

               It's an old and FUTURISTIC "Magic Chef" with a Pull and Push Door and an old egg timer for a chronometer although it DOESN'T  "Tell" Time .

               I pooh-poohed the "Magic" front of Magic Chef , there's a little something to microwave 'magic'--but it's PHYSICS not MAGIC.  So----I mean---- there's THAT .

                Ya gotta figure that the Universe was Affirming my Resolve--- that my Idea to gather as much fertilizer as was possible was a GOOD one .   Recall the "Slash and burn" tactic of Farmers to rid themselves of under and over growth that would steal and/or deny land its natural fecundity .   The ash is fertile with micro-nutrients and the Burn partially sterilizes the soil enough to act as a pre-emergent .  "Win-Win" .

                  The good Doctor [ he is a Professor at Princeton ], insists that NOW is a 'Time of Reckoning' -- that the American "Collective Conscious" MUST >>address<<  its Past, what I have elsewhere described as Washingtonian Capitalism {Slavery} and  Plantational* Feudalism* .   Also, I have origined* the Notion that Washington's ownership of Slaves is as profound and deep as the Christian Dogma that identifies the Presence of "Original Sin" ,  meaning , the "Original Sin of Democracy is Washington's never-addressed ownership of Slaves .

                              Matt Damon did a terrific 'job' in Ridley Scott's "The Martian" .    It is RARE that {un}common  >Ingenuity<  is elevated to VIRTUE in such Romantic GRANDEUR --- but both Ridley  and Matt TRANSCENDED  Standard Cinema Fare as they 'dealt with' first ABANDONMENT and then Martian SURVIVAL .  Here it is where Common Sense and Higher Order Reasoning were DEMANDED by Existing Conditions --- and where each and every Problem manifested as EXISTENTIAL CRISIS .

              Here it is where each and every task -- even the teeny-tiniest -- presented CALCULABLE Scientific Forensics and therefore HAD-TO be addressed with purely OBJECTIVE Rationality .  

              In my Instance --  I had to "get by "  the Emotional TRAUMA {HY-end DRAMA] -- the one wherein I HATE myself for NOT being able to solve what appeared to be an EZ problem,,,  I mean shit, "A FOUR year old" cooda* figured this one out"  After a few hours I NEEDED a 4 yr, old because I had come up with nothing less than "Deaf-Dumb and Blind- Ness*" .

The Think King

                             Eventually I asked the CORRECT Question, `What is the   BEST    way to fasten the chain to the knob ?`   MUCH better .

              You add 'cable-ties'  to your 'duct tape' tool box and you can head to Mars or Jupiter anxiety free .

               I got the cable-tie of the correct size and threaded it through the last chain link--I DIDN'T "snug-it-up"  because I left space for a snipper* in the event I had to remove it .   VOILA !!!!!!!!!!!!   Now it  'works' swimmingly .

                              You guessed it ... THAT is EXACTLY what happened {  --- _   }   the choker fell off . 

                I hadn't secured the choker properly because IT had a shortcoming = a half link I THOUGHT would be enough to lock it to a whole link .

                I HAD considered other solutions :  string and an eye hook ;   KNOTTING the chain ;   blah blah blah    but when Magnetism arrived I chose that .   I mean it this way :   in my HEAD it was perfect, on the knob not so much .   Nothing's Correct UNTIL IT IS TESTED !   I learned THAT from watching the Discovery Channel's "WINGS" , where I also learned :  There's no such thing as a >failed< experiment  and this gem, There ARE  >> WRONG << Questions .  

                By now you've probably asked , WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF THIS STUPID SHIT ?

Door-ango CHAINED

                              Here's the Solution --->   Magnetism .

                 Here's what resulted :  I figured to use a magnet and some small chain and to choke the door knob with the chain and marry it to a broken magnet I had stuck on the file cabinet .

The Door between Interstitial Spaces

                              So there's this door between interstitial places that has  tortured me as though I am tied to its "Whipping Post" .   For YEARS I've had to endure ETERNAL sufferings because I have been unable to correctly address its seemingly DIABOLICAL presence .    I was stuck on using various blocks and rubber stops, I even used a 3 lb, dumb-bell so APPROPRIATE to its [my] Enigma .   I succeeded at being excruciatingly Frustrated .

              I told my Self "This HAS-TA end".   OBVIOUSLY I was asking the rwong* question(s) .   Not just any fucked-up piece of shit would work, because the door HAD-TA shut,,, and twine, and string and such would NOT be helpful since I'd need an eye-screw to anchor it and besides that I'M FUCKING SOOOOOOOOO LAZY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

              I mean it this way =  I HAD a viciously STRONG back but then I got old and now it's weak as a newborn kitten .   I do EVERYTHING to AVOID bending over to pick things up -- indeed I have not one, not Two but THREE "grabby-things" that I now CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT .   I'd walk a MILE just to get one to pick up even ONE sock---that's how bad it is .   

              I have a grabby-thing next to the dryer so I don't have to perform acrobatic MIRACLES to remove the dried laundry--I call it my "spear/grabber" so I can achieve some sort of Face-saving mental posture .   I spear the items as a spear fisherman .   How great am I ?????
