The example commonly used is Climate Change. Conservatives DO NOT WANT the Change that IMPOSES Regulations upon existing Atrocity Machines and Industries, but instead they call for a New Technology that will ADAPT Us to New Environmental HORRORS. Clearly, Regulation entails RESPONSIBILITY, a Thing that Conservative Elitists are committed to repulse. To THEM, the Industry Status Quo is PERFECT because it is US not THEM that must endure its toxicity and lethality. They reap the BENEFITS of OUR Misery, Hardship and Suffering.
They want to get paid for poisoning and killing us.
It really is that simple.
